BB Device Software :: SMS & MMS Not Working At All?

After upgrading the software on my BB, the SMS & MMS took all of my messages and put them into one long conversation that I can't delete.All new text messages appear in that conversation, and I can't delete them either. The title of the conversation is the name of sender of the first message, and it names all new messages as that person, even if it isn't them.
Also the graphics keep glitching when I scroll through the opened conversation. And sometimes the enter button won't even work to allow me to send sms in reply.I don't text all that often, but my coworkers want to contact me via sms, and this is just driving me insane.

I updated my BB 9700 to v 5.0.0.545 (Platform 5.1.0.140)and subsequently pressing on the "mute" button no longer turns on/off "standby mode.I tried the mute button during a phone call and that works fine. So I don't think the issue is hardware.Plus it was all fine before the device update.

I have recently upgraded the OS of my blackberry bold to 5.0.0.592. I am using Mobilink in Pakistan as my network service provider. The moment i have upgraded my OS, i am not able to install the Blackberry App World on my mobile any more. When i go to mobile.blackberry.com and try to download the blackberry App world, it gives me below error:
"Sorry your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Blackberry App World."Also i have gone to your website link :

And could not find Pakistan in the list of countries. Please let me know how to get the blackberry app world.

I just got a brand new N900. I wonder whether wifi is broken - I cannot see any access points when I click on "Internet Connections". (There are about 5-10 in my neighbourhood and I have my own wireless router.) Also, if I go to "Setting" -> "Connectivity" -> "Internet Connections" and then try to setup a new connection and scan for "available wi-fi networks" it doesn't find any. Even if I enter the setting by "hand" (i.e., my SSID etc.) I cannot connect, nor does it show the connection as available.Does anyone have an idea how I can find out whether that's a hardware problem?

Ugh...my storm 'died' yesterday, and i got my replacement phone today. in the course of trying to download and install app world to get all my old apps back, i ran into a problem. there seems to be a problem with the url or download link, something. i get a bland 'error' when i attempt to input my email address to have the link emailed to me. when i try to click on the download button, i get taken to a page that tells me "You have attempted to access a software download page that does not exist. Please check the URL and try again".just to be sure i wasn't going blind, i checked on other computers with other browsers; same thing. i called my provider (Verizon) who verified my problem and told me this was on BB's side.

My phone is currently unable to be used, Â whatever i do, whatever app i open i get a message that the device usage has stopped working. Â I dont know what actually does the device usage do because after pressing Ok i can do what i want for another 5 minutes to get the mesage. It's really annoying when playing a game, Â writing posts on Facebook, Â message.Â

I am having BlackBerry 8520 Curve and purchased it on May'10. After buying this BB handset I am facing the problem in audio and not able to listen the voice clearly. I had submitted my handset for 4th time at Redington India Limited Ahmedabad for the same issue, but the problem is yet not rectified.I have submitted my handset again at Redington on 26th July 2012 and they have given me the estimate of Rs. 4200 to change the housing of the handset. Before that I have given my handset at Redington for the same audio problem on 14th Mar 2012, 16th Jan 2011 & also give while the handset was in warranty period, but the problem is still same.Now my question is that, I have give mobile 4 times for same issue and still I am facing same problem than why should I pay for housing, as it is manufacturing fault of handset. Still my mobile is at Redington and I want the permanent resolution for the audio problem, and if you are not able to solve the problem than please keep the handset with you, as I don't want the defective handset.I have purchased the Blackberry as it is the brand name and for the service but I am really disappointed by such kind of worst service.Removed personal information to comply with Community Guidelines and Terms and Conditions of Use.

My girlfriend left me and moved to Australia but she still likes the Bold 9900 that I bought her. It was on Rogers and worked great. Before she left, we had Rogers unlock it. She now has an account with Telstra in Brisbane. She has a new Telstra SIM installed and BBM and data work fine but not voice calls apparently. So far Telstra seems unable to help. Does anyone have an idea of why this issue would be present? Are there some advanced settings that need to be adjusted to provision on Telstra that are different than Rogers? Just to be clear, the phone is not roaming from Rogers to Telstra,it is unlocked and set-up on a Telstra account.

My network (O2) say I can update my Bold 9700.
Because I use a Mac I plug it into the desktop software and it should offer me the chance to update to version 6. It doesn't. Using BB5 1022 at the moment.

I just got my blackberry a few weeks ago, and it was working perfect up until I downloaded BlackBerry Desktop Manager, plugged my handset in and updated it.... It operates much slower. There's a good 5-15 second delay when trying to access the menu, and it will freeze while I'm trying to answer incoming calls. Also my alarm clock doesn't work anymore. There's no sound coming out when it goes off, the volume is set to high, but it will still ring when someone calls me. It was working prior to the update, and I didn't change any settings after. Is there a way to roll back the update. I thought updates were supposed to fix problems and issues, not create them.
ps it is a BlackBerry 9000 carried by Rogers, O/S version 4.6.0.303

I have a problem I cannot conect to 2 wifi spots that have the same ssid it tels me to replace the other one as my router at home and at work are the same I have to delete one which makes me enter the pasword all the time is there no way to change this Also app world doesn't work on my mobile why its a bb smartphone right so why can't I use it?

I've seen a few posts like this but nothing recently. I have a mere 3 BB Msgr contacts, all of which have worked fine the last several months. Suddenly this week, I cannot communicate with one contact, but can with the others. Re-inviting problem contact via email or PIN does not work - invitation never received. Also tried being invited by other BB contact, I never receive the invite. Have tried the trouble shooting described (deleted pending invites, battery reboot, reinvite) to no avail. Now I have stopped getting messages from other 2 BB contacts and am wondering if they have suddenly stopped working also.Any ideas how to fix, and why this drop-off would occur?

Upgraded last night to 5.0.0.822 and now phone DOES NOT ring.Also get message "An error has occurred attempting to play media" for ALL media types even when I test the profiles.Pulled battery and all the usual tricks but no help.camera sound does work. How do I downgrade OS and which one should I go to since this one is no good?

I was trying to listen to music as usual using the orginal headphones that came with the M9, however it did not detect it and the sound played through speakers instead. So I tried them in three different phones and they worked just fine, so then I thought it was the jack socket, but I tested two different headphone (Phone and computer) and by some miracle both worked. So now I'm seriously confused whose fault is it? The headphones or the socket?
I managed to get the headphones working on the M9 for about 20 seconds before they stopped working again, I did it by pressing harder and fiddling with the cable, but now it won't work at all, despite the other headphones working just fine.

Snapchat is not working right after I tried to use snaprefs to upload a pic, I cleared app data to get snaprefs working! I did softreboot a few times, then when I tried logging in snapchat I wasn't able to.. I got a pop up saying
"Oh no, your login temporarily failed, So please try again later. If your login Continues to fail, please visit (I can't Add links as I'm a new member)....

I have just bough an HTC Sensation, signed up for HTC Sense all seems to be working except 'Device location' says device finder is off - well, it isn't off, its on, but no matter what I do the location does not register. I have seen other posts saying that this feature is generally not working.Is this still the case or does it depend where you are?

Got an unlocked 9550 (VW) activated but I am not getting emails (have BIS plan). I went to tmobile to change the device (PIN and IMEI) but tmobile says "The information you have provided is not valid for this provider."Also, I can't update the host routing table. It's blank and registering doesn't do anything. APN is set to epc.tmobile.com.

I just bought a blackberry 9700 yesterday and i am having trouble with the device manager. After installation, i plug the blackberry using the usb into my laptop (windows 7) and it says Device Manager has stopped working and wants me to close the program. I have uninstalled it and re-downloaded it again and again but the same error keeps happening. I don't know what to do!

I cannot get the Gmail Enhanced Plugin to work on my Tour 9630 w/ Verizon.
My Gmail account sends and receives messages fine, but I can't get any of the extra features included with the plugin. I have tried many different setup procedures but can't seem to get it to work.I've tried deleting my Gmail account from the Verizon BIS website, and then adding it again. That didn't work.
I tried deleting my Gmail account, uninstalling the plugin, resetting my BB, installing the plugin, and re-adding my Gmail account. That also didn't work.If it helps I'm using the v5.0 OS.

I have updated my moto x from KK to LP. All is fine and snappy etc, but I'm not sure if I have turned anything off, because waving my hand over the screen doesn't seem to do anything any more? It was working fine. I have been playing around with the settings to get the phone to my liking - I may of accidentally turned something off, I'm not sure.

I have upgraded to the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and I am having trouble getting the BlackBerry Appworld to work ... I have updated it to the latest software available and it still says that my BlackBerry does not meet the system requirements.Has anyone got any suggestions?I am with 3 and I have the BlackBerry Browser and email package on it too ... also there is no option for me to set up my hotmail account on the system it is only allowing me to use a BlackBerry Enterprise Server account.

I recently purchased a blackberry 8320 from a friend it was giving some problems like: Cant setup own email account, bis moves slow, msn gives and error.So i decided to do a handheld wipe then after the wipe finished i did a battery pull and then i stop reciving service books like the phone was locked down or something. I called my service provider (Digicel Jamaica) then told me to re-register the HRT which i did before many times and a number of battery pulls and nothing happen so i deiced to post this in the forums and see if i could get any help with these issues

I have smart switch installed on my pc with windows 10 and i try to backup data from my g920f running latest 6.0.1.
Smart Switch is stuck at "To complete the backup using Smart Switch you need to temporarily allow some permissions. Allow the permissions on the connected device"... There's no prompt on my phone.
I tried all kinds of reconnecting, restarting but still this dialogue.
