When traveling, and I change time zones all my appointments change times. How can I stop this?For example, I live in Denver, and enter appointments while on my home time zone. However, even when the appointment I enter is in another city I'll enter the exact time. When I get off the plane and change time zones all the appointments change too.

After the update I pretty much lost the ability to automatically connect to LTE, it would mostly only connect by toggling airplane mode or the CDMA CDMA/LTE mode. Spoke with HTC which suggested remove and re-install sim card.I followed HTC suggestion.
After phone rebooted it connected to LTE but was stuck in Central Time Zone for about 4 hours, then the phone finally went back to Eastern Time Zone.My LTE issue seems resolved but the phone continues to revert back to Central Time 4 to 5 times per day for up to a half an hour each time regardless of where I am locally.I know I can manually set my time zone but I dont think I should have to do that.In CDMA only mode the phone is fine.
When I change time zones, my appointments change time as well.How do I stop this but be able to change time zones when I am flying interstate. I would have my appointments on the correct time wherever I am.

We have began to implement the mobile version of the Sage Sales Logix application on Blackberry Bold devices and we are having an issue with calendar appointments being created on the BB inside this app are not holding the correct time when the client version of this application is accessed. We have tried to work with Sage support on this issue, but they think this is a setting issue on the actual device.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI would like to know if there is a way to avoid calendar appointment times changing when the time zone automatically updates. I would book theatre tickets in New York at 8pm and put that in my calendar. When my BB Curve updates the time to New York time from South African time, all my appointments also change by the 7 hour difference.
Is there a way of keeping the calendar entries at the entered time when the phone updates it's time zone. This also happens when updating the time manually on the phone.
Since the time change on Saturday night, my phone keeps jumping between two time zones. I have tried resetting it in the set up menu and turning my phone off and on again. Any ideas why and how to fix it?

About half of year ago in Russia was passed the low, that we don't transfer to winter time. About two mounths ago my nokia 5230 transfer to winter time. I wait update program every day, becouse my clock wrong to me.I try to tune clock by hand and change time zone, but GPS disordered my clock everytime. I try to get help from russian call center, but them except as standart phrases "The Developers know about this problems, We don't know nothing, Just wait and belive, The developers develop development... bla bla bla" and nothing more. I like my phone very much (much more than all Android and Iphones taken one with another) but i think that case is irresponsibility of Nokia Company and its Russian offices.

View 1 Replies View RelatedJust a few hours ago I picked up my phone and realized the time was behind by 21 minutes..I have been trying to go in and manually change the time but I guess you aren't allowed. I tried changing time zones and going back, rebooting and searching can't seem to find a solution. When I go into options, date/time..under device time the time is wrong but the actual network time displays as the right time.

Once my other workouts are synced, the table in the heart rate zones tab shows the total number of minutes spent in each individual heart rate zone. This is not happening with the programmed interval workouts. I know my zones are being recorded because of the feedback I get during the workout and the color coded graph portion seems to be accurate. The table on my recent 25 minute interval workout reads 1:55 in Z2, 2:32 in Z3, 0:36 in Z4, and 0:00 in both Z1 and Z5. Clearly these durations do not add up.
View 14 Replies View RelatedWhen I create an appointment (am using the stock calendar on my Atrix), about 20% of the time it decides to use the Mountain Standard time zone instead of the Centrral Standard time zone that I am in. The time zone is set to Central in both the settings for the phone and the settings for the calendar. Anyone else seeing this problem?
Am running the latest updates and have relatively few apps installed as my phone is used for business instead of personal and fun. Also, am running on an Exchange Server, but since the calendar is setting the time zone for the appointment incorrectly (I check the time zone before even saving the appointment), it's not a prolem with the Exchange Server or with sync.
We just implemented BlackBerry Professional Server with a handful of users and I've noticed the following behavior: When a calendar appointment is created on the BB, it syncs with Outlook and appears there as well. If the appointment is then deleted in Outlook it remains on the BlackBerry.If the appointment is created and deleted on the BB it appears and disappears in Outlook just fine.Can anyone assist in troubleshooting this one?

What I am refering to is, the device OS is working but I try to open apps and nothing is happening, I can hit the home key and the apps button and they work but opening any apps nothing will happen. Sometime the apps will partialy open but sit there.
What i noticed when this is happening is the device is syncing. I am assuming it is doing my facebook, picasa, you tube, and twitter sync. Somethimes it recovers and works and sometimes it has the sync symbol an hour later and I have to reboot the device.
everytime I synch my Curve 9360 with my desktop software, the Time Zone changes from GMT to Eniwetok (which is minus 12 hours) automatically. I had this problem with my old 9700 since the issues a few weeks back, and hoped the upgrade would change the problem - not so.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Torch 9800. This device freezes up multiple times per day. I've had it for 1 1/2 years now, and has done this since about 6 months in. Used to happen only occasionally, then more often. When I upgraded the software it seemed to stop for awhile, then started again, and is now not only annoying, but is preventing me from doing my work. It has frozen up already 4 times in a 5 hour time period. When this happens, I cannot do anything, access emails, make calls, etc. I can receive calls, but cannot disconnect once the call is complete. The freeze goes on for between 5 and 10 minutes at a time. Sometimes (but not always) once its done, an error message comes on screen that says: "Uncaught exception: Application net_rim_bb_messaging_app(1637) is not responding, process terminated. " The number (1637) is always different. I do not use BBM, and have tried to see if I can delete it from my phone, but it doesn't seem that I can. I am up to date on all software.
