View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I travel to a different time zone my BB does not automatically change to the new TZ. How do I fix that? I have a verizon 9630.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to automatically sync my time? My BlackBerry gains about 20 seconds per day. If I switch my connection from Verizon to BlackBerry or viceversa It corrects itself but then starts to gain time again.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I sync my BB Tour with my computer, it changes the time on my appointments, which is quite a problem! I've check both my BB and my computer and BOTH are correctly set to Central Time. I have not traveled out of my time zone and have not changed any properties on either device.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI see the official software for the Tour stickied up top is for Sprint. Is there a good 5.0 software for Verizon Tours at this time? Or is the issue of returning your Tour to Verizon still an issue?
View 13 Replies View RelatedI've never had a problem before, and now out of the blue it restarts itself every time I try to send out a text. This is highly annoying and inconvenient and I really have no clue how to stop it. My trackball is also jammed, but I don't think they're related at all.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen is the patch anticipated for our C5's to fix the broken clock problems? If it just displayed the wrong time it would be one thing, but since it affects the ordering of text messages displayed et al, it's a bit more of a catastrophic issue.
Others have reported that hard resetting the device only lasts momentarily and that the bug is pretty fatal.
I travel a lot and I've noticed that quite often when I turn on my phone after landing that the time zone doesn't automatically switch time zones and network time is unavailable. Is there a reason for this? I would have thought that all networks would broadcast time and that all phones would be able to receive it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have noticed this device act like windows XP. What I am refering to is, the device OS is working but I try to open apps and nothing is happening, I can hit the home key and the apps button and they work but opening any apps nothing will happen. Sometime the apps will partialy open but sit there.
What i noticed when this is happening is the device is syncing. I am assuming it is doing my facebook, picasa, you tube, and twitter sync. Somethimes it recovers and works and sometimes it has the sync symbol an hour later and I have to reboot the device.
what are the steps to make my browser work? i had tried all the post in the forum. can someone please give me clear directions?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIMO, since I purchased my Tour - 9630 about a month ago, I believe it to be the best device for conference calls other than your PC and Windows Office Communicator.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI read several places in connection with the new 2.3.5 update it will be possible to separate screen time-out time from screen lock time. So that you screen would go dark after fx. 15 seconds and lock after 60 seconds
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just installed the newest official OS 5.0 from verizon onto my verizon tour. At first everything was going smoothly. But now, my tour will randomly disconnect from the wireless network and say it's "searching for CDMA" or when it does connect to the network, It won't connect to 1XEV, so I can't use data or anything. I've tried a battery pull and resending my service books but I'm still having this problem,
View 6 Replies View RelatedCan someone please help as to which OS 5.0 I should download for Tour 9630 on the Bell Network? I noticed the sticky above, but there are several links.Just trying to find out which one would be best for Tour 9630.
View 4 Replies View RelatedCurrently in Europe, trying to get my phone to work! have the network changed to global and I am signed up for a international plan, but where my signal bars usually are it says "SOS" in red.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have always had problems with these "network" emails that transmitt information: network@etp1008.etp.na.blackberry.net This message is used to carry data between the BlackBerry handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server. I use desktop redirector to send messages from Outlook to my blackberry. Sometimes I rarely receive these and other times I will have my blackberry and Outlook inbox folder FLOODED with multiple emails of this kind. Sometimes as many as 100 emails overnight. The only way I have found to bypass these messages is to create a folder in Outlook (I named it blackberry emails) and create a rule for all incoming messages from these addresses to filter them into this folder and set the folder to not sync with my blackberry. This is the only way I have found to NOT get flooded with these emails in my inbox and blackberry. Does anybody know of a better solution or rather why these emails are coming? I know they are supposed to dissapear, but they are not.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI upgraded to the .419 release last night. Seems to be pretty good so far.The weird thing I am seeing today is that whenever I do a battery pull (several times today re-registering apps) I get a email in the Message box saying something about registration on the network was successful.
View 9 Replies View RelatedMy biggest complaint against BB was the ultra slow page load times that I would sit on the 'Requesting...' screen for ages and ages, sometimes refreshing it a few times it would finally get going to download the page. Well I went to Verizon today and talked withe tech he asked if I tried setting Mobile Network from Global to 1XEV. I said no and went ahead and did that, and wow what a difference. I was surfing on my BB for the past 30mins, the 'Requesting...' stays for less then 2 seconds before proceeding, the webpage seems to download faster, and it's so much better. I was also having the occasional issue where my antenna bars would suddenly disappear for a minute status would say 115dBm and then would popup back to 4-5 bars, that problem was resolved as well it seems. The tech at vzw said it was because in global the phone is alway searching to connect to both network or something.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI cannot access my wireless network - keep getting a message to turn on the radio. How do I do that?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just recently upgraded from the Curve 8330 and it still says 1XEV. My friend who works at VZW says it is 3G, if it is, it feels slow to me.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI received a download notification weeks ago to my BlackBerry for a new software update and have been unable to download it. It keeps telling me to try it from My BlackBerry Desktop -- i have and it does do it.
View 12 Replies View Relatedi saw on kevin's Internet video about the blackberry messenger stress test that it said "crackberry.com" at the top where it would normally say the network's name. is there a way i can actually enter in what i want or at least have the network's name on there? it's really annoying to have that blank space there at the top of the screen. it looks awkward for me.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a Tour 9630, it uses OS 5.0.0.1030.
I've had this phone for about a year, maybe a little over a year, and it's always updated to the local time zone when I travel. It just does it automatically. When I turn the phone on when the plane lands, within a minute or two it's on local time.
This week I'm in Dallas, which is on the Central time zone, but my phone is not updating to Central -- it's still showing Eastern time, which is my "home" time zone.
I looked at the settings in the setup wizard and "update time zone automatically" is selected. But it's not updating.
I've turned the phone off and on again. I've taken the battery out and replaced it, letting the phone reboot.
I now have 3 programs that can reset my device - Quickpull, Quicklaunch and Meterberry.I am curious if they all do the same thing, or is one better than the other.I am definitely keeping QL and was wondering if I even need the other 2? I do like MB as it notifies you when your mem, battery etc is low.
