I have one contact on my bbm list that I cannot send pictures or voice notes to. I can ping her, send her broadcast messages, send her normal messages, but not pictures or voice notes... I have no issues with anyone else on my contact list..

I tried playing some music on my blackberry today and it said "unable to play content". First I thought it was my memory card then I tried playing some voice notes and it cant even play that.

No it did not I have installed the new bbm and i can send voice notes which are heard by the other party.I can receive voice notes also but when i play it there is nothing. No sound, no duration nothing.Its like they sent me an empty voice file.I try and save the file and then play it and its says not supported media type."The media being played is of an unsupported format"
my problem is my black berry doesn't save the voice notes that I record to send them to one of my bbm contacts even though it save the ones I get from them!

It won't let me play back what I just recorded. I receive the error message: "Unable to play media". While recording, I watch the time-lapse, and it goes slow. It seems to stay on seconds longer than it should, when in actuality, it has recorded past the time that's shown. I've done batt pulls. Sometimes it'll work and sometimes it won't. I had a Pearl Flip and never exp'd any of these issues.

I've had 3 Nexus 6P, rooted, unrooted, stock WhatsApp, modded whatsapp..
..1/3 voice notes I send (around), if they're 2 minutes long, it'll play like 2 seconds and end, or just display an error when trying to play it.
I come from a S6, and a Note 5 and can confirm this has only happened on 6P.
I can't seem to send pictures through text...is their a way to make that work?
View 1 Replies View Relatedi have a Curve 9300 and recently upgraded to BBM 6 At first it worked ok but the functionality to send pictures and all other files through BBM was not available - it wasn't even a selection in the main menu. When I tired to go through the pictures folder sending to a bbm contact was not an option. since then i had to reboot the phone and the BBM icon has disappeared. It is noted as installed on my app world listing but I cannot run it or open it and icon has disappeared from my menu!
View 5 Replies View RelatedRecently my blackberry bold has stopped playing media files or voice notes, the only media that still plays is the alarm tone and the ring tone!On start up it gives the error message 'Uncaught exception : A browser content provider for video/3gpp MIME type has already been registered with the browser'.Then when you try to open a media file, the screen goes white and it says 'Unable to play content.'So far I've tried re-registering the host route tables, battery pull etc and software updates and nothing has helped.
