No it did not I have installed the new bbm and i can send voice notes which are heard by the other party.I can receive voice notes also but when i play it there is nothing. No sound, no duration nothing.Its like they sent me an empty voice file.I try and save the file and then play it and its says not supported media type."The media being played is of an unsupported format"
I tried playing some music on my blackberry today and it said "unable to play content". First I thought it was my memory card then I tried playing some voice notes and it cant even play that.
Recently my blackberry bold has stopped playing media files or voice notes, the only media that still plays is the alarm tone and the ring tone!On start up it gives the error message 'Uncaught exception : A browser content provider for video/3gpp MIME type has already been registered with the browser'.Then when you try to open a media file, the screen goes white and it says 'Unable to play content.'So far I've tried re-registering the host route tables, battery pull etc and software updates and nothing has helped.
The Blackberry Curve 9300 manual tells me how to record voice notes but doesn't tell me how long I can record. Is there a set time or can I record until the battery dies?
My voice recorder on Blackberry 9330 will not recognize the format it recorded in saying "The media being played is of an unsupported format." How do I get this to work?
my problem is my black berry doesn't save the voice notes that I record to send them to one of my bbm contacts even though it save the ones I get from them!
I have one contact on my bbm list that I cannot send pictures or voice notes to. I can ping her, send her broadcast messages, send her normal messages, but not pictures or voice notes... I have no issues with anyone else on my contact list..
email syncs fine, but calendar, contacts notes etc (in fact everything else) doesnt sync. as the exchange box is hosted, there is no way of putting BES on it. every other smart phone i have ever hooked up to this hosted exchange box works fine seems to be just the blackberry.
he has an exchange enabled outlook 2007 client on his PC looking at the same account. how can i get things to sync over the air (i dont want him to have to plug it in to the pc as this defeats the entire object of having an exchange solution).
Shouldn't the notification go through the headphones? For a while now the notification has been interrupting my music play, and plays the notification through the speaker and stops my music. It is quite annoying. Is there a fix anyone? This didn't used to happen
My Blackberry 8900 curve cannot play videos or music, when I try to play the videos and music it says "unable to play content"; I've tried re booting my phone and formatting my memory card but nothing works, I've also put a new memory card in the phone but it still won't work.
I find that when my phone rings it is only 2 rings and then goes to voice mail. how do i increase the ringing time before it goes to voicemail so that i can answer the call.
I am using 8900 curve. Whenever I play any media like audio, video, sometimes it is working fine but randomly it is popping up with the error "error when attempted play xyz which is quite unpredictable." I even update the software using desktop manager !
I'm using a Torch 9810 I any time I try to send a voice note in BBM it records a "blank" message. if I use the voice note recorder on it's own, everything works fine.
I have the Bold 9700, got it last week Thursday. I don't know IF upgrading to the new OS will help this issue, but my VNR seems to be buggy. It won't let me play back what I just recorded. I receive the error message: "Unable to play media". While recording, I watch the time-lapse, and it goes slow. It seems to stay on seconds longer than it should, when in actuality, it has recorded past the time that's shown. I've done batt pulls. Sometimes it'll work and sometimes it won't. I had a Pearl Flip and never exp'd any of these issues.
I have a blackberry 8520. I recently updated to the newest version of blackberry messenger 5.0. I used to be able to receive voice notes and pics before I upgraded, however, now I cannot. People recieve my voice notes and pics, but I cannot recieve theirs. A contact keeps trying to send me pics and voice notes and keeps getting the same message everytime she tries. the message tells her "xxx Unable to save file" xxx is me. I dont get it.
Hey all,So today my phone starting getting a little weird got onto BBM and it won't let me get incoming photos or voice notes I tried everything nothing worked. Then I tried to load apps that connect to the internet and they all freeze and do nothing at all. I cleared all my music and photos thinking a memory issue but nothing same problems. I've done 2 battery pulls and still nothing.
I've had my Blackberry Curve for nearly a year now, and played brickbreaker a lot. When I got my high score of 330,000+ with 70 lives my blackberry froze and an auto restart was neccesary wiping out all the data for the game. Ever since then my the game has been extremely choppy, and the battery life has drastically dropped. A week ago it began to freeze citing 'Voice Dialing search....' as the culprit. I keep it in standby mode when not using it, and have never tried to voice dial. Now, even when I send 5 texts and keep it in standby mode while at work all day the battery still goes dead to 10% after 12 hours. Neither Bluetooth or any internet connection is enabled Do I need a new battery, or is there something that I can do to fix it?
Blackberry just mashes all the files together in one chaotic list.It would be better if it showed the folders where the voice notes or videos are installed, and allowed you to browse the folders when you go to 'View Videos' or 'View Voice Notes'.I've got a 16GB memory card with hundreds of files. BB displays it as one massive mess.
