Mar 15, 2010i am having a long mp3 file each 1 hour, if i want to goto middle of the file directly and start playing, how should i do that in black berry curve?

Motorola Droid Razr HD :: Play An Audio File From File Manager?
Dec 15, 2012Using the stock File Manager app I can see audio files on my Maxx HD's internal storage and also on the SD card. I happen to be looking at ringtone files. If I tap on the filename to play the ringtone, Amazon Cloudplayer pops up and shows all the music files on my SD card. No ringtones can be found. If I back out of Amazon Cloudplayer and use the file manager to try finding and playing ANY audio file on EITHER my SD card or the internal storage I get sent to Amazon Cloudplayer. I then have to use the back button to get back to the file manager icon in the App drawer. Same thing happens if I try to play audio files on my SD card. Amazon Cloud Player pops up. I don't want to use Amazon Cloud Player to play an audio file in SD storage.
If I connect my phone to my PC and navigate to the ringtones on internal storage and click on them they play as per usual (Windows media player). If I use my PC to play audio files on the SD card they play as usual.Why does my phone default to Amazon Cloud Player when I tap on an audio file in File Manager? What is the stock audio file player on the Maxx HD? Why can't I browse to an audio file with the file manager and tap on it and have it play? How do I fix this?

Apr 5, 2011whenever i charge my phone and it gets too 100 percent, in an Irish like accent, it says somthing similar to "charging complete!" and is really loud, even though i have it on silent for everything. also when my battery gets down to 30 percent, in the same accent says battery running low! ive tried turning it off and turning my phoneback on, taking the battery out, looked all over for settings, and obviously switched what volume/vibrate/silence to make sure i have it right.

It takes several presses in for it to work, and I will often have to press it in quite hard. Sep 15, 2011One problem I am having is that I will occasionally get an error message when trying to play a media file that I know the phone supports that says "the player does not support this type of file", or something like that. If I turn the phone off and back on, it plays fine, but will then give me the error later on in the day. The types of files I am trying to play are mp3 and xvid avi. One idea I have is that the music player widget is cause the problem because if you play an mp3, but then try to do something else while it plays(multitask) it will not play in the background like it used to. You have to actually go into the media player and create a now playing list. This is very annoying to me as I play a lot of media on my phone throughout the day and currently have to restart my phone 2 or 3 times.

Mar 21, 2010I do have a few months old X6, which has worked quite fine so far. Now, surprisingly Music Player gives just "System Error" when trying to use it i.e. trying to play a song from the lists. I can play the songs direct from the X6 file manager, but not by the Music Player.
I've done all the normal stuff, e.g. installed firmware again, hard reset, etc. without any success. Seems to be that the library index, or related has been corrupted. Library updating does not work neither. Any ideas? Does anyone now where to find the library index (or related) file to be deleted? And furthermore to re-build the index again?
