I receive all my work voicemails through my exchange email account as a wav file attachment.I have always been able to open and play these with my previous phones but they won't play on the 920, it says "sorry, we can't play this file on your phone".

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a new Lumia 950 with Windows 10 Mobile. I got an email from a friend requesting a specific file. I have it on OneDrive so I clicked the paperclip and selected OneDrive. I quickly found the file, clicked on it and it showed "downloading". I clicked done and went back to my email. The file shows as an attachment and gives the size (36.6 KB). I typed a reply back to my friend and sent the file. He received it with no attachment. I tried it again, same response.The only way I can seem to get this file to him is to open OneDrive, click select, select the file and go through the share sequence to email it. Not really user friendly.Used to be easy in WinPhone 8.

Looking at how much it takes to crash it when attaching pics, it seems to be about 500k bytes, which is TINY. My E51 could email 10MB, in or out.

How can I change it to play through the phone's regular earpiece? I've looked at the Sound settings, and couldn't find anything. Sounds are processed by the phone's default sound app. The volume is controlled through the Media volume control.

View 10 Replies View RelatedSeems like it should be a simple task, but is a hoop jumping nightmare on the 1020. I simply want to email a photo to my printer (Epson Artisan 730), which only prints pdf attachments (jpgs do not print with epson email connect). I've downloaded several apps that promise to be able to create a pdf from a jpg image file and then mail it, but none seem to deliver on that promise.
EDIT: Now have jpeg printing working via email. Problem was paper source and size. Unfortunately can only use 4x6 default size for photos. Still need pdf printing from the main paper cassette to get larger prints.
Using the stock File Manager app I can see audio files on my Maxx HD's internal storage and also on the SD card. I happen to be looking at ringtone files. If I tap on the filename to play the ringtone, Amazon Cloudplayer pops up and shows all the music files on my SD card. No ringtones can be found. If I back out of Amazon Cloudplayer and use the file manager to try finding and playing ANY audio file on EITHER my SD card or the internal storage I get sent to Amazon Cloudplayer. I then have to use the back button to get back to the file manager icon in the App drawer. Same thing happens if I try to play audio files on my SD card. Amazon Cloud Player pops up. I don't want to use Amazon Cloud Player to play an audio file in SD storage.
If I connect my phone to my PC and navigate to the ringtones on internal storage and click on them they play as per usual (Windows media player). If I use my PC to play audio files on the SD card they play as usual.Why does my phone default to Amazon Cloud Player when I tap on an audio file in File Manager? What is the stock audio file player on the Maxx HD? Why can't I browse to an audio file with the file manager and tap on it and have it play? How do I fix this?
My new Nokia 7020 can't play the chosen mp3-file, as the sound of an incoming SMS. It tries it, but only jams the sound effect. This happens also, when I choose from the phones own internal message sounds At the incoming calls it plays the chosen music perfectly, the problem is only at the message sound.

(no paperclip symbol). I receive all other attachments fine when the email is not digitally signed.Using Verizon Wireless as carrier.if the signed email was sent to my Gmail account all attachments appear as normal.

No matter what I've tried, my 950 XL will not play sounds when I get emails. I've turned on "Play Sounds" in the settings, I've tried toggling between different email notification sounds, and still nothing. I also seem to be having this problem with Facebook Messenger. But no issues with texts, or things such as reminders.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI do have a few months old X6, which has worked quite fine so far. Now, surprisingly Music Player gives just "System Error" when trying to use it i.e. trying to play a song from the lists. I can play the songs direct from the X6 file manager, but not by the Music Player.
I've done all the normal stuff, e.g. installed firmware again, hard reset, etc. without any success. Seems to be that the library index, or related has been corrupted. Library updating does not work neither. Any ideas? Does anyone now where to find the library index (or related) file to be deleted? And furthermore to re-build the index again?
I cannot receive any MMS messages when I am roaming. I received a text with a picture attachment and I could not download the attachment because it came up with an error that said I had no data connectivity. The 3g data symbol was up and blue in color and worked because I was able to text via data roaming.I can send and receive calls and text messages while roaming, just could not get the MMS picture. I had everything checked correctly, data roam and call roam were both checked. The only way I could get it was to get to an area where I had sprint service to download. Is this a known problem? Where I work deep in the building I am usually roaming.

i am not being able to download attachments on g mail so I removed the gmail app from my 9650 (OS 6) and went to set up my account through the BB email client.I have yet to receive a single email to my BB despite sending several test email from other email accounts.
