if i dont use phone for a few min screen goes black to save battery , i open phone and attempt to bring back screen and unable to , remove battery allow to reboot and screen works fine , does it very offen how do i correct ?

It asked me for a reboot and then all of a sudden my blackberry won't start up. If i run it in safe mode i see battery charging for about 10 seconds and then battery with a red cross in the middle all over again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI had been using my Z2 for 1 and a half year. everything goes very fine until dew days ago. It suddenly goes into blackscreen while pressing power button/ power + vol. up does not work. I need to dock/charge it for like few secs to make it "alive". I tried reset phone to factory settings, and it still the same.
Tried repair through Sony PC Companion, but it takes FOREVER to download and i just give up this (I have totally no issue at all with my connection. I was browsing youtube, playing games, scrolling facebook etc. without any internet latency problems so definitely will not be my network problem). Then today, it restarted again, so i tried docking it (it was abt 90% remaining). once i dock it, it displays with very low battery (its like less than 10%).....

-I've tried taking the battery out and just plugging it in Nothing works. The red LED does turn on for a few seconds when I plug it in if that helps.
Recently my phone freezes when I am using it, it comes up with a small black egg timer symbol and it just kills my battery, i hear this is a common blackberry problem and it sometimes resolves itself when I pull the battery out the back, but surely this cannot be healthy for the phone to constantly pull the battery out whilst its still on?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Curve 8530. Several months ago, during daily use, the screen would all of a sudden go black. A battery pull would solve this problem for a while. Eventually this became more frequent. Symptoms progressed (it seemed that if I set the phone down too quickly it would reset) Finally, the phone would turn on, then go immediately to a white screen where it was undetectable by my computer. I contacted my service provider and they said the phone was toast and (amazingly enough) gave me a free loaner to use for the duration of my contract (all info transfered via an old backup, so nothing was lost) After my new phone was working I left my Curve plugged in at my office. Yesterday as I was leaving I looked at the phone again, and the screen was white and telling me to reload software 507.
I plugged it into my computer to begin the process and to my surprise the computer all of a sudden detected the phone and successfully upgraded the software. All looked great, I got past the password stage, and was just going to begin reloading my information when the screen faded to blank again. I still have the free loaner phone, so it's not a big deal, but it's bugging me as to what the problem could be. As of right now the computer can no longer detect the phone again
So had my N900 for a little over a week now and overall I'm pretty impressed. Great phone, but still very much a work in progress. One of the main issues I have at the moment, other than no turn-by-turn navigation (sorry, had to mention it), is the battery life - or lack of!
On an average weekday I use the phone to send a few texts (no more than 10), scan the news sites (no more then 20-30mins total) and catch up on my RSS feeds (again, no more than 20-30 mins total). I'm not using the media player at all and I may make one or two short calls.
Bottom line is that I'm struggling to get more than 6 hours battery life out of it. I know smart phones are thirsty, but I don't even get to listen to music on my way to or from work!Here's what I've already done to reduce battery consumption:
Removed active widgets (such as ForcaWeather) from desktops and replaced with web shortcuts.Reduced screen brightness to 2 barsDisabled GPS & Network positioningDisabled IMDisabled BluetoothI've heard some mention reducing the amount of active desktops, but I think that kinda defeats the object of having a N900. May as well buy a lesser phone if you need to strip out all the functionality to get though the day. I'd be satisfied with 8-10 hours medium use. At the moment I'm getting around 6 hours at light use - got to be something I'm missing.
Just purchased iPhone 4S and it's sucking the life out of the battery. I've read several posts to turn items off to save battery life and nothing seems to be working.

My dad tested the connection of the charger to the phone and then the battery and it showed that the battery was toast. So, I went and bought a new battery the other day and I put it in and it was only half charged and so when I got home, I plugged it in. It showed that it was charging and it had the orange light like it was supposed to. Around an hour later I looked at it again and it went back to a black screen and wont turn on, but a red light flashes when its plugged in.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI wanted to use my Blackberry, so I took it out. I pressed the back button, so my screen would show. The screen was black, so I decided to press the end call button (Red). Still, nothing seemed to light up, the screen was black. So I removed my battery, put it back in. The LED light turned red for a couple of minuets, then turned off but the screen was still black. Tried connecting it to my USB Cable to the computer + the charge cable, but both to no prevail. I then thought maybe my screen is just temporarily bugging, maybe a call would do the trick. I tried calling my phone, but it went straight to voicemail. (Meaning the phone is off). The LED light shows, so what could be the problem?

By the time I got back to a charger I noticed that it wouldn't turn on and when I plugged it into the wall, it wouldn't charge or indicate with the LED light that it was charging. I decided to pull out my battery and put it back in, and there was no results. I did the same thing but this time I plugged it into the computer, my curve was still inresponsive. I also left it plugged into a wall unit for +3 hours, when I came back, it still wasn't working.
TL;DR (too long; didn't read): My Curve won't turn on, the screen is completley black and the LED light doesn't flash or even turn on.

I'm wondering why I have to join a forum and not be able to speak with anyone from BB?! Sprint has the worst customer service reps! And as a customer for 10 years with a company that you pay your bill on time, in full, 3 lines, with insurance why I'm being given a used phone?! View 2 Replies View RelatedI've updated my BB 8900 OS a couple of days ago. It worked fine for 1 day and then it popped up with an error message that disappaered really quickly and it go into a loop.
I tried to re-install the OS 5 and the app loader recognises the BB and the PIN is showing, but when I click next it get's stuck on "connecting with device (ARM)". The only thing the BB does now is blink its red light like morse code long-fast-fast-fast-long.
I upgraded my phone to a blackberry cure 8520 about 3 weeks ago, and I haven't dropped it or anything. It has been very well taken care of. Now the screen is completely black, and its plugged in but the red light doesn't turn on and if I try to turn the phone on nothing happens (No White Screen, No Red Light, Nothing!) Just the part where the "picture" is supposed to be. I can see the zoom option and I can go to the options and everything. I notice a little symbol thats like an exclamation mark with comma sized lines all the way around it.
