When I send messages from the BB they do not appear in my outlook 07 and vice versa, is there a way to make it do this?I would also like to get all of my old message from outlook (pre BB) onto the BB for reference, is this possible?

May 21, 2010I recently bought my first Blackberry smartphone, The Blackberry Curve 8520. I was really impressed with the phone at such a cheap price since I am a teen, the 8520 is perfect for me. But I downloaded a few apps which I can use at home when theres wifi but i cannot use the Twitter, Facebook, UberTwitter apps when not at home (No wifi). Does anyone have the same problems? When i try to log in or connect without Wifi, It does not connect. And on Ubertwitter, The app keeps running but it doesnt connect to gprs/wap. Anyone have the same problems or know how to change the settings so that i can use the apps with GPRS/WAP Please give me your suggestions and/or solutions/help.

Aug 15, 2010Well i noticed when i got a call from my gf the picture came up using her fb profile pic which was always so blurred! So I remember changing it to another picture and selecting it to show up as the caller id picture and to overwrite anything that would change it.
However now , it also changes her bbm picture and it would not change even if she changes it herself now her bbm picture is stuck as well.I forgot where i went to change this overwrite picture setting...

However, in an attempt to fix the non-responsive screen I re-booted the device to factory settings (advice from EE) and restored the data from off the PC. However, it now seems to sync with my gmail account in preference to my Hotmail and as a result has duplicated all of my contacts. Where do I go to in the BB menus to change the setting back to Hotmail for the sync of organizer and mail?

Oct 16, 2014Any way to adjust the settings so you can't swipe the cover of the dot view to answer or not answer phone calls? I figured out how to turn off some of the other features I don't like (like the double tap to turn on), but so far I haven't found an option for this other then turning dot view itself off entirely. The reason I don't like it is I keep accidentally hanging up on people when I pull my phone out of my pocket with the case closed. Seems silly to me to even have that enabled. I do like the other features though, like turning on the screen when I open the case or showing caller ID through the cover.

But when I am locking the phone with not slided out keyboard, sometimes it automatically unlocks the screen because the phone thinks that I slided out my keyboard, and normally when you slide out your keyboard at locked mode and don't have any code or password it unlocks the screen.
