Blackberry has a new version but I cannot find the launcher to download the shortcut...Can anyone lead me to the new launcher???Kudos for a week to the man or woman that does.

I can see the app in the app list, but can't find the icon launcher.
I went to bb website to download, but it says unsupported. well, sorta because 8520 doesn't have gps, but why it is installed if it can't be used?
Just got the update for the new Play Store that replaced the Andriod Market and now the shortcut at the top of the app launcher is no longer working.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently had to rebuild my desktop machine, I have used v4.5 for a long, long time on my old 8320.I've searched Blackberry's web site for the old desktop software - the download section lists only the newer versions, it even has a link to find old versions, but that link doesn't actually deliver old versions that I can find. Anybody have a link to the v4.5 desktop?(I need the old version, I run backups of my phone on the old Windows 2000 machine, which newer Desktop versions don't run on.)

Please try again" and has a force close button.Hitting the Force Close causes the message to re-appear.Powering off and back on again, causes the message to re-appear.Is there a way to reset the device using the buttons (I have no menus, navigation or anything other than the message above so cant go to the config to do a factory reset).

If at all, one doesn't assign a shortcut to it, still there's an icon that is shown as default when nothing is assigned.Here's what you do...1. Download the app called vacuum.sis from the web. Now go to homescreen and press and hold to go into edit mode.4. Tap the desired location for adding the shortcut bar and select it from the list of widgets available.5. I just upgraded to an S6 from an S3. I used to visit a favorite website that allowed you to download audio content directly to phone in MP3 format. With S6, I can't seem to be able to do that. After 1 hour on CHAT with Verizon, they don't have an answer. Files are NOT stored in Tools/MyFiles.

Specifically BBC Radio 4's 'The Now Show' (part of the 'friday night comedy podcast from the BBC' listing) It seems to show up fine on my iMac and I have even added the 'subscribe' link for desktop (to make itunes boot up and grab the podcast) to my Safari reading list and thus tried from the iphone to do the same and I get 'Safari cannot open the pge because the address is invalid' (it definitely isn't as it works fine on any other mac or pc with itunes !)

Today I noticed that when I hit the mute button on the top of my phone that it no longer takes me to my media folder. I thought the button may have broken somehow, however, after locking my phone I hit the button and it unlocked it just fine. So apparently its not broken, it just up and quit taking me to my media.Is there a way to set the mute button as a shortcut again so I don't have to go through the menu button to get to my music, pics etc?

I tried turning the device language to English and then it worked OK, given that when doing this, the shortcut key for the Notepad tuns out to be the "d". However, I´m not comfortable using my device in English, as my first language is Spanish.
