url...I updated my BB Curve 3G system to 6.0 bundle 2534 now I cannot access my e-mail account manager. Nothing works:
- downgrading
- restoring backup
- system reloading
I can set an account via BIS webpage but still my gmail account does not synchronise calendar and contacts.
Thus I cannot add, modify or remove any mail accounts. I tried to download the Email utility but it does not download either.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI recieved a Blackberry message stating I needed to enter my email password on the account which I have been using. I have followed the instruction by entering setup and clicking Email Accounts. On that screen it allows to me two options Internet Mail Account & Enterprise Account. However when I try and click the Internet Mail account nothing happens, it does not let me use this option. I have tried the Enterprise Account and it says "Status: initialzing service" but nothing is happening. (been like this for 30mins)
View 2 Replies View RelatedShortly after I got my iPhone 4S, I added my gmail account to the mail app (not the gmail app),so that I could read my email on my phone, and specifically not using the Gmail app, but using the email app, and adding the Gmail account as an Exchange Server so that my Google Contacts would sync to the device. It worked for weeks. Now, suddenly, it says wrong password whenever I try to check my email. I have removed it and added it back. I did not change anything on my email account configuration that would cause this.
Since it happened, though, I have removed the account and re-added it. It seems that it would stop me from adding the account if I were using the wrong password, but it lets me add the account with no problem, and only gives the wrong password message after that, when it tries to begin downloading emails.
I have typed in the password enough times today to make sure that I am typing it in correctly. I have been able to log into my gmail account via the web successfully (proving that I do know my own password). I even downloaded and installed the gmail app and was able to use it to get to my email. But that leaves my phone with zero contacts, because I keep all my contacts in Google Contacts, and the Gmail app doesn't seem to add any contacts to the contacts list on the phone. I need it to work the way it was set up & working before today. I don't know if Apple changed something, if Google changed something, or what. I would think that there would be others using this functionality who may be similarly stuck.
So my question is: How can I access my Gmail account from my iphone and have my google contacts brought into the phone's contact list, and constantly synchronized with Google contacts, like I had going before today? With the addition of iCloud, it gets really confusing really quick. The simple solution that I was using was so nice. I will be sad if it is gone for good...

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got my blackberry curve 8520 and I tried to set up my account on my pc. I downloaded the BlackBerry App World Browser Plug-in and I was able to connect to my phone. Then as it was downloaded I lost the internet connection and it dropped the download. Ever since then I can't get my phone to "connect" and keep recieving the message"App World Web Plugin Error.An error has occurred communicating with the BlackBerry App World Web plugin. restart your device and try again." Then if I try to connect from my blackberry I get the message "Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again." This is so annoying, there is nothing at all wrong with the connection now. What can I do to fix this?

My phone isn't letting me choose between an Internet e-mail Account and an Enterprise )work related) account, so all I'm getting is an Enterprise set up, asking for an activation code. It is not a business account, not using exchange and not requiring any particular security.My BB will access an O2 e-mail account but not a particular account which I own.O2 tell me that the reason I cannot access it is that the e-mail account is set up in such a way that BB has treated it as a business account, and is applying Exchange security to its access. O2 believe that this account is registering with BES.s a consumer O2 believe my access should be through BIS. They are unable to tell me what setting at my e-mail host would cause the Blackberry servers to pick it up wrongly. They tell me the problem is outside my control. My e-mail hosts don't understand the problem either. If I could tell them what to change, they would try to do it.
So my questions are:- 1) Does anyone know if there is a setting at my hosts that would change things so that my e-mail address is treated like any other POP3 or alternatively 2) is there something that I can do in the Blackberry world that will move / recategorise my e-mail service correctly.
Anyone know how I can access my AKO account? or why I am unable to on my BB?
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to access my email accounts, I can't. I go into Setup. Click on Email Accounts. The little clock in the center of the screen show up. That's it. I'm still on the Setup main page and nothing has happened. Sometimes, it will take me to the next page, with the two options: internet mail account or enterprise account. Click on internet mail account. It does nothing. Or takes me back to the main Setup page.

A screen requesting user name and password comes up to access e-mail settings. I don't know my user name or password. I've tried various times and sometimes it comes up saying that my password is being sent to my device but I can't find where/how. In the midst of this I've had a crash and then I updated but it is still the same except my e-mail accounts are no longer sending or receiving. I can see them but they don't work so I now need to access the e-mail set up even more.?

View 5 Replies View RelatedE-mail reconciliation is not working for me with my Gmail account. When I read an e-mail on my BB, it isn't being marked as read in my Gmail. It also isn't working the other way: when I read an e-mail on my computer, my BB doesn't mark it as read.
How can I fix this? E-mail reconciliation in my options is already turned on.
I have a BlackBerry Curve 9300 and a few days ago I added a new e-mail account and synchronized my contact list with the e-mail account without realizing it. So I deleted the e-mail account so it would stop synchronizing and it didn't. Today, I deleted a contact from the e-mails contact list through the computer and since then every time I tried to open that entry the contact app freezed. Then I deleted the contact entry and now I cannot add any other contacts.

All of a sudden, my Alias mail account name is telling me that the password or account name is incorrect.So I go into SETTINGS as the button appears for it, and I hit it check all the settings and the settings are fine, nothing has changed. I have not had this problem in over 5 years! Is this a symptom of iCloud going full, taking over MobileMe? I cancelled my MM account 3 months back and have not had any problems. Why has this problems suddenly started appearing? I was looking at the mail in the ALIAS account from the alias account. Now I am looking at it through my main account, which is also reacting slowly due to this problem.

I couldn't attach multiple files from dropbox while composing emails. It opens the Downloader and shows dropbox but it only attaches one file at a time (even that failed saying can't attach empty file after repeated attempts)...
I remember you could do the same if you've your files in Google drive!!
