Nokia :: X6 Adjusting Image Size When Using Picture
Aug 25, 2010I set a photo as my background on my X6, but the image re-sizes itself so its bigger in the home screen and not all of the image appears on the screen, alot is cut off.
I cant quite figure out how to adjust the image so that it stays the same size when its used as my back ground, or how to re-adjust the image back! Its annoying because it means my pictures are limited as to what can be on my background, im having to chose really far away shots becaus they appear close up when used as a background!

Jan 27, 2014i have been very much looking forward to getting this phone for about a year and have been in ownership for about 2 months now. Ok, the issues are as follows;The camera so far has delivered nothing but bad photos ! Most of the images are slightly blurry or out of focus, and the colors not quite right.Now I know what this phone can do...yet it doesn't appear to offer much on simple 'auto everything' setting ?
I have only today found out that there is a high res secondary file saved in addition to a standard shot, when viewed through the computer explorer rather than through the phone or email....however, despite this, I have recently taken some shots last weekend which i cannot take again as they were with visiting friends...and lone behold none of them have a secondary high res copy ?!? is there any way to increase the image size and quality of these images with no secondary high res copies or are they doomed ?!

Idont want to receive large documents, just the email that goes with them and would like to keep the size limit to say 10KB. Feb 10, 2011With recent software upgrade/update, when I start to dial a number it defaults to searching Contacts, which is fine. But the display of numbers I'm dialing is so tiny I didn't see them - had to hand to my son in frustration because I didn't think it was dialing at all. He pointed out the teeny-tiny numbers being displayed below the search field. Is there a way to increase the size of the numbers being dialed? Or change default back to dialing instead of search?

Jul 8, 2010As per my other thread: What happened to my 8900 camera quality? upgraded from OS 4.6 to 5.0.0.681 i've discovered what the problem is with why I am not getting the same quality photos as on the OS 4.6 on my 8900 curve, it's the picture size in kb. on 4.6 i would at the very least always get photos of size 460kb minimum (usually i get 700kb +) whereas on 5.0.0.681 now i get on average only 180kb WHY? bear in mind i've kept all the settings on the highest possible i.e. superfine and picture on 'large' yet for some reason i'm only getting low quality pics.. it's very frustrating.I have a feeling the lighting makes a difference but also maybe the memory/space on the media card. BUT I have 120mb of memory left and 400mb of space on my media card.What makes the blackberry take pictures at lower quality in terms of size in kb and larger?so far i've managed to get 1 photo at 460kb on OS 5.0.0.681 but i dont know how or why exactly but at least i know it's capable of getting pics that large. Do I need over 500mb of media card space for it to take larger size pics?

Apr 9, 2012Recently I've bought curve 9300 - so far it looks to be the best phoned I had so far.But yesterday I finally decided to install desktop software and check some other functions of the phone. And that's when I found a problem. I haven't installed ny media card, but there's some free space showing on the built memory.I've wanted to upload a couple of multimedia files ( .mp3 - using "file" button, I'm not using Itunes, Windows media etc).I got an info that maximum allowed file size has been exceeded (I'm not sure it's excat phrase as I had to translate it from Polish). What's wrong? I'm pretty darn sure that file I wanted to upload is smaller than free space (mp3 of around 5MB).

Feb 5, 2014I have a Nokia Lumia 1020 that is rejecting the code when I enter it in the pin code box but the mayor problem is that the attempts are not wasting. It does go lower than the 9th attempt. I already tried rebooting it and factory resetting it and the phone it goes back to the 10th attempts and again it doesn't go any lower the the 9th attempt.

Feb 8, 2010My N73 worked correctly until 3 week ago,suddenly i see when i press button 2, it write 7 ! and continue whit 887734... !then i reset it by code " *#7370# " but problem not solved !i tried 3rd time but the problem was existing yet !Then I opened the keypad and clean it, and restarted again,it worked and all of keys was correct. i set a lock code, and it was working true,until yesterday. Since yesterday, it didn't work , I get my IMEI to a site, and it gives me a ten digit code that calls master code, and said if I enter this code instead of my forgotten code ( I didn't forget it,it didn't work) it will accept by phone. But when I enter the master code it says "code error" too. I tried to hardware reset , but when i hold 3,* & green buttons and turn it on, phone asks me "continue using the phone in offline mode? " (it asks since when i tried to enter deference codes for several times), and i should to answer this and press other keys instead of these 3 buttons, so it didn't work too, I opened it key pad and clean again,but it couldn't help.
