My curve is stuck playing all music in fast forward. I see others have had a similar problem in the past but no solution was posted. Clearly a software bug in the RIM (as usual), How to reset it without losing all my data ?
the media player's fast forward/rewind option is too slow.its like it forwards/rewinds @ 1sec per scroll. this is really annoying while listening to lengthy songs or other audio?
Just brought a new Nokia X6 for my wife and I have an odd problem.I can start the music player from the home screen and skip forward and backwards a track with no problems. But I can't adjust the volume. If I start playing music from the home screen and it's too loud or quiet, I have to open the music player itself before I can change the volume. This seems very odd to me, and I have googled it and looked all the way through the forums here for the X6 and no one else has mentioned it. Does that mean it's only me having this trouble? Or does everyone else not use the music player from the home screen?
Also, I noticed that I cant fast forward and rewind a track from the home screen. If I hold my finger on the Foward button for an extended period of time, the track continues playing as normal and then ether skips to the next one when I take my finger off, or all the player buttons disapear from the home screen when I take my finger off.Again, if I do this in the music player itself, the track will fast forward or rewind after a second or two holding the 'button' down. Anyone else tried this?
how to jump in time when listening to the music in media player? I tried to tap on time bar, but nothing happens. It seems like you can play and listen songs only from beginning, I don't know how to rewind or fast forward?
I have a number of older audio books and audio files that I have recorded myself using a dictaphone and added to the iTunes library and then set the info for them to be "audio book".
Since the latest software update, my iPhone 4 (and no it's not jail broken) has a) not updated the iPhone library to include or exclude audio books I add or remove from it via sync (using either playlists or the book option where you can tick the books to sync). Instead I have to search on the phone for them and then I have a number of problems with the actual playback:
1) some of the audio books only show a track length of 3 mins even though on the computer they show as their true length (over an hour).
2) on the above audio books and even on the ones that do show the right length, the second I try and fast forward, use the scrubbing bar or rewind them, it skips to the next track!
I was listening to music on my Blackberry, and leant on it. Somehow, I managed to make the music fastforward so that four seconds of the song is played in one actual second. I've tried everything to stop this, I've stopped the song, played other songs, turned the phone on and off again, and yet the same thing happens.
I really can't do without my music and I use my blackberry as an ipod, so I have no other alternative.
my motorola zoom has locked it's self in fast boot mode see bellow what it looks like on the screen --> Fastboot Starting Fastboot protocol support. It has been in this point for about 3 hours this morning how do i get it out of this or get it to boot up?
I have a Nexus 5 (Hammerhead) 32gb device, stock with no rooting. I mean, I had never done anything special on it ever.
1. Recently I started getting Google Play Store related problems, first 194 error and then couple of days back 495 (I think). After trying switching on/off, clearing cache and some other similar ways to fix this, I decided to do a factory reset
2. I backed up all my data, and followed the documented steps for factory reset. The phone got stuck on 'erasing'. After waiting for over 24 hours, I finally figured out that this 'erasing' is not going to complete, ever.
3. So I again did some research and figured that I should do a fastboot recovery. Tried that with no difference. Recovery again took me to 'erasing' screen.
4. Some more research and then I decided to flash a factory image using ADB. I was (and still am) a complete newbie, so first I figured out what was ADB and how to get to it. After completing the installation, I found out Nexus 5 factory images. There was no mention of which ones to chose, so I just picked up the latest one.
5. Having learnt my lessons, I read the flashing instructions many times and also watched some videos 3-4 times. Once I was confident that no more information was going to be had, and the phone was unlocked (fastboot oem unlock) I went ahead with the flashing. I did it step by step - bootloader, radio and they recovery image. The last one failed.
6. I did some more research and found a method which told me to unzip the last image and flash the component images one by one. I did. Success! However, the phone did not reboot by itself as the guide said it would. So I tried to boot it manually.
7. I did not get the dead android with red exclamation mark. Instead, I got an alive android with gears whirring on its tummy and back. Pressing power + vol-up button told me that this was the 'formatting /data' screen. I am unable to get past this screen. I am supposed to get to a screen where I can wipe data and cache etc. But I cannot get to it.
8. I have tried to wait it out (16 hours) and tried flashing the images again. Ultimately, I end up here.
9. I am unable to find any answers on what to do if stuck on this screen. So this is the end? Is my phone bricked? Is there anything else I can try? Will trying TWRP way useful or is that just another way to same failure?
I recently purchased a non-us atrix with Bell Mobility.Everything works well except when I tried loading it with music and playing them. The play speed is too fast so it sounds wierd.I tried using the OEM player and a few other ones (Win Amp, Power Amo) but the results are the same.Si it does not appear to be a problem with the player. In addition, when I played a video (MP4), the video plays normally, but the audio sounds similarly wierd (i.e. with high pitch as if it is played at high speed).
I say it's slight, but it is very noticeable. This does not happen with all of my music, but it is very annoying non the less. It ruins the whole listening experience.
I have nokia 5800 I am having problem with the battery it was draining fast. one on the man in nokia care told me that if ur phone is online and ur lilstening to songs then the battery is going to dry fast enough and if u switch it to offline then the battery backup will be best almost 20Hrs?
I cannot send emails as the "send" option is no longer visible, either when I have composed a new email, nor when I try and forward and email. Also, in both these two instances, when you enter a letter(s) in the "To" field, it does not connect with my "Contact" list
I had my iphone in call forwarding mode but the iphone did not have the call forward icon showing at the top of the iphone. Any ideas what caused this? I missed several calls because I did not know my iphone was forwarding messages. When I turned call forwarding off, then on again, the call forward icon showed up. Was this a one time "glitch"?
I am having problems with my Curve 8530, for some reason I cant forward email to another email address, it is not displaying the "Send" option on the menu I also noticed that before when I used to start typing an email address the phone used to give me all the names with the first few letters but I don't get that anymore. I didn't make any changes to my emails accounts.
my Blackberry Curve 8530 CANNOT compose new emails: it can reply to emails that people have sent me, it can compose emails to people whose emails I already have saved, yet if I try to "Compose Email" and enter a new address, it can only "Save Draft." Not only that, I can't email or MMS any of my photos either-- either TO a new email, or a preexisting contact/email--the only way to get them off of my phone is if I "send to Facebook," or copy them to my computer using a micro-USB cord.A battery pull has NOT worked. I've also already come across people posting on other sites about the same problem (and there seems to be a similar issue with the 8520). I've come across other websites suggesting that the problem may be to an issue with the OS (I'm currently on v5.0.0.654 Bundle 1108, Platform 4.2.0.298; I certainly haven't downloaded/installed any new Apps since this happened), and that downgrading/changing to a different OS may be necessary to fix/troubleshoot the issue, I just don't recall which website that was, nor do I know how to change the OS on my own (if I remember correctly, it just updates itself automatically, which probably would explain why this seemed to happen out of the blue).
Had my Curve for a couple of years now. In just the last couple of weeks, it's starting to drain a battery in 4 hours or so with moderate use. And it's the same whether I'm using the old or one of my new batteries, so it's obviously not the battery itself. Even if I don't use it, it'll go to red in 6-8 hours, where it used to hold a charge for a couple of days, even with heavy use. I've checked the terminals and they're clean.
I am having blackberry 9300 which is bought new 1 month back. Immediately after purchasing the same I found that battery is getting discharged after full charging. Battery is getting discharged fully with in 12 hours. I tried changing the battery but the problem still exists. I took the phone to the concerned dealer who said that there is nothing wrong in phone and returned back the same. I am located in Kuwait in middle east.

So...life up to now has been great with my 9300 but all of a sudden it is sucking battery power really fast. Can't keep a charge even 24 hours with very little phone use. Have experienced the same issue with three different batteries including a brand new one.
The blackberry curve 9300 with OS 6 is what I am using. But of late, the battery gets drained suddenly without any reason and phone becomes very hot. I don't run any other application such as FACEBOOK, TWITTER etc., except RIM services for emails.
i cant seem to load any software on my daughters phone it flashes twice then 4 times have tried reinstalling the desktop software but still cannot get the backberry to start?
