IPhone :: Its In Call Forward Mode But Call Forward Icon Not Showing On It?
May 13, 2012
I had my iphone in call forwarding mode but the iphone did not have the call forward icon showing at the top of the iphone. Any ideas what caused this? I missed several calls because I did not know my iphone was forwarding messages. When I turned call forwarding off, then on again, the call forward icon showed up. Was this a one time "glitch"?
I know that I can set up call forwarding bit can I set up symultanous ringing and forwarding. Failing that can I geo fence the call forwarding when I'm home but disable it as I go out. This would be a simple way to make up for bad indoor reception. I think it might be a cool feauture Apple.
I've look through my phone read the manual but still I can't find it. I've even done a search for it but still can't find it on the phone. If any body can assist on were to find these settings for a blackberry tourch 9850 Os 7.1
This message "Call Forward Conditional is enabled" appears everytime when making a phone call (screenshot attached). Â Looks like it is related to the setting here:Â Settings > Call Settings > Call Forwarding > "Forward when busy" or "Forward when unanswered" or "Forward when uncreachable." Â I have them set to carrier's voicemail #.
I have a number of older audio books and audio files that I have recorded myself using a dictaphone and added to the iTunes library and then set the info for them to be "audio book".
Since the latest software update, my iPhone 4 (and no it's not jail broken) has a) not updated the iPhone library to include or exclude audio books I add or remove from it via sync (using either playlists or the book option where you can tick the books to sync). Instead I have to search on the phone for them and then I have a number of problems with the actual playback:
1) some of the audio books only show a track length of 3 mins even though on the computer they show as their true length (over an hour).
2) on the above audio books and even on the ones that do show the right length, the second I try and fast forward, use the scrubbing bar or rewind them, it skips to the next track!
I've been using my Nokia C5-00 for about a year now without any problems. Recently however, it started to show wrong time (like it was going too fast). The offset is usually about 15-30 minutes forward. Initially I thought that its just few seconds per minute faster than it should be (like a normal mechanism watch) and I tried to explain it with processor clock being somehow off, but I noticed that it must at one point just skip these several minutes.
I've never spotted this "skipping" explicitly but it happens once per 10-15 hours, I guess. E.g. it shows proper time the whole day and when I go to sleep but next morning its off several minutes. It happens both with automatic time update On and Off. I haven't updated my software for a couple of months now, but the one I got is up to date (according to Ovi).
On my nexus I have a problem I did not find a solution for so far:
When I turn on call-forwarding I can see the call-forwarding icon on the notification area.
If I then turn off the phone and turn it back on again, the call forwarding is still on obviously (it's on the carrier level) but the icon does not show it.
I keep forgetting the call-forwarding is on and i lose calls. Is it a known bug? Anything I can do about it?
Using 9700 on Vodafone UK - Software Version 5.0.0.423..This has happened a few times now. At first I thought it was just me not reading the screen properly. And it only happens now and again.
What happens is that sometimes when I get a call the screen shows the last callers details as if they were ringing again - but it is someone else. When I hang up the call or if I miss the call - the details then show the correct persons details - weird.
If I pull the battery out it all works fine then for a week or two and then starts happening again. It is not a big deal or anything - just a bit strange.
I tried to forward calls from my iPhone 6 iOS 8.1.1 to a number of different devices but when I entered the 'destination' number the phone would not accept anything. After a lot of calls, an hour with an Apple genius in store, an hour in EE store, more calls to EE tech. Only to be told there is an issue with EE and the iphone6 that makes this important very usefull feature unavailable.Â
The forward arrow is mission in the bottom of my text message options, the entire bottom of screen is blank when you select the message and hit more....doesn't give you any options after you hit more was in my old i phone
I've had iPhones from day one.Yahoo push email never really worked that good for me and a lot of others.I hear Gmail pushes email to the iphone great.I have a gmail account but I don't want to tell everyone I changed my email from yahoo to gmail.Isn't there a way where I can forward my yahoo email to gmail and set up my gmail account to push to my phone? So if I get an email on my yahoo account, I will get it pushed on my gmail on my iphone 4.Is this possible?I don't have a premium yahoo account, just the free one.
Some of the events in my calendar have been moved one day ahead of where they should be, including birthdays. This is only happening on my iPhone - my iPad and Mac both display the correct dates. On the contacts app in iPhone, for instance, it could have a contact's correct birthday (e.g., 22 June 1987), but then on the calendar app it will display the birthday as 21 June, not 22. I noticed it beginning to happen when I updated to iOS 5.1
For the past several weeks our organizations has experienced calendar appointments shifting a day forward. We are only seeing this for multi-day appointments for example....an appointment for Tuesday & Wednesday from 1pm - 4pm will shift to Wed - Thursday and become an all day event. This is only happening with Apple devices with most of our executives.
Is it possible to auto-forward text messages (SMS) on iPhone 4? I have an iPhone for personal use and a company issued iPhone for work. So not to have to carry both phones, I have forwarded the incoming calls from the personal phone to the work phone, but I have not been able to find a way to auto-forward the text messages received on the personal iPhone to the work iPhone.
I use Exchange at work and I receive lots of meeting invitations, some of them I need to forward to one my team members to attend on my behalf, or I need to extend this invitation to people I see relevant to the topic. There is no menu item or a button as "Forward". I need to know how to forward a received meeting invitation to someone else that they will receive it as an invitation and not a regular email
The voice message is actually a recorded conference call. The response from iOS is the file is too large. We would like to keep the entire message. There are alternative functional means allowable.
Since iOS is UNIX based, my thoughts would be getting into a file format, getting it to a server, and treating the content as a large file
I've been a Mac addict for 27 years but am a brand new iPhone owner. Is there a way to forward or save text messages that go to or from my iPhone to my computer? My phone is not always on, but I'm tied to my email. Also, I often need a record of text messages and would like a way to preserve them.
