I am getting tones of requests from people I don't know on blackberry messanger.I tried to delete it off my phone and then they started showing up in mt test messages.How do I make this stop?

View 7 Replies View RelatedMy PIN seems to have got out into the public domain and I have received 20+ PIN requests today from users who I do not know and have no intention of accepting. Some I have deleted, others I have ignored, but they are still coming through. I haven't published my PIN in any public forum (facebook for example) and only actually have about 12 BB messenger contacts so have no idea why this has happened. One has got through and I cannot delete the contact from my list (I have the pin so will happily provide it as I have no idea who it is) The names of the users seem to be odd characters and graphics. block new PIN requests (I have tried via the firewall but it hasn't stopped it) and how to delete the mysterious contact (as I write this a request has come through!)

After reading previous posts I have tried blocking the requests through the firewall but this just seems to block actual messages and not the requests as I am still receiving them.Is there another way that the adds can be stopped, its really annoying and even more so when I leave my phone for a while and then have to sit and block all the adds from adding me again.

I get a Kerrklunk Klink noise whenever the screen lights up on my Nexus 5 ,before I unlock the screen. Also periodically in the background during calls and when using navigation. Tried to find the answer on forums etc ( NFC is off) and scoured my apps but it's still there. It's a sound nowhere on my list of notification sounds btw

When I send my friends a request by typing there pin they do not get it , but it comes up 'Pending' beside there pin and when they send a request to me I don't get it and it comes up 'Pending' on there screen beside my pin , it is definitely not there bbm because they have got lots of other friends on bbm !
