I bought a new blackberry and have not configured edge network on it yet.
Suddenly my Message and SMS window has stopped opening. TrackPad and buttons are working good with other options but problem persists only with Message and SMS window.
how I resolve the following issue. When opening a new web page I get the message - Window limit reached - can't open a new window until you close one.Honestly, I have only had this phone less than two weeks and I want to throw it against a brick wall!

View 11 Replies View RelatedI keep trying to update my Kies, as it demands, but all it does is repeatedly open half a license agreement window. I cannot move around the window and I cannot get to and tick where it is presumably asking me to 'agree'. All I can think of doing is uninstalling Kies and reinstalling the presumably new version. Will this cause any problems?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently updated my Curve 9300 to the 6.6.0.207 OS and since then whenever I recieve a text message and I click to open it up it will open my previous text message, and it will do this multipul times, however it doesn't seem to do this every time, it appears to be when I haven't replied to the previous message (But even then that's not always the case)Any ideas why this is happening?

This is a problem my co-worker is having; on my phone it's fine. Look at the attached screenshot:
The "selfie" window shows up small rather than full screen. The normal back-facing camera is fine.
A friend showed me that while a text message window is open, I can tap the screen near the time, and an option will come up which allows me to call that contact. My daughter and I both have iPhone 4s's, but for some reason, when I tap the screen near the time while texting her, the option to call her does NOT appear. The only choices are "Email, Contact Info and Load Earlier Messages". I have deleted her contact info and recreated it, and it still is the same.

I just want to know if there is a way that I can open my text message "inbox" without haivng to open a new text message that I have. I used to have a droid. When I clicked on the message icon, it would open to the full inbox, just not the conversation with the new text message. I want to know if there is a way I can do this with my iPhone as well.

After downloading Foursquare and on rebooting, I got the following error message "The application Foursquare has attempted to open a file connection which is not allowed by the application's permissions". On clicking OK, it switches to another alert screen whose contents aren't visible and then it returns to the same message above. I can't use the phone now. Tried removing and reinstalling the battery but the same problem persists.

I have switched on mass storage mode, all my pictures and such are saved to my memory card. I have installed the blackberry desktop manager and my PC still does not recognize my Blackberry. It just starts to charge and go on the clock face. My Blackberry is the V4,6.1.314..So, basically whenever I connect my Blackberry to my computer it just starts to charge!

I've tried:
- Closing my applications.
- Battery reboot.
- Looking for an update (there is none).
- Exchanged the phone.
I have a Curve 9300 when I connect the phone to the pc a window pop up asking me for a password, I assume is the same as I used for locking the phone but it is not. So I have to type the password 10 times before it restart my device and erase everything. Also the phone is searching for network all the time.

1- when i opened the gallery and songs the device gave me the message "searching for music and podcasts" so i waited but the message has been for the last 3 hours.

There is an attachment which cannot be opened which is a winmail. dat file.To my knowledge, I have not done anything to stop the attachments opening!I upgraded to Version 5 of the software in the hope that this would resolve the problem, but it did not. I can however open .jpg files.I synchronise with Outlook which is still working normally and I can see the attachments OK in Outlook.
