im not sure what is up with my blackberry, latley i have not made any changes to the phone, but the waiting clock icon keeps coming up a lot and the battery is not even lasting me a day, and it used to last all day with tons to spare!

How would i determine what is causing battery power loss. The phone is 3 months old and within the last 2 days only has battery power for 6 hours. Is there an easy way to determine what applications are running without having to check each one. I have tried resetting the factory settings,but it indicates that there is an application or call that needs to be closed. There is definitely no call running so it has to be an application.

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently just bought the XPRT and I love it! Fast phone with a sweet keyboard. I am using the phone in Australia so I am using the GMS/UMTS network mode.
I like to turn my phone off at night to conserve battery power as I often forget to recharge my phone. However, when I turn my phone back on it restores the Sprint network mode and turns on all the network guards and turns data connections off. So having to change all this again each time is slightly annoying so I have just been leaving my phone on at night.
Is there a way to save these settings so I can turn my phone off at night? Or do I have to leave my phone on?
I have owned my Electrify for about 4 or 5 months now. I have a nice Otter box on the outside to protext the phone. Honestly never dropped. I love this phone but now during the power cycle that it does once a day, it freezes up on starting up. I have to pull the battery to get it to start back up. I haven't done a factory data reset or anything with it yet. I would like to get feedback before I waste my time and data doing so.

I finally broke down and installed the Atrix HD update yesterday. What a mistake. Prior to installing the update, I could drive from home to work and have the battery drop from 100% to 95% in about 20 minutes or so (which, is terrible as well). Today after installing the update my battery went from 100% to 87% in the same 20 minutes. I can't believe that an update that was presented good for battery life actually makes it worse! I can say however, that the performance of the phone is better (touch responses, less laggy, etc, but I am sure that is at the cost of battery life). Other than a hard reset is there anyway to get this update off of the the phone?

have a curve 3g leass than 6months old however the battery is just draining way too quickly since last 10-15days.
Also the OS hangs from time to time. The phone is revived only i remove the battery and out it back afterwhich battery shows as red, External Apps installed : Whatsapp, Quickpull and foursquare
Recently i have noticed my blackberry battery draining quickly (from fully charged) and only lasting roughly 5/6 hours,not even lasting a full day. The battery has only just started draining this quickly as since i got it (november 2011) as it was a replacement it would last roughly 1 and a half days without charging. I mainly use my phone for bbm,calling,texting and internet. And i close down any active applications that doesnt need to be open.

I've deleted lots of apps etc I don't use to try and help, and I make sure I properly close everything down so it's not running in the background etc. Even if I put it on standby mode the battery has usually drained by about 1pm even though it's been fully charged.Me and my fiance have the same phone so I've tried his battery/charger etc. If I use his fully charged battery the same thing was happening. On saturday though, it just will not charge at all. A red light comes on and goes and that's it. If I use a fully charged battery it will still last a few hours, but I can't charge it myself.It's a bit of a nightmare as my fiance had emergency surgery last night so we need to both have working phones so he can contact me from the hospital if he needs to, and I need to take his phone home to charge at night, but it's leaving me without a working phone.
