Iphone works so good till it goes to Sleep Mode or till i will press Power button...it just freezing.. black display.. and nothing help.. only Hard reset.. It started after updating to 5.1.1. I` ve tried to update again-doesn`t help.. restart-also doesn`t help..

Phone was working fine, then started to not go to sleep when I pressed the power button. It also frequently posts a message informing me about how to restart the phone using the power and volume buttons. It only goes away if I press the volume up or down.
How to prevent it. I tried a hard reset but have had no success with it.
Have just updated to lollipop on my Z2. But now the phone's backlight stays on unless I press the power button. Sleep mode is set to 30 seconds.

1) Cannot seem to update/install Apps - It just sits there acting like it is updating, the status bar scrolls, but nothing gets updated (or installed). As an example, I tried updating Facebook through the Google Play Store - My Apps option, sat for 10 minutes, and it never updated (but it still says I need an update). This is true for a large number of Apps that I have. I tried to install Helium so I could back up before a factory reset, and the same thing happened. It never installed.
2) Network vs. Wifi - At home, I use my Wifi connection, and I noticed that both the Wifi signal indicator and the Network Signal indicator display. I know this did not occur on the S4 (with Android. 4.4.4). Is this normal behavior for Lollipop to display both Wifi and Network connectivity?
3) Can't find a microphone for Speech-to-Text messaging on either the LG or Google keyboards. I saw one article that shows it is in the predictive text field area, but it isn't appearing on mine. - Actually - I just resolved this - it is hidden under the settings icon on the LG keyboard. I had to long press the icon for it to display.
4) No Silent Mode from the Long Press of the Power Button.
I press the slepp butten and when i tried to use it again it won't turn on.

From a past few weeks m encountering a problem with my lock sleep/wake button, its VERY hard to press. So i am looking for help regarding this... will this be covered under my warranty? will it be repaired or replaced free of cost?ps. i hv a jailbroken phone wch means i m not eligible for the warranty ,so if i reset the phone will it be eligible again? what about the lock thingy?

I am having trouble to restart my iphone 4, I have tried to Press and hold the sleep/wake button and the home button for more than one minute, but it is not doing anything. It is at full battery because I just finished charging it. I have called my phone from home phone, it is not responding on iphone but I can hear ringing from home phone and it went into voicemail after a while. My iphone is frozen. It is frozen during updating to the new software but disconnected from computer by accident. Right now it is not doing anything it is just a black screen.

I've searched and am struggling to find much on these. What do they do, and how are they different?
According to HTC: Note: IfData connection is selected, HTC One automatically disconnects from the mobile network after 15 minutes when the screen is off and the data connection is idle (no download activity, streaming, or data usage). It reconnects and then disconnects periodically when the data connection is idle to save battery power.
Do these affect mobile data, Wifi, or both? Do they affect anything else?
I've left these off because I don't know how they work, and am getting fairly short battery life (10 to 15 hours, depending on use).
Does anyone else have this "problem"? The power button feels loose and when you shake the phone you can hear it rattling. Is there any way it could be fixed? To make it more firm?

I was wondering what you guys did when your iPhone's sleep/power button was frozen. Mine still works, but it is very difficult to use. I have to hit it a few times for it to actually turn off. It is very difficult, and it acts like it is stuck or jammed.

I updated to 2.1 a while ago, but today I plugged it up to the computer and it said there was an update available. So I updated, and now my phone will not turn on. When I press the power button, the light just flashes red 3 times. I can do anything with it on the computer, becuase the computer won't recognize it while it's off.

Last week my sleep wake button mysteriously stopped working. For a time it would work with every 5th or 6th press, but now it doesn't work at all. So for the past week I've had to forgo the use of the sleep/wake button, which means that when I'm done using my phone I had to put it into my pocket and hope I didn't hit anything until it shut itself off.
It's been manageable, but I have dreaded the day that my iPhone froze or anything, because I have effectively no way to restart the the device. Turns out that day was this evening - it froze while I was in Gmail, and I was unable to do anything. Home button was non-responsive - basically the whole OS locked up. Now obviously if I had a working sleep/wake button I could have probably held down both that and the home screen and forced the iPhone to restart - clearly I don't have that option in this case...
Worse yet, I decided to try to fix my sleep/wake button, so I took my phone apart. I wasn't able to really figure out what was going on with the sleep/wake button, and while I had the case cracked open it died. Once I got everything plugged in again, the phone turned back on, and sat at the Apple logo screen for a long time, after which it superimposed a spinning wheel over top of the logo. Truth be told, I don't think that disconnecting the screen had anything to do with the spinning wheel, I think it's a result of the OS completely locking up (the likes of which I've never seen the iPhone do before... so something in the OS must have become corrupted... at least that's my theory anyway).
It has been/continues to be stuck in this loop. I'm not sure whether letting the device die and naturally resetting itself will do the trick. I'm leaning towards the idea that it probably won't help the situation. I have not yet tried to do a restore, because I'm worried that it won't work, and then I'll lose my backup as well.
So yah... does anyone know how to force the iPhone into DFU mode without the sleep/wake button?
What's the difference and if I have both on does it cancel out the other? I had both on before and my phone never turned off the data connection.

It took me over 3 h to understand that.when i press the power button to unlock or lock to sleep mode my phone (2 to 3 times ) switching off. I did that a lot but nothing happens.So i decided to re installing the 2.1 update using PC companion. It helps,, everything was ok for one day.. About the screen-saver, I can, for example, put it as a digital clock, and set a timer for when the phone to switch to screen-saver mode. Problem is, I don't seem to find anywhere an option to play with the sleep mode - no matter what, about 10 seconds after the screen saver goes active, the screen goes totally black (goes into sleep mode) and I need to press a button to wake it up. No digital clock display, no nothing.I need to be able to see the clock (and possibly an icon for missed calls/new texts) without having to touch a button. My phone went out of battery and it turned off. So i plug the charger in and waited for it to restart. After restarting it, I realize there are several settings that ran away IE: My ringtone preferences and keyboard preferences. So far, I've already readjust it, But ever since the phone restarted like that, I can no longer lock my screen, not even if it times out itself after 15 seconds. and when i press and hold the power off button, instead of showing the menu for options like "Silent phone"/Flight mode"/"Shut down" it only shows power off. What can i do to get the original settings back ?

I have to press it at just the right angle and in just the right spot in order to get it to turn on or off the screen / tablet. The volume buttons make a slight clicking noise and are much easier to press so I was wondering if the power button should also move easier and make a slight clicking sound or if all the tablets have a power button that's hard to get to register?
