Jun 1, 2012My BB curve 9320 is getting very hot at the back when i use it specialy when i play game or spend time on facebook or internet and its a brand new one what should i do?

Jul 17, 2011I updated my blackberry software overnight on my device (curve 9330) and when I woke up in the morning there was a constant white screen with a little diagram and 561 error message underneath. I followed the instructions to update the device software on my desktop and had the latest version (6.1.0.35).The device does not connect to the PC at all and a battery reset on the device did not help.It is frozen with the white 561 error message screen.

I was playing around with it and liked the view and some of the features that the new software has available (mainly the new clock that has 'bedside' options for use as an alarm clock and the look of the icons.). Jul 4, 2012I have a 9360 with Virgin Mobile. Yesterday, I changed my number as we are moving across the country.
The Virgin Mobile rep advised that I should take out the battery and sim card, and put them back a few minutes after, so that the device would "register" under the new phone number.
I did so, and the BB powered up...only to then prompt me to enter my BBID password. I tried a few times unsuccessfully, then realized that I had never registered a BBID. So, I went on the BB website and registered a BBID and PW for the same e-mail.
Tried THAT PW but it still did not work. I don't want to wipe the unit since there are lots of pics, etc., on it. Does a changed BBID take a few hours to register? My other fear is that the the BB isn't even on a network, and hence, how could it "check" my BBID?
Finally, when I hit the "forgot password" prompt on the BB, it tells me that I haven't set up a BBID (which I have).

Jun 6, 2010My Curve 8900 has started to lock on it's own. Sometimes it happens when I'm typing an email or text, sometimes it happens when I'm waiting for a browser page to upload. Initially I thought it might be a particular keystroke I was hitting but it has happened when I'm simply holding the device and not typing at all. Mar 11, 2010I am curious about BB Desktop Manager 5.0. My Curve 8310 came with BB Tools but it is version 4.3. I downloaded 5.0 from BB website and when I plugged in my 8310 with software version 4.5.0.153 it displayed about a dozen updates to my phone. I declined the updates for now because I didnt want to hack up my phone. Is it ok to update with the 5.0 version or should I stick to the 4.3?

Feb 2, 2011The Bluetooth on the my Blackberry Curve 9300 was working fine until recently. I am unable to pair my Blackberry with a Car Multi-media Kit (part of a McIntosh Sat Nav/Stereo system in a Subaru).I have tried both "Search" and "Listen" under the Bluetooth Options menu and get the following respective messages "No new device found" and "No device paired".
I recently deleted the previously paired Car Multi-media Kit (as it stopped connecting for some reason) but I am not sure if this is cause of the problem.There is no issue with the bluetooth in the Car Multi-media Kit as I was able to pair separately both an Iphone and an Ipod.

Feb 9, 2011I recently upgraded to OS 6 on my Curve 9300 3g, (on the advice of a BB rep) and ever since my device memory has been low. When it was on OS5 it had about 90mb of free memory, now even after a reboot I' m lucky to have between 30 to 34mb. Now Web pages close unexpectedly and cannot use the tabbed browsing at all. I only a couple of small apps left on the device as I have deleted most of them already. I upgraded the OS using the desktop software, and all seemed to have worked OK. Have I missed something?, was there install files I should have cleared?
