My bb for somereason i don't understand delaying the messages i send ....
I txt someone and it shows the check mark on the side to tell me is send but the person only receives after 30 min or so
I have 8330 and lately I haven't been getting my texts for hours 2 at most but idk why its doing that. I can be in mid conversation ad then not hear back from them for like 30 to an hour and they think I'm ignoring them. The time stamp shows when they sent and when I received what do I do to stop this.

Since the most recent software update, I've noticed that when sending a message with a picture attached, it'll be marked as 'sending' and not budge, with the recipient eventually receiving it a week later.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a little problem, if we can consider this a problem. When i receave a SMS from a friend X, my Blackberry lag (the screen doesn't change, for like 0.5 sec). But when I receave a SMS from let's say Y, it can take up to 5 to 10 seconds before the screen move or I can move with the track pad to see the message. It's annoying.
So here is what I think, Is this because.. :
- I have over 35 000 SMS in the DB ?
- I have like 100 SMS from X and 5000 from Y ?
- My phone is on the vibrator but for Y he has a music ?
- Is this OS 5 ? But he is faster then OS 4 and I updated a while ago ?

Having reliability problems with SMS/MMS on 920? I would say right now the failure rate on MMS is roughly 80% and SMS is around 20%. I'm also noticing some seriously delay in some incoming SMS's (up to 20 minutes). It's 2012 and it's Nokia we are talking about... How can they possibly release a phone that struggles with the most basic of mobile phone tasks? I get that Nokia didn't receive WP8 until a few weeks before the device was released, but, I feel like I'm using a phone built with alpha/beta code.

When I receive a text message that is 2 messages in length of longer, they each come in separately and about five minutes apart. So if I get a text that is 4 messages long, it will take 20 minutes to get the whole message.

I can recieve all my text messages (as far as I know) but cant send them.The mobile numbers are correct, so that wouldnt be the issue. My BBM was working fine before the number was transferred accross, but now if I send a message, a tick appears to say its been sent, but there is no 'D' to say delivered, and the recipient doesn't recieve it.
Are there any phone numbers or email addresses I could use to talk to someone about this? Or are these forums the only way to get support?
Whenever i send a text message using my phone it does not go through though am able to receive messages sent to me.

However, she has the correct number in her contact list and has also tried to reply to a received text from the friend but gets the same message. I have the same number in my BB Bold 9700 and she is able to send messages successfully from my phone. She has also re-saved the number of her contact but still no luck. This is the only number she has problems with.

View 18 Replies View RelatedMy wife has a 16GB Galaxy S6 with basic clamshell case while my son has a 32GB Galaxy S6 which is entirely enclosed in an Otterbox Defender case.
From the same location (the classrooom she teaches in) I can receive a text message from my son BUT NOT my wife. The reception in her classroom is spotty at best. Only when she moves to a location with better reception is her phone able to actually transmit the text messages (sometimes I receive messages from her hours later when she leaves school).
why one S6 has no issue while the other does? We are all using the stock messaging app.

Anyone know how I sort this problem out?I need my emails for work, so it's not very good! On a separate issue, when I use blackberry messenger, often I can not read what I am typing. I just is blank, but i can carry on typing and when I send whatever I have typed appears. View 5 Replies View RelatedMultiple times throught the day my BB wil have a little time clock icon that shows up and while it's there the phone is delayed and I can't do anything with it until it goes away. I found a thread that suggested that I make sure I check all my running apps, which I did and shut down all but the defaults and the icon would still pop up. Is anyone else having this problem or know of a solution to this?

I recently purchaed a Motorola MB200 and just noticed that the phone is sending SMS messages to number 122 by itself. For every text I am being charged $0.20 and it is getting annyoing since this happens every 5 minutes. I have gone to the settings and did a factory default but this still happens! This leads me to beleive that there is something hidden on the phone that came from the manufacture that is causing this the happen.

Is there an app that could trick the phone to use wifi and 3G service to I can send text messages. I don't have any service at my house and using the home phone for calls is fine, but I hate when I leave the house and I get 10 messages from the past couple of hours.
