View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently got a blackberry curve 8520 contracted with virgin media, with my package I get free BBM/ email services free. However both services haven't worked in 4 weeks. I cannot connect to any servers and error code (65), whatever it means, pops up every time I try to log into Windows Live Messenger. I have re-sent registration messages, as instructed by the troubleshooting manual, which have been successful each time.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI updated my phone the other day with the v5.0.0.734 OS. It wiped out everything. I had to go back and restore my contacts, reload ringtones and apps, etc. Got everything back the way it was now.
I have three email accounts synced to it. All are active, Wi-fi on, network on. New mail isn't showing up on my handset, only from my gmail account, the hotmails aren't showing up. Used to be you could look in the folder for each email account and see what emails were there, then there was one folder that showed all of them. What am I missing?
My friend has the Curve 8530 on Verizon and OS 5.0.0.508. She has the data package, which Verizon requires, but does not have any data or e-mail accessability on her Curve. She has done battery pulls, resent routing tables, and gone in to the store. Each time she goes in they tell her it is a software issue and that there is not an update yet. Is anyone else having this issue? Are they just pulling her leg because they have no clue?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've read through the forums as best I could, deleted anything that had "vvm" in the /java folder, tried changing the "required" fields from true to false in the .alx file, and yet the visual voice mail is still there on my phone. Here's a screenie of my BBSAK "read system," showing that there is nothing with VVM on my phone, yet visual voice mail is still there, despite several restarts and different fixes. I'm running a T-Mobile Curve 8520 with .592.
View 9 Replies View Relatedmy Yahoo Mail icon decided to go missing (again) after I did a battery pull. Normally, I can resend service books once or twice and it'll pop back up. This time, however, no such luck. I've resent services books (around 20 times or more). I've deleted service books all together and then resent them. I've deleted the email all together and readded it. I've tried with another Yahoo address. Nothing is able to bring back my beloved icon. Does anyone else have any ideas as to how to bring it back? I really hate the mail icon with the little globe and I'm pretty sure I'd do whatever it takes to get my Yahoo icon back.

View 6 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to keep the voice mail messages from appearing in both text message and message locations? The blackberry keeps duplicating messages in the message folder as well as the text message location, which means listening to the message, then deleting the message from voice mail. Then deleting the message alert from the message location as well as the text message location.

It happened once right after i fully charged my phone and it shut off within the next hour.Anyone knows whats happening?? i suspected whether it was any of my installed apps that are draining my batt, so i shut off everything! i mean no msn no foursquare no twitter only emails are on but yet it still happens!!Help please? i hope its just the batt thats screwed not my phone.
View 7 Replies View RelatedAs I received my BB, I started the email application. The BB proposed an update of this application and I accepted. As far as I remember, during the update process, I was proposed to replace the email app by a "setup_email..." app or a stuff like that. Now, I can't set up any email account because the terminal bugs when I try to open the email set up function. Then, the screen is blocked and I'm forced to shut down the terminal with the on/off button.I already tried to update the whole OS from 5 to 6.0.0.576 with BB Desktop Manager but the problem remains. For your information, and if it may help, I just see that the email setup application (6.11.0419.0755) is located after the games in the application list of the BB Desktop Manager.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to figure how-to configure and use e-mail without using BES.I checked with the local telco. And the number is not ascociated with any BES service. The services entry show no indication in that direction. Moreover, the SIM card config show that everything is disabled. Meaning that the phone is unlocked. At least that is my understanding. However, even after a wipe, the BB device does not allow me to configure an e-mail account as described in the manual. It keeps on asking for a BES activation first
