BB Curve :: Cannot Open The Browser
Feb 27, 2011I could open my browser as well as files and apps that connect directly to the internet. Now this morning, I tried opening my browser or any of those files and apps to the internet, and they won't open! I keep pushing the button to get them to open, but I can't get anything to open in regards to the internet. I do have the unlimited data plan with Verizon and I did just recently pay my monthly bill, so no problems of payment. I can open the other apps just fine and I can even get emails too. But when it comes to direct connect to the internet, I can't get on!

Jan 25, 2010i've never had this problem until recently. i'll go to Internet's mobile site, perform search, etc. and when i go to click on the video, nothing happens. the browser doesn't open the media player at all. i've tried with my native browser and evn with opera mini, which ultimately requires the native browser anyway. i don't remember changing any particular settings on my browser so i couldn't imagine why i would have this issue. any help would be appreciated. just to reiterate, i don't even so much as an error message. nothing happens at all when i try to play the video. it just stays on the same page.

( I do not have data plan) But Browser would not open. and leaves a message "your device does not currently have any Browser Configuration Serive Book entries". I've tried going to rogers and fido and all, but they all suggests me to go call them instead. When I pull the battery, re-install, and re-boot the icon will work and I will be able to access the internet exactly one time! The second time following a battery removal re-boot when I try to access the internet via pushing the icon, it doesn't work.

"The application browser (process com.android.browser) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"....."force close" button appears.
I also tried this in "safe mode" with the same error. I also tried with "wi-fi" on and "wi-fi" off. No difference.
Just writing this post, when the phone went to sleep and I tried to turn it back on.....it wouldn't do anything (not responding). Once it did turn on to the "locked screen" window, the screen would not unlock or even respond. A few minutes later, it decided to react.....still in safe mode, too.
