I am trying to send data from different sources to my handset. But i dnt know why it is not receving and is showing an error that the system is not supporting at the sending device. I have tried to pairing the device which is succesfully done but somehow the hanset is not collecting data. I have 8520 curve.
and it is draining my battery! My phone is just sitting beside me, not receiving any emails or texts and it isn't loading an internet page, so I don't know what it is doing. My battery is dying before 11:00 AM which shouldn't happen.
My blackberry curve 9360 constantly has the data arrow in the top right hand corner flashing, even though I have not sent anything. The blackberry logo that is also normally there is disappearing and reappearing constantly as well.I am not able to send nor receive messages.I have tried rebooting and removing the battery several times, however this has not worked.
My Blackberry 8520 will not access data unless it's connected to Wi-Fi. Even then it will not send MMS messages. I have a Blackberry data plan and am in accessible areas, so something must be wrong.
I have a 4 month old iPhone 5S and for some reason I'm not able to receive texts and photos from my friends who have Android phones. The only time I receive them is when I turn my data on. I have a very limited data plan and I would prefer to only turn it on in the case of an emergency, not to receive texts from friends. As of now, it seems that my phone is perfectly able to send texts to them, I just can't receive them.Â
My wife is on a school trip to the US. Meanwhile, I am at home in Canada. I am texting her, but I found it odd she never replies and vice versa. So, she discovered that her iPhone (latest iOS 5 release) keeps trying to send the message as an iMessage. It is not reverting to SMS after a given time, as it should and as I have seen it do before. I have tried it now also and my wife only receives my messages when she has a wifi connection (she does not have data roaming enabled). It seems like my iPhone too continously tries to send the message as an iMessage and it does not switch to SMS after a certain timeout time. The message that the iPhone continously tries to send as an iMessage never fails, however the status does not change until the next time my wife is in wifi coverage and the message is delivered.
have set up yahoo email account on my blackberry curve 9300 but am not receiving any emails (although 1 or 2 emails do get through - vast majority don't). Also have noticed that the yahoo email icon appears to be greyed out?
Its a curve 9300, it also wont do outgoing calls but it gets incoming calls, the texts came in a couple minutes ago but they arent coming in again now..
For the second day in a row, I have not received any email to my handset. I've taken the battery out, I've also deleted the email accout off my phone, and then reinstalled it.
I am having a strange recurring email. At first it was only happening once a year so it was no big deal. Over the last few months it has been happening daily. I am getting an email via LinkedIn that someone has given me a recommendaion on my Blackberry every day. It appears to be sent to my yahoo email, but is not showing up in my yahoo inbox. It is only showing up on my Blackberry. I have contacted LinkedIn and they say it is not coming from them. I contacted Synnex, (the company apparently sending the email) and they said it is not coming from them. The fact that it is only showing up on my Blackberry indicates it is something on the BB servers.
A few weeks ago me and my friend switched batterys and took our sim cards out because her battery was dead. Since we did this I haven't been receiveing any emails. And the email icon has disappeared. After reading other posts I have tried going into my email settings and it says "A new BlackBerry device has been detected. You must move your email accounts to recieve email on this device. To move an email account, you will need to type the email account password. Atleast on email account must be moved to set up email on this device."It then asks me to put my email adress password in, but when I do it says that it is invalid. Please help as I have no idea what to do!
For some reason I am only receiving a portion of my emails on my 8330 blackberry curve. I have had my carrier's support desk (Verizon) walk me through procedures to make sure I am capable of receiving these messages (which I am receiving on my computer, but not all show up on the blackberry).........and now I am hearing from Verizon that I need to contact Blackberry support. Is there a # to call? I don't know where to start. I can see on the Blackberry email setup icon that I have my verizon email address listed there with the correct password (and again, I am receiving some messages, just not all). Am I missing something here? p.s. Also, I can't tell a difference between the emails that show up and those that do not...it's not like it's all the 'gmail and yahoo' messages that I don't receive, for instance...seems to be random.
I bank with a bank that uses a new form of security. Whenever you need to make transactions it sends a message to your phone where you have to accept or reject it but whenever I get this message my phone freezes and then gives me the App200 error and resets itself.
This question may have already been answered, but I can not find the answer. My son-in-law just received his new BB 8500. This weekend we were all setting up our BBM through wi-fi and everything was working great except he can not receive messages from my daughter. He can send and receive to everyone in his contact list except her. She has deleted and re added him to her contacts several time, both by email and by pin. The both show up on each others contact list but he can not get her messages but he can send to her. She has been able to send to everyone except him. We searched for hours online for an answer but have come up with nothing.
10 days ago, I downloaded the update of the BBM, as I was notified by App World. Since I updated the BBM I can not send or receive messages, this update is a disaster, Due to the fact that I'm traveling, I do not have the roaming services and have been using BB services via WIFI and Now I canīt connect to the BBM at all.I need help because I am very upset with this update. My Blackberry is the CURVE 9300.I have uninstalled the BBM and then re installed it, but it still does not work After reading the comments on this update I realized that everyone is complaining.
My old BB 9300 became faulty so i returned & recieved new BB 9300 yesterday. I set up my email (hotmail) and recieved notification that it was regiesterd but no emails have arrived but my inbox has 23. I can send email from BB
After initial setup, I'm able to receive SOME, but not all, e-mails on my BB Curve 8530. The others not received on my BB DO appear in Outlook 2007. I can't seem to identify any difference between those e-mails I receive on the BB and those I don't. On the recommendation of my web hosting company, I'm using their IMAP server. POP3 remains an option too. I have completed the registration and reconciliation processes. I've consulted with my web hosting company, and with both Verizon Wireless and RIM;
Every minute or so I get 'BlackBerry message and memory and SIM card are full! delete some SMS messages.' appear on my screen, I have deleted all my messages but its still appearing and people have been sending me texts but I havent recieved them..
I've had my BB for around a year and about a week ago, I got a message saying I needed to verify my BB details to keep receiving email. I haven't been well and among everything else I just forgot about it.Anyway, I realised a couple of days ago that my emails had stopped coming through, so I went to my email set up options and it gave me the option to log in to my device. I filled all my details and hit 'log in' but it refuses to register that I've typed in my username. No matter what, it always comes up saying 'Blank usernamee. Type a valid username'.I don't use my phone for work, so it's not the end of the world if I've completely screwed it up and can't get the email back, but it's inconvenient and annoying.
I just updated my app world, went to udpate a few apps & it told me I needed to update my ID, so I did. It then rebooted my phone. I then went back onto app world and tried to enter my account and I am now recieivng the message "ID blocked. Error ID: 40730" what shall I do?
After setting up my phone I was recieving e-mails fine however I am no longer recieving any e-mails. It appears that this could be a common problem, being as it is in the troubleshooting in the manual however... I cannot seem to solve it.
I have tried sending service books. Nothing appears to happen as a result of this. I have tried deleting the account from the phone and then adding it again but that doesnt appear to have worked. I didn't recieve an activation message when i re-added it and I don't know if that is important!
I think it may have happened around about when I was solving another problem and I installed the desktop software and backed up and restored all data. I am wondering if some settings got changed somehow as it is since then that I have not recieved any messages.
I am receiving old emails from 3 contacts, over and over onto my BB Bold.I have tried everything to stop them, but they just keep on coming in.An example is an email received two days ago, from a friend, just keeps on coming in, even after deleting the contact and changing my gmail password. All the emails are gmail-based.
i'm receiving the same message from this PIN 2A3E972B since this morning. The message is the same always and I have received it like 5,000 times!!! This is smartphone virus?
I just upgraded my 8530 to OS 5, funny thing though, when I'm not at home on my WiFi, I don't receive my emails, the browser doesn't seem to find anything (sticks are "requesting") and the FB app doesn't work. However, when I am away from my WiFi, my Pandora App still streams music from the web, so I'm wondering if there are any settings that may have been reset regarding the internet or data?
I am having trouble receiving and keeping emails. BT yahoo is my main web mail address, although I now open everything in windows mail, but my blackberry is not receiving anything at the moment. This has been an on going problem and I don't know where the fault lies, sometimes I receive emails, but then they disappear once opened, or I don't receive them at all!
I recently replaced my 8900, and I'm not exactly sure what I did wrong. Before I moved all my email accounts over to the new phone, I apparently set up my Gmail account on the phone wrong. At any rate, I keep getting my Gmail messages via SMS message. It's driving me crazy! It shows the sender as "700."
