My phone keeps saying the battery is too low for radio use, even when it's still got half a bar of battery. Then it suddenly jumps to orange battery and then to red within a minute.

i have a Curve 8320 and since OS 4.5 the msg "battery too low to use the radio" appear but with 5% of battery but now im getting that msg with 15% since a couple of days ago :s i have the Radio On app but is annoing, it is normal?

After holding the end button to turn it on, it says, battery drained, and it turns off.whats my problem? 2 different chargers have been used already, and so has the USB.

Battery was low but instead of getting the message, my phone just cuts off like if the battery is dead. Any explanation as to why this is happening? It happened two out of two times.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just switched last week from my old note 1 to the S6 and I really enjoy it so far but the battery time bothers still a bit.
On my old note 1 and my 5.0 and 5.1 rom I never had Google play services and the android system consume more then 4-5% battery.
But now on my S6 it's always more than 20% battery usage.
And the mobile radio activity is always at the end of the day at one and a half our on play services and android system,never had that with my Note.
I don't usually surf more than 50 minutes while I'm at work.
The only apps I have installed are whatsapp,clash of clans and twitter.
I did a factory reset today only installed whatsapp and the damn battery drain is still there...
My provider/Mobile carrier is Vodafone Germany,and LTE on. I normally have 3 to 4 bars H+
How to reduce this unnecessary battery drain
I am seriously thinking of getting the Nokia 5530 for my next phone but i have a few questions if you dont mind me asking?
1. Can you put your own songs on there from your pc & then listen to them in the mp3 player?
2. Is it easy to use?
3. Has it got good battery life?
4. What is the radio like on it?
After a recent update of the software on my Tour, I find the battery draining INCREDIBLY fast when the Radio is turned off.
At work, I don't get a signal, so I have been turning off the radio...and in that state, after 24 hours, the battery is usually still at 100%.Now....my battery is draining down to 40% in 5 hours....any thoughts anyone?

Not very often i have the battery down this low, and i know it is not good for the battery. I just wanted to see if it would turn off. I plugged my phone in at 4% so I did not run the battery any lower. I thought it was at 5% that it would turn off. Is the percentage lower? Or is RADIO OFF gone?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had a Curve 8330 in service with Virgin Mobile, for a couple of years. I have just recently switched my cellphone number to a new handset and new service provider. In preparing my Curve 8330 for a new owner (at some point), I opted to use the "Wipe Handset" function, to clean the handset of all my personal information, contacts, etc. During this process, I was advised that the "radio" would be turned off. I thought I was going to be able to manually turn it back on after performing this "wipe", so I wasn't concerned. This would seem (so far) to not work; at least - not the way I was expecting to be able to. Does anyone know how I could at least turn the handset's radio on? While this wouldn't do much good without a service contract attached to the handset, it will at least assure me that the unit is still in working order, and will work properly for a new owner.
