BB Curve :: Auto On/Off Has Loud Sound - How To Turn Off
Sep 19, 2012
I have a BB Curve 9900 running the latest software 7.1.0 bundle 1310. I set up the auto on at 6am and off at 1am which is later than I go to sleep and earlier than I awake, just in case I have any emergency calls, but without using up my battery. However, the sound that comes on when this function is happening is so loud that it wakes me up in the next room. Is there any way to turn off the notifier sound that plays when the phone is turning on and off? I have tried to change the phone profile but it doesn't affect this.If there is no way to turn off the sounds for this function, I don't understand how it is useful. You may as well just plug in the phone and put the profile on "phone only" every night.
Today i notice that i have this problem: URL....but on my bt speaker. Was fine when last tested couple of days ago.My Karbon Onyx speaker screams of pain now, even at lowest volume(unless 0 when its silent as in linked problem above) , while sound on my sony mdr-as800BT seems fine. Have not yet tested in my car.I seem to have all kind of volume related problem with this phone(z3) , earlier this...
Is it just my phone, or does the Moto X seem to have a rather loud vibrate? It seems like the vibration sound is louder than the vibrate feeling itself.
I tried to find out if there is already a solution for this one, but no luck. While I'm listening the music with my C7 with headset connected and the SMS arrives, the indication sound is totally mind blasting. Is there some where a place to turn it down while using headset on my C7?
HiI have had complaints from people I am speaking to of loud static/banging noises. These noises happen intemitantly with no real pattern, virtually everytime I make a phone call. I cannot hear them on my end though! I have been told that this is extremely annoying, almost painfull, and people no longer want to talk to me!
I have a T-Mobile S6 Edge, when I play any media with sound and the phone does ANYTHING else while sound is being played I get a loud distorted interference type sound. I can be playing music through an app, or local file, or watching a video with sound. Even if it's me locking the screen or rotating the screen it happens, also it doesn't matter if it's headphones, the phone's physical speaker, or a Bluetooth speaker it always happens.
I only noticed this issue when sending a video to a friend last week. I thought it was just an error with that specific recording but I just recorded another one and there is no sound whatsoever. Instead it's all just very loud static noise. I've only had this phone since around early December.
I recently bought two iPhone 4S.. but one of it has a loud buzzing sound during vibration mode but the other one is perfectly fine..I bought it from Maxis center.Went to maxis center to ask for an exchange but they couldn't exchange a new one for me. They said if they were to send the phone back to Apple, I would probably get back my same old buzzing phone because it wasn't hardware error. Is there any other possible way to exchange??
I found out that when I try to dial something in the "Phone" section (Phone icon), there is a sound - how do I disable it?Also I use a pre-paid package, when I check my fone balance, there is always a network notification sound that is REALLY loud (!) and there is absolutely no way to reduce the volume or make it silence.I work at office and I want to silence the key tone when dialing in Phone section, along as reduce sound or silence the network notification sound when check balance.Atm the only way is to switch to Silence or Alerts Off modes.
My Electrify reboots itself randomly when I am attempting to make a call. A few times during other things as well. Sometimes it also has a very loud crackling sound on the call. Here is what I have tried so far; Uninstalling task killer app Updating phone software Replacing/formatting SD card Factory reset x2 My wireless company said they get 3 people per day with the same problem with Electrify.
My phone for reasons best known to itself infrequently if not rarely reboots and then plays a loud piece of music (not one I have downloaded!) and I cannot seem to mute it or turn it off until its run it's 30 second course. This may not sound a long time but it is when you are in a meeting of quiet place and other than removing the battery, which would defeat the whole point I cannot find out how to a) silence it, b) turn it off for future reboots or c) why my phone feels the need to restart on a regular basis.
for some new Sony Ericsson phones (I know the W995 has this problem for sure) there is no option to turn off the camera sound or the focus sound, even when silent mode is on. Here I am going to guide you through a solution to overcome this. What we are going to do is replace the sound files for the camera sound and the focus sound with a sound which is silent, using A2uploader. 1. Download this .rar file I have uploaded with 3 sound files, namely camerafocus.3gp, camerashutter2.3gp and camerashutter2_rer.3gp 2. Currently you can choose the following sounds 1. Camera shutter 2. Bear can opening 3.Tennis ball 4. Laser The files in the .rar have been created to replace the Beer can opening sound, however if you want to keep this one, then change the number on the end e.g to replace the Laser sound the two files would be camerashutter4.3gp and camerashutter4_rer.3gp Although please note to replace the Camera shutter sound the number on the end is not 1, but is no number at all e.g. camerashutter.3gp and camerashutter_rer.3gp3.Now you connect your phone to A2uploader (see Tutorial on main website for how to do this) and go to tpa/presets/system/sound and drop all 3 files into this folder. If you want to keep the sound you're replacing right click on it and click 'read' this will create a folder ph_out with this file in it.4.Shut down A2uploader, switch on phone and bobs your uncle! You can also add other sounds, I created a Gavin and Stacey one here but I will happily accept requests for others.Hope this helps! I have entered the details for the loud profile .When I click "active" the sound symbol has a red x next to it and there is no sound! Normal profile works, but this is not as loud as I want. I have a bb Curve 8520.
I just purchased a Lumia Icon recently and on going through and testing out various functions, I noticed that the video recording has an odd noise whenever the camera autofocuses.
The device is up to date on everything, Windows 8.1 and Lumia Denim with the latest camera app.
Here is a sample of it (close range, but it does the same noise when focusing on anything )
Right near the end I switched it to manual focus (the "jump" in focus you see and possibly the sound when that happens), but then switched it back to auto which is the noise starting again.
This happens in both surround sound mode and not.
I'm just wondering if this is normal or not. All the sample videos I have looked for either have someone talking or music playing over the video audio itself, or else what is being recorded is noisy enough to possibly hide the autofocus noise if it exists.
My phone is usually set on loud, but at least once a day it randomly stops playing my text message alert sound, and when I get a text, it starts vibrating endlessly and won't stop until I check the message. It's saying that my ringtones are invalid and won't play any of them. It also won't accept picture messages while it's in this mode. I can fix it by taking the battery out and putting it back in, but then I have to wait the 10 minutes it takes to turn back on, and this gets very annoying.
I've had my blackberry for about 2 months, and I've been using it as my main music player with no problems until this past week. Suddenly, every time a new song starts, the music becomes really loud, and I have to turn it down for every song. I've been trying to find some way to reset the default volume for music, but all I've found is enhanced audio, which is not on. Any ideas about what to do?
