View 2 RepliesI was trying to set up an auto signature for my emails. I found the part in the user manual here at the BB web site, which was very clear. I went to the email, chose options, and then email preferences. Now here I had a problem. I don't have a tick box for auto signature. All I have are options for HTML email and Delivery.
I'm pretty sure this is not a software problem, because there is no newer version available, according to my device.
Is there a way for my to set up an auto signature
I've had this Blackberry Curve for around a couple of months and now the right half of the keypad (apart from the p/@ key) is now locked or not working. The keys affected are y u i o, h j k l del, b n m s and their associated alt symbols. Have I inadvertently locked it? I've tried the unlock number shortcut but this hasn't made any difference
View 5 Replies View RelatedIt has previously glitched when turning on, but it always does turn on. It's fully charged, I had it charging all night and in the morning it worked fine. I was turning in on and off a couple time during the day and it started fine. Went to turn in on later and nothing happened. Nothing lit up or anything. I took out the battery and put it back in and nothing. I tried charging it for hours and still nothing. I've only had it about 5 months and the battery seems fine.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIt isn't natively supported outside the phone, image viewer and browser.if you press CTRL + SHIFT + R on your keyboard then close the keyboard it will turn on/off auto rotate for all apps. Then you can see how BAD some of them look check out the calculator!(press those keys again to turn it back off)

View 1 Replies View Relatedi would like to know if there is a way, with the phone by itself or with any app, to auto lock the keyboard. In any nokia phone (the old ones, not smartphones) you can set it to auto lock after X seconds you didnt use the phone. Thats what I need. The thing is, i have the phone locked in my pocket. I recieve a call, I answer it, and when I finish, the phone stay unlocked. I forguet to lock it again, put in my pocket, and hell unleashes (phone calls, messages, and more without wanting). So, I want my phone to lock itself after 15 sefonds in stand by. And to stay locked after i recieve a call.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a BB Curve 9900 running the latest software 7.1.0 bundle 1310. I set up the auto on at 6am and off at 1am which is later than I go to sleep and earlier than I awake, just in case I have any emergency calls, but without using up my battery. However, the sound that comes on when this function is happening is so loud that it wakes me up in the next room. Is there any way to turn off the notifier sound that plays when the phone is turning on and off? I have tried to change the phone profile but it doesn't affect this.If there is no way to turn off the sounds for this function, I don't understand how it is useful. You may as well just plug in the phone and put the profile on "phone only" every night.
View 1 Replies View Relatedhow can I turn off the keyboard from lighting up, when the device screen is on. I don't want the keyboard light to turn on when I'm using the device because it wastes battery. And my second and most important question is, why is the battery life so poor? My curve battery get's me through one day, and all I do is SMS, facebook, and IM. I don't use it 24/7 during the day either. I've had to charge it every night! Do I have to give the battery time to be "broken in"?
View 7 Replies View RelatedJust a suggestions for Moto, auto-correct should not automatically correct proper nouns. It is impossible to have every name in any database, so if I capitalize a word, it should just leave it alone. I have typed so many things on fb and elsewhere only to see a name of a person or place coming up something ridiculous after I put it up.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIf you are texting with the keyboard open, autocompletions come up on the bottom of your screen. If you then hit "home" or "back" a few times, you will be at the home screen. But, if your keyboard is still open, the auto suggestions are still there!Even more annoying, if you actually click on them, they will go back into your texting program that isn't even on the screen. The next time you go in there, additional words may be in the input box.To get rid of it, opening the browser and hitting back seems to work, sometimes. Closing the keyboard also gets rid of it...but it will come right back if you open the keyboard again.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've seen a couple comments here and there re: the Phonton keyboard being "difficult", and I think those comments are completely warranted when you consider the settings Motorola / Sprint use as the phone ships. They ship it with Auto correct OFF! I came to this phone after 4+ years of blackberrying. I knew the soft keyboard was going to be an adjustment, but with the Photon it was REALLY bad out of the gate. I'd type something, see that I miss-typed it, then I'd have to select the correct word out of the list above the keyboard (assuming it had some idea of what I was after). Very tedious... So I went poking around in the settings and saw they had a auto-correct setting and it was turned OFF!

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to use standard 3.5mm jack headphones on my curve. However for a start they don't seem to fit very well (they don't go all the way down). Secondly when in all they way all I get is a kind of a low clicking noise. If I pull the connector out slightly I can just about get it to play but the sound quality is poor. Does this ring any bells? Same thing happens with multiple headphones and whether I'm playing an MP3 or using the radio. The OS is 7.10 bundle 1319.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am having problems charging my blackberry curve 9320. It is not my battery because I have tried with some of my friends batteries and it is still not working. My phone is currently completely dead, and has been for 1 day now and I have tried multiple chargers. The red light comes on for max 10 seconds and then it turns off, as if the phone is not charging anymore.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI got a replacement 9320 today after claiming on my insurance, but the GPS doesn't want to work.
Location services are on and GPS is set to Device, I refresh the GPS and it fails to locate. Doesn't matter whether I'm inside or out, it times-out and fails.
I've tried the GPS diagnostics and it just says the same thing; that it couldn't find my location. My network supports GPS as I used it on my old 9300, so I'm a little stumped.
Also, BlackBerry maps refuses to search, just saying 'Unknown Error'. Possibly connected?
I bought a curve 9320 with which i got a 6 months free Black berry services ( BBS).For the activation of BBS i have sent a msg BBSFREE at 121 but my services is not activated. After calling in customer care they told me that they have activated my services on their hand and told me that you will have to register your phone to avail services.I donno how to register phone to activate my BBS.

Is this a joke? How did Motorola manage to COMPLETELY leave out the Auto-correct dictionary for the keyboard? And signal strength is pathetic. The phone is great but this is sad, what good is such a well hardware'd phone when you can't get service. I live in NYC, one of Sprint's strongest regions. To date, I haven't been anywhere where I have received 4 bars of service. Since the phone can't, I manually updated the PRL, and lo and behold, it STILL is AWFUL. It's disappointing. Incredibly disappointing. I presume Motorola is fixing the auto-correct issue with an update. The signal is excusable if it's a matter of hardware, but the keyboard simply is not. For 300$, I think I paid for the stock keyboard to have auto-correct.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm having issues pairing my device (9320) with my new Blackberry Playbook. The software on my phone is 7.1 Bundle 2039. I can pair both devices together through Blackberry Bridge but it shows that I've recieved new emails but doesnt let me open them.
I paired the Playbook with a friends phone (9360) which operates on a different system 7.1 Bundle 1133. And this works fine and we can access the emails and the device and playbook work fine.
