BB Curve :: 9350 And Carrier Is US Cellular?

Feb 1, 2012

I own a Blackberry Curve 9350 and my carrier is US Cellular. Does anyone have some suggestions where I can download loud ringtones? I am a metal sculptor and the studio is usually active with a bit of noise always going on... I am looking for ringtones that are Curve 9350 friendly and loud enough to be heard over grinding and welding.

IPhone :: 3gs Disconnecting From Cellular Carrier

Jun 13, 2012

My iPhone keeps being disconnected from the cellular carrier (AT&T), as well as wi-fi, and keeps asking me to restore, I did plenty of times, yet no luck. I talked to and AT&T representative, and they said Apple would replace my 3gs with the most current model (4s). I do have Apple Care. Is this true, and if there is a price, how much?

Info:
iPhone 3GS (8GB), iOS 5.1.1

BB Curve :: 9350 Keeps Rebooting When Trying To Download New Apps

May 30, 2012

I just got a Blackberry Curve 9350 from Sprint over the weekend. I downloaded some apps and everything went fine. Today, I had a notification to upgrade App World, well the upgrade was successful, and I clicked yes to allow the device to restart as soon as the upgrade was finished. Now, whenever I try to download a new application, the phone seemingly downloads it but then the screen turns black when the download is finished and will reboot itself. The new apps aren't found on the device afterwards. What is happening, how can I download the apps I want?

BB Curve :: Carrier Sign Still Showing After Wiping And Reloading

May 17, 2012

In my thread of "application installation issues", it seems to be determined that my carrier who I got the phone from, is blocking the install of applications as I get a 910 error, application authorization failure, when i try to install an application from: [URL]. After some searching, I've come across BBSAK, which I use to wipe the phone and reload the oS. I've also come across the tool "vendelete" which deletes the vendor.xml files.

So I do the following:
1. Uninstall the original carrier OS from pc.
2. Install OS from different carrier to pc.
3. Use vendelete to get rid of the xml files which it says no xml files were found.
4. Use bbsak to wipe the oS.
5. Reload the OS.

But when the phone boots up, it still shows the sign of the carrier which I don't want, so I presume nothing has been updated? since when I try to install the application again, I still get the 910 error.

BB Curve 8500 :: 8520 No Data Plan With Carrier / In Post Payment Plan

Jan 4, 2010

I have the 8520, and have no data plan with my carrier in my post payment plan, i thought , since i have wi-fi at home, office and tons of hot spots. I can use my BB to access the web using free wi-fi as i have been doing with my last 4 smartphones.Big mistake. i have been charged 55 us last month, for data transfer use , i ran to my planŽs assistance office ( telcel in Mexico ), and the answer i got was. you have to get a data plan from us to be able to use wi-fi ( obviuosly i stared at her , just nodding my head ).There is no point in having a device that has acces to wi fi networks , if i cant access the wi fi network without you data plan, so i got the lady to bring the tech guy. His response was...naaahhh...it will access the wi fi. but weŽll charge u anyway. you need to disable the network from the phone and only leave the wi fi option on so you can access without any other charge, but this will leave you with no phone connection.

Is this real? did i just spend 399us in a gadget that has wi fi capabilities but will not be able to get on any wi fi connection form home or work, without being charged for data transmission over my cell providers network?cmon this sounds as stupid as it does in my head ? i would be really disapointed if i just left my old Nokia E71 SPhone, for this beautiful BB Curve 8520 THAT DOES NOT CONNECT TO THE WI Fi.

IPhone :: Wifi Available. Will It Use Cellular Data?

Aug 24, 2010

So I got my first ever iPhone and it's the iPhone 4. I have the 200mb plan and I plan to switch cellular data off most of the time if wifi is available to avoid overage. Thing is, with cellular data off, I can't do certain things (ex. Receive picture messages via the Messages app) unless I turn on cellular data. So as long as wifi is available, will my phone still use up cellular data even though it can get data off the wifi? Thanks.
I apologize if I failed to look up any threads on a similar subject. I did a quck search but they weren't really what I was looking for.
