View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I use an older, slower charger for my GS6 overnight, my battery usually lasts all day, unless under HEAVY use of video or music. However, when I use the Fast Charging cord that was boxed with my GS6, it seems to charge to 100% at lightning speed, but then seems to lose power 5 times faster the next day. I may barely use my phone for <10 minutes during the day, and it is down to 10% by 5pm! So, fast charging = faster battery loss? I'm not seeing an upside to the Fast Charging, at all.

It will charge from a Kindle USB mains charger, 850ma output, and the Kindle will charge from the 5v USB lead. The 5v USB has a current output of 2A, which should be fine.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I have a blackberry 9300 that I use on the Mobilicity network. My charging port broke off that, so I have been using an older 8520 with no sim card to charge my 9300Usually, I just pop the battery out and put it into the older one, and it charges in about an hour. The last time I did this was on Friday. Last night, I tried charging my battery using the same method, and it stopped working. The phone recognized that it was plugged in (it changed screens to the clock) but the phone then freezes and doesn't charge.I googled around today, and reinstalled the OS through my PC (Desktop software recognized it and let me do it) but it still didn't charge. I know its getting some power because its still on, and its super red battery level.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm recently having a problem with the charging behavior of my 9300. I leave it to charge and it starts normally then I go back to it I find the sign of the plug on the battery indicator while the battery isn't fully charged yet. I pull out the plug and replug it again and still I get the plug sign on the battery. I did a battery pull out and plugged again, now what it does is that it starts charging and the battery flashes for about 30 seconds then it stops and I get the plug sign for 30 seconds. Then it starts flashing and charging again then stops. I normally charge my phone overnight so I hardly monitor the charging behavior. The only 2 times I monitored this happened. Also noticed that the phone is extra warm. So is all this normal? Us anyone having the same? Does it stop charging when it hears and starts again when it cools?
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy phone ran out of battery completely, and turned off, like normal. However, when I plugged it into my 240v wall charger, it came up with a battery symbol and a red cross over the top, something i have never seen before. I have taken the battery out and out it back in many times now and no luck. The LED turns red for a few seconds upon inserting the charger, but goes off and will not allow me to turn the phone on as usual.I have looked at my battery and next to the gold contact plates, is a little white strip, its turned partially red. I heard somewhere that the batterys have a device to notify you if the battery has become wet.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had a 9300 curve since august and love the phone. However recently I've been noticing a problem with the charger in which I've had to wiggle it around to make the phone charge. However I tried it with the USB cablbe before and the USB slotted in fine and did not seem loose at all. I guess it's the charger that's broke? Perhaps the cable is loose or torn inside or something?Should I just get a new charger?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI've recently purchased within the last 2 weeks the Blackberry Bold 9780. For some reason I can't get the phone to charge in any Car using the 12v cigarette lighter. I've had no issues with charging it from the Mains and the USB port on a PC. When plugging into the Cigarette lighter, the charger's LED lights up to indicate that there is power being received to the charging unit and after inserting the mini USB connection into the Phone, I get the connection bleep and the clock appears, however after all of this I still get no charging indicator on the battery. Also sometimes when I re-connect the cable I get the below message from the phone:
`Some USB hubs might not provide enough power. Plug the hub into a power outlet (if available) and re-connect your Blackberry device. Try connecting to another USB port (different computer, USB hub or travel charger). Verify that your USB cable is securely connected to your Blackberry device and USB port. Verify that your Computer is standby, hibernate or sleep mode. Verify that Blackberry device USB drivers are installed on your Computer`.
I've now tried three different car chargers all supported by Blackberry - I've sinced purchased one of the Mini USB Chargers that plug into the Cigarette lighter Mini-USB cables - still the same issue... I've tried charging in other cars - also my wife owns a HTC Wildfire and she's able to charge her phone from the Mini USB charger I have recently purchased.
I've spoken to Orange who don't seem to have heard of any issues like this - I've since asked Orange to replace the phone which I'm hoping to receive within the next 24hrs...

I have a 3rd party charger, that charges fine my phone, Kindle etc. It's able to do 2,5A (5V) on output. But when I connect it to PB nothing happens, the screen lights up, but the battery is not charging. I think the problem is not because of not enough amps, it's more than original wall charger. But I have no idea what's the problem... Is it too much amps and PB, instead of using just what's needed, will just disconnect the charger at all?
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy Lumia 950 doesn't charge well on the CR-201 in car charger. It connects and disconnects every 10 seconds or so, making usual chime, when it connects with monotonous regularity. That's makes a nuisance when bluetooth streaming as the chimes stream too. Flicking to ringer off stops that though.
It charges fine using the DT-910 desk standing charger. So I don't think it's a case issue, though I have a Mozo case on order.

Today I received 2 Nokia wireless charger as part of the free charger with the new Lumia 920 on AT&T. When I tried to charge my phone it worked just fine, but when I tried to charge my wife phone it didn't charge, her was in battery save mode so I tried charging it with the usb cable until it got out of battery save mode and tried again with no luck.
I tried in both wireless charger devices both phones and had the same result, my phone charged and my wife's didn't. The light in the charger device does light up with no blinking hinting that the phone is charging but there's no notification on the phone side (no sound, battery icon don't change, battery keeps dropping).
The other difference between the two phones is that her's is high gloss red and mine is matte black.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAbout two weeks ago the phone died when the battery ran flat and when I tried to charge it with the original charger it wouldn't charge, so I connected it to the pc and after several hours it started charging again. The only problem is that it only charges at a very slow rate now, both via pc and via wall charger(Original 1.8A and even a 2.4A one), by slow rate I mean it takes around 30 hours to charge from 0 to 100%.
Having said that, the phone only seems to charge when it is first switched off. When I plug the phone to charger it does not detect it unless i first switch it off and only then it detects it and start charging. If i switch it back on when the charger is attached it still shows me that is charging but if I receive a message or two the battery starts draining all the same. I tried to change chargers/chords and i also did a factory reset and it didn't work.
I now bought a new battery and it still didn't solve the problem. What I am suspecting is that the phone is stuck in slow charging mode that prevents fast charging when the battery is completely flat. Also if I try connecting the phone to the pc via usb, although it charges(after switching it off), the pc does not detect it.
My phone is works fine with no issues, Games running smooth but when charging the charger gets hot (the phone not) , btw is that normal that my phone gets charged fast? (2 hours and It's almost full battery)

When I connected my lightning cable in my phone, suddenly the cable heated and immediately I took it off from the phone, the phone was working properly and it had about 8% charge. I left it for about 48 hours as I didn’t have the cable, It's had no power for some days since I lost my lightning cable - it's basically completely out of power. I've charged it once in the last week with a certified Apple lightning cable, but now it no longer responds to any cables at all.  I've tried with two different cables (neither are certified Apple cables, but both work well with their owner's iPhones) and the phone does not respond at all. I've tried charging through my computer and using a wall socket, but the phone does nothing, even after it's been plugged-in for more than 2 hours.
