I have a generic data plan, but no BIS blackberry data plan. All of the free messengers i have tried cannot connect, and I am currently using IM+, which i am loving, but I would not pay th $20 for it if i can get a free one. Is there a free Messenger app that can support data with no BIS?

1) Battery Pull
2) Memory Cleaning
3) Cleaning Cache
4) Delete Event Log
5) Delete Call Log
6) Delete un-necessary messages
7) Delete unwanted applications (games etc)
8) Ensure that only 5 default applications are running in the background
What I would like everyone is to share if there are any other ways to free up further memory in order to make the phone more faster.

I am using BB curve 9300 and I have both BIS as well wifi connection on however I am unable to browse. When ever I click on Google or try to open any page it just get closed automatically. When ever I am trying to login with Gtalk/yahoo messenger it is showing connection error 65.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having little problem with my blackberry 8520....earlier today I couldn't see my blackberry messenger on the instant message file, so searching for it led me to reloading my phone and before I reloaded it, the wifi connection was working perfectly, but now I can connect to wifi but my instant messengers are not working with it, like my blackberry messenger and yahoo messenger are not working with the wifi connection. And under the "Default Browser Configuration, I can see T-mobile internet and Hotspot browser alone.

I always took the back of the phone off too so that it wasn't coming through 2 little holes through the top. View 1 Replies View Relatedhi. had 8900 for few months on orange uk with data plan. have been using email, internet and windows live and blackberry messenger all fine using either wi fi or mobile now all of a sudden its stop working and i cant use none. when i try to connect to internet i get a msg say this is a wi fi service please ensure your device has a wi fi connection , bb messenger wont send mgs or receive windows live jus says this service is not enabled for this handheld. ive contacted orange but they havnt helped they did say it could be a update of facebook causing problem?. have tried removing battery and restoring removed service books etc nothings fixed. can anyone help plz?

However whenever I check for updates via the blackberry site the desktop manger pops up and does not offer this upgrade. All it says it 4.6.1 (current) and the rest are downgrades, so I'm not quite sure what I need to do to get the new OS to even appear, much less download it and work.

First thing I want to do is get all the apps from my old phone to the new one. I have installed Opera Mini 5 but I have to say I miss being able to toggle through the links. I only have 55.1MB of free space and I cant download apps in app world cos it uses up all the free space. My space has been as low as 6.1MB. This is my 2nd phone from Virgin as I had the problem with the 1st 9300 and I had to send it back and they said that it was a problem that cant be fixed so they sent me a reconditioned phone but this phone seems to have the same problem too.
I have a 4gb media card installed to save all my pics and music onto.
