BB Curve 83xx :: Accessing Two Gmail Accounts Easily?
Feb 16, 2010I have 2 gmail accounts set up on my BB and both work fine. I'd like to be able to access each account easier. As it is now I have to toggle through the account list to switch between accounts and it seems that I always get mail in the account I'm not currently in. I know, it sounds minor, but anything to save a few keystrokes multiple times throughout the day.

Sep 4, 2010I recently sold my Nextel Blackberry Curve 8350i. It has been since disconnected and I have switched to another carrier. I have sold the phone but I don't know how to receive my e-mail accounts from my old Blackberry. Can anyone tell me how to delete them since it has already been disconnected from the network. Apr 26, 2010This is kind of confusing but I am not receiving texts. I know they are being sent because I have color lite id configured and the light changes as if I received a text, but nothing.I have confirmed with the senders and they did text, from both sprint and verizon. I can also call ,receive email and have internet access.I can also send texts and they are received. I called sprint/blackberry and they provisioned the phone again but still nada. I have had this phone about 6 months with no problems , no new operating systems and I did a battery pull along with searching for answers and still nothing.

Sep 14, 2010Is this a normal occurance on the 8310 running any version of 4.5 to at random times when you hit reply to an SMS there is no history trail on the screen? Have had device replaced, reloaded software 4.5.0.182(306) 3 times with AT&T/Blackberry Tech Support while on the phone for over two hours including wipe and reload with no restore of user data. Removed SD memory card. Reformated SD card. Tried loading old version of 4.5.0.110(152) with no user data restored. The only thing that hasnt been replaced is the SIM. SMS is not set to store on the SIM. SMS Previous Items is set to 25 from 7.Running out of options. Any thoughts?

Jan 14, 2010I had to transfer my info to a new phone, now none of the calendar entries are showing on the home screen. i've got 2 new calendars that i've never seen before, device default and unknown. those are in addition to my email calendar. DD = green, my email = blue, and unknown = yellow. the original entires are all green and DO NOT show up on the homescreen. any new ones i enter are yellow and DO show on home screen. any ideas why this is happening? i have a lot of future entires that i dont want to re-enter.

May 8, 2010I have been receiving absolutly no help from my local SPRINT representatives and I am about ready to throw my blackberry out the window.I received a replacement phone for my blackberry that has a missing part and I was able to sycronize all things from the old blackberry 8330 onto the new blackberry 8530.problem is that I am not getting my emails now! When I go to set up wizard, I am not given the options to set up new accounts or to delete accounts, just to sign in and when I do, the log in and passwords are not correct even though they are.

Jan 6, 2010I have several email folders on my blackberry. When I recieve an email it only shows up on the "messages" folder.My previous BB would show the new mail indicator in both "Messages" folder and the specific email folder it belonged in. If I go to the specific folder, the email is inside, it just will not alert me to this folder.Hope this makes sense.Currently I have 4 specific email folders, a text folder, and a messages folder.
How can I fix this? I have an 8310 that was just replaced by another 8310 thru insurance coverage.
IPhone :: Mail By Two Different Accounts
Feb 10, 2010I'm on the 3gs (it's new-2days, I've had my old iphone for 2+yrs and didn't have this trouble). I have 2 email accounts set up on the phone. When I create a mail and send it from one account it gets sent by that account AND my other account. People "reply" to that other email account and it gets me all confused as I'm waiting for a response in my other account. How do I fix this? The account that I initially sent the mail from is already being set as my "default" account.

May 29, 2012Apple, provide our iphones with the same possibility to set the preferences for a Standard account. I only use my alias me.com mail account and if writing a new mail i always have to change the "sender" account. os 10.7.4 has this as standard feature.

Jan 13, 2010We just got new Bold 9700 handsets. We have set them up with our bes server and changed our bis accounts (hotmail + other) and the phone is now receiving email from all accounts correctly. The problem is all the mail is going into one "inbox" on the handset. Previously we had the bes email going to seperate bis inboxes and the bes account going to its own seperate inbox. As below At the moment everything is going into the one envelope inbox.Any idea's?

BB Curve 8520/8530 :: Curve 8530 After Update V5.0.0.734 Mail Isn't Showing
Jul 27, 2010I updated my phone the other day with the v5.0.0.734 OS. It wiped out everything. I had to go back and restore my contacts, reload ringtones and apps, etc. Got everything back the way it was now.
I have three email accounts synced to it. All are active, Wi-fi on, network on. New mail isn't showing up on my handset, only from my gmail account, the hotmails aren't showing up. Used to be you could look in the folder for each email account and see what emails were there, then there was one folder that showed all of them. What am I missing?

May 14, 2012In addition to my Corporate email account, I have other personal email accounts activated and set up on my bb. On Saturday, these personal email accounts/icons all of a sudden disappear from my Home screen. I've tried reboot the bb by taking out the battery and re-inserting it.I've gone into Set up a few times to delete and re-activate them individually.I did received message back that these accounts have been successfully set up with my bb device, but their envelope icons still HAVE NOT been able to show up on the Home Screen. I've tried Hide & unhide, Show all and not Show all. Nothing works.In the Messages folders, I can see that I am receiving all emails from all my accounts However, when I go into Sound and Alert to change ring tones/sounds for Selected Profiles, under Messages - Notifiers. only Email [Desktop] shows up.How can I get back my other email accounts/icons to show up on my Home screen? My bb is Bold 9780.

Oct 11, 2011If you have multiple email accounts setup in the email client, how do you switch between the accounts? It would be real intuitive if that little drop down arrow next to the account name was to select another account but all that does is bring up options for the inbox, sent, etc. The only way I know is to go into config and set the default account to the one you currently want to look at. It can't be that hard!

Dec 6, 2011I just got the s2, and i have 4 email accounts (2 work, 1 hotmail, 1 gmail). I have them configured and working, but they are all under the standard mail app (white envelop with blue @). When I get a new message, this icon will show how many unread messages there are. But, it shows for all of my accounts. I'm trying to have separate apps/icons for each email address that'll show some type of "unread messages" notification on the icon itself. Came from a blackberry and i had 4 individual accounts setup, each would have a red star if there was an unread msg in that account. I tried the hotmail and the gmail apps but they don't seem to show anything like this either.
