I have one problem with e-mail.When I go to settings>mail,contacts,calendar my accounts are bleached and I can not do anything with them.They are locked. How I can change that?

I'm on the 3gs (it's new-2days, I've had my old iphone for 2+yrs and didn't have this trouble). I have 2 email accounts set up on the phone. When I create a mail and send it from one account it gets sent by that account AND my other account. People "reply" to that other email account and it gets me all confused as I'm waiting for a response in my other account. How do I fix this? The account that I initially sent the mail from is already being set as my "default" account.
View 9 Replies View RelatedApple, provide our iphones with the same possibility to set the preferences for a Standard account. I only use my alias me.com mail account and if writing a new mail i always have to change the "sender" account. os 10.7.4 has this as standard feature.

I was trying to unlock my iphone4 Baseband 04.12.01 with SAM but I didn't realise it was detected by Apple. SAM didnt work and now my phone is locked, asking for a compatible Sim card (may be it means AT&T but not sure) which I dont have. I only have T-mobile sim. My iPhone 4S locked up twice when I swipped to unlock. Now won't start. I soft reset it both times and now it flashes the Apple icon followed by spining beach ball and that starts over indeffinately. This was after deleting apps becasue it said I had low memory. Before I had 600mb and then I had 2 GB after deleting a bunch of apps. When I plug it into itunes it says it cannot access becasue it is locked with a passcode, but it still shows the beach ball.

I just bought the Iphone 4S. I selected the option to have the screen locked after 5 minutes of non usage, with a code. When the phone goes into locked mode, it does not ring when people call me, instead they get directed instantly to my voice mail.
To avoid this, I've then selected the "never" option on the locking mode, so that the screen never gets locked : the calls do come through & ring, but the downside is that the screen remains lit, never goes dark, consuming batteries really quickly...

It would be real intuitive if that little drop down arrow next to the account name was to select another account but all that does is bring up options for the inbox, sent, etc. The only way I know is to go into config and set the default account to the one you currently want to look at. It can't be that hard!
