I just had my worse luck, I sold my 3GS on ebay on sunday and it was jailbreaked and unlocked and the buyer needs the phone unlocked, well I don't know why I did it but I used the RESET NETWORK SETTINGS button and the damn phone frooze on me, it rebooted on the apple logo and nothing happened for hours, so I restored from my old backup but I end up getting 3.1.3 with baseband 05.12.01.is there anyway to unlocked by downgrading to 3.1.2 or doing something similar?

I was trying to unlock my iphone4 Baseband 04.12.01 with SAM but I didn't realise it was detected by Apple. SAM didnt work and now my phone is locked, asking for a compatible Sim card (may be it means AT&T but not sure) which I dont have. I only have T-mobile sim. I am Ferdinand Panganiban from the Philippines, I own an iPhone 4 version 5.0.1 model MC318LL which a friend gave me from California,however an issue arises since the phone is lock to a certain network (AT&T) sim.. meaning i cannot used the phone to other network here in the philippines.So, I can't make phone calls or send or received messages. My iPhone 4S locked up twice when I swipped to unlock. Now won't start. I soft reset it both times and now it flashes the Apple icon followed by spining beach ball and that starts over indeffinately. This was after deleting apps becasue it said I had low memory. Before I had 600mb and then I had 2 GB after deleting a bunch of apps. When I plug it into itunes it says it cannot access becasue it is locked with a passcode, but it still shows the beach ball.
