I have 2 gmail accounts set up on my BB and both work fine. I'd like to be able to access each account easier. As it is now I have to toggle through the account list to switch between accounts and it seems that I always get mail in the account I'm not currently in. I know, it sounds minor, but anything to save a few keystrokes multiple times throughout the day.

For some reason I can't get my Curve to connect to the the desktop manager. I have installed and uninstalled the Manager 3x, tried to different computers and 3 different USB cables and still nothing. When I plug the phone into the PC it shows the charging icon for about 5 seconds then it disappears and when I try to access it with the DM it cant find the PIN. I checked to make sure that the DM was set to recognize the USB. The last time I use the DM was back in November and everything was fine, but now nothing wants to work.

I have the gmail enhanced plugin if that makes a difference.Also on a totally unrelated note is there a way to search the gmail server from the gmail plugin app?

View 14 Replies View RelatedSo i had an old gmail account and all my contacts were synced with that one and so then i deleted that one and created a new gmail so now that im trying to sync my gmail contacts with my new gmail it wont let me it just syncs new contacts that i add not the ones that have been on my phone and in each contacts it says "synchronized with: (my old gmail)" and i wanted to know how i can change the old gmail sync with my new gmail sync i've also tried google sync and that doesnt work at all either so i would appreciate some help with this problem.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI have multiple email addresses on my phone (Work, School (2), and Gmail). I have set my work email as the default under default services under advanced options. If I am in messages and I use the menu to compose a new email, the correct default email (work) is used.
However, if I am browsing my files, like a picture, and I use the menu to select send as email, it will attach it to a new email but it will be my Gmail address, not my default work address as the from address.
I have double checked and my work email is set as the default. Does anyone know how to fix this? This is not a battery pull problem either... It has been this was since I got the phone, and on my replacement as well. I reboot the phone often so its not the standard do a battery pull answer.
Is it possible when I say, for example, "Ok Google. Send an email to dad," that I can use one of my non-Gmail accounts to send it? I have my Comcast email signed in under Gmail, but it always defaults to my Gmail account I never use, and when I select the icon in the top right that says "Send this email with...," that is the only option.

When I go to set up wizard, I am not given the options to set up new accounts or to delete accounts, just to sign in and when I do, the log in and passwords are not correct even though they are.

But I have a problem with gmail notifications, and it's hard to find info on this on the web because it just turns up a lot of stuff about the notification sounds, which is not my issue.
I have three gmail accounts, two private and one for work. With all my previous phones, when I had mail incoming, I'd get one notification icon in the status bar per account. So if I had unread mail in all three accounts, I'd three gmail icons in the notification bar.
The Z2 seems to lump them all together, and I only get one single icon regardless of how many accounts have unread email. I find this quite annoying and not something I expected at ALL. (Even my first very crummy internet-capable phone did multiple notifications.) Is this a bug, or is there a way to change a setting?
Only one of my 3 gmail accounts on my phone is acting up from time to time, saying incorrect username and/or password. I know this is false because I simply wait and the problem goes away. Only this time, it's been 24 hours now and it still thinks its the wrong username and/or password. In the meantime, I'm able to use that username and password on my laptop with no problems. I've tried deleting the account on my phone and adding it again, but it still thinks incorrect username and/or password.

I have multiple gmail accounts set up on my Xoom. Everything is good except the Market. Sometimes my Market app will switch accounts and act like I only have 5 installed apps (probably just the preinstalled apps). It's easy enough to switch back to the right account.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have recently bought a BB 9300 Curve. However ever since the day I have been using the set, precisely last Sunday, I have been getting messages every 15 minutes which read as "Last Session Cost: 0.50 INR, Session Data accessed: 0.1 MB.
The above data of course have been varying and since that day this has resulted in the deduction of almost 40 INR. I have repeatedly tried to touch base with my mobile service provider - Vodafone with this issue, but they have clearly told me their inability to help me with the issue.Also what I have been told is to stop the "Push mail" option in Internet settings, whereas I have no internet facility yet activated in my BB and that I have not yet accessed any browser or mail set-up.
i have d bis service activated on my new curve 3g (full service)recently i have started noticing that my balance is geting deducted every now nd then so i decided to ask the operators whr is d balance geting deducted they tell me that i have been using gprs on my blackberry why would some1 use gprs when 3g bis is activated it dint make any sense to me so i decided to go to the nearby service center and there they tell me that since blackberry is a verry advanced phone it keeps trying to acces gprs even though bis is activated he suggested me dat there must be some 3rd party app which is trying to use gprs!so he suggested me i remoove all 3rd party apps and check if the same is happening! and i did so, since then for 3-4 days balance was not geting deducted!

I have several image and music files on my BlackBerry and have regularly made use of each (I have had this BlackBerry for just shy of 2 months), using my windows laptop to transfer the files via the USB cable.Today, however, when I plugged in the USB cable and went into the BlackBerry's folder on my laptop, all the subfolders appeared only as shortcuts (although they still worked fine) and after disconnecting, my BlackBerry seems entirely unable to locate anything I have saved on there.
