After doing the 313 update my bb is now working fine with receiving text messages on time..now the problem i have is..my bb is not receiving mms picture texts.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently went abroad and was unable to make calls or receive texts, although I was able to use BB messenger, Facebook and twitter. I contacted my carrier (vodafone) who told me my sim card was out of date and I need a new one.When I returned home I had a new sim card waiting for me, when I put this in my phone and activated it all was fine for about twho hours, then I lost all the email settings. I did not think this would be a big deal and set about setting them up again.
I finally managed to set up my hotmail (I need to use the vodafone BIS website), but no matter what I do I can not set up the other two emails. I have contacted vodafone who say this is my problem and i must have wrong password or settings (despite the fact these worked fine).
My question is, can I restore the email settings from a backup?
I am unable to send or receive picture messages, not even an option for doing it whether in messages or on the picture itself. The phone is on Orange. I have upgraded the phone to version 5 but still the same.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just transfered all the data from my damaged 8350i to the refurbished 8350i they sent me. I have also switched the SIM card - and most everything worked fine. EXCEPT NO PICTURES, VOICENOTES, VIDEO, etc. on the new phone. Now however it says 'Insert Media Card'. I DID have a media card in the original phone, I thnk (at least the BBDesktop Manager detected one). But where/what/how sihould I handle this?

On my old Rant I received the emails instantly. Is there a 3rd party email that is available. Please help not really wanting to go back to my Rant phone but need phone that will deliver my work emails quick. Work emails are not on any kind of exchange server either. Just simple MS Outlook through our local cable company.

I select Share & only get 3 options:
Send Via BlueTooth,
Send Via Email
Share Service

I don't get the notification that I have voicemail. I've reset the phone, taken the battery and sim card out but it still hasn't fixed the problem.

I purchased an iPhone 4 refurbished for £119 from an OOW replacement and was told i would have a 90 day warranty. 14 days on, and I am having an error which says 'Unable to recieve calls and texts please restore' or something similar, and then the service goes. I have been on My Support Profile, and it says my warranty has expired, im not the best at maths but im ppretty sure my warranty is due to expire in roughly 76 days. However every time i have restored it has been via back up, is setting up as new Phone likely to fix the issue? I am very upset about this and want to know if the phone keeps faulting and I take the reciept i recieved via email after the service with me will they give me yet another replacement? PS I have restored 3 times now.

I have an iphone 4s with AT&T service. I have had 2 previous models of the iphone with AT&T and not had a problem before. However, since I have upgraded to the 4s, I cannot send or receive texts to people that still have a 3gs and it also seems to people with Samsung phones. From what I know, everyone is on AT&T for their service. This is very inconveinent and information is not coming across when we assume the text has gone through.

this has happened since I had the phone, but due to annoying shift patterns we couldnt take the phone back to be exchanged. The phone has just been repaired for a broken screen (glass, not LCD) and the software updated, so I had high hopes that this would be fixed, but it still wont receive calls & texts unless on charge.

Why cannt I send and receive picture messages from my iphone. I am using ipbone 3 with 3g and with data plan with T-Mobile. All types of trouble shooting have been done with my carrier without positive result in resulving the issue. A collegue in my office with iphone he is using with Spring has the same problem. How come other cellphone users are able to exchange photos and those of us with ihone could not? Considering the cost of iphone, I believe it will shameful if could fail to make these device work perfectly. The email sent to me by Apple does not contain anything new other than telling me to back-up, erase the phone contents and relauch it. It was done without any change.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Nextel Blackberry 8350i that is set up on the Boost network and Im trying to set up a blackberry email account so that I can forward my work emails to my blackberry. When I try to set it up using the Nextel or Sprint link on the blackberry website, it tells me that: Your BlackBerry® Internet Service Account is suspended or deactivated. Please contact your wireless service provider at 1-800-639-6111. When I call that number, they tell me they cant help me because im on the boost network. When I call boost they tell me they cant help me because I have a NEXTEL blackberry...Can someone please help me get this email thing set up?
View 5 Replies View RelatedAs soon as my phone had installed the latest update, i lost the ability to send or receive text messages. The only time I can send or receive is if i am on a phone call. As soon as the call is done, my text messaging is non-functional. I have no issues with calls/internet browsing/apps...just text messaging.
Furthermore, i do not know if this a phone issue or an AT&T issue.
What i should do first with my new phone my instincts are to update the os but reading these forums its seems like the update is worse than the original anybody actually know pros and cons??? also what r any good themes, apps, tips & tricks worthwhile on the 8350i
