My BB 9700 which I've had for about 3 yrs has suddenly died! Please can somebody tell me how to cleab install when my BB won't connect to my PC? It's recognised in the blue tooth application
have recently started to get this message on my phone everytime I try to go on the internet, ''uncaught exception application net_rim_bb_browser_daemon (361)''
I'm getting this error immediately after I enter my password just once after a device reboot.I know this is an error that is thrown by an application but my problem is I cannot determine which one. I used the device switch wizard to switch from a Bold 9700 with OS5 and a fair number of apps installed. I used app world to delete everything that was not a Research in Motion created app, rebooted, then cleanly reinstalled a subset of the 3rd party apps. The error persisted even when only RIM created software was installed. How do I determine which application is throwing this error? I tried looking at the system log, the error is there but with no detail as to which module or app is causing it.
Recently I started encountering this error 'Uncaught exception: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError' whenever I go to the Appworld. I checked my memory size and still have 1.6GB available out of 1.8GB. This only happens when I attempt to launch any APP. It keeps on running endlessly for several minutes then returns the error.
I have downloaded several themes for me Blackberry Bold 9700 and i am unable to access the interet/web browser. Whenever i click on it the error message Uncaught excpetion:java-lang-illegalarumentexception. Is there any advice someone could please give me as it would be greatly appreciated as i have had my first Blackberry for only 1 month?
This error recently kicked in. I only found out when i realised i was unable to set an alarm. My bold is pretty new and i jus updated the os from 4.6 to 5.0 days ago
I just got my BB Bold 9900 and my visuall voicemail keeps acting up. keep getting these "Uncaught exception net_rim_bb_vvm (778).." Its a different number in parentheses everytime get it, but it's really irritating me. Can I do anything to reset this problem or reload it?
I am installing cell tracker software to my phone and was instructed to transfer 5 .jar and .tar type files to my phone after transferring the files and installing the app it does not run and I get error screen "Uncaught Exception: Java.Lang.NoclassDeffound Error" when I try to run the app. I have been told that there has been some error in transferring the files correctly to my cell phone from my PC.
I receive the error message "Uncaught Exception: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException" when I try to open texts or email on my Blackberry Bold 9900. It uses the Blackberry 7 OS I have tried rebooting my phone, however this does not fix the error.
My wife's BB IM quit working after a firmware update. Now she gets "Uncaught exception:
java.lang.NullPointerException" error. I have done a hard reset, and uninstalled the messenger a couple times, however she still gets the error. One of the reasons to get the BB was for this feature
My Device Carrier: AT&T Model and OS: Blackberry Bold OS v 4.6
The Problem: Sometime in the past couple of days I stopped receiving SMS text messages properly. Though I was able to send and receive text messages as recently as Monday (the 1st, and this writing is on the 3rd of February) I find I am unable to receive them at present. This problem is complicated by a few tests I have done. With my phone right in front of me and another phone in my hand, I have sent a text message to my phone (from the other phone) and witnessed my phone make the loading sign in the upper right-hand corner (the little double-arrow that pops up when one is receiving data). No new message appears in my joint inbox and no "new message" icon pops up on my home screen. When I try to select the SMS inbox folder in the 'Select Folder' option in the menu in my messaging application, absolutely nothing happens.
I am also encountering oddities when I send SMS messages - though I am able to send them. When I complete an SMS text message and select 'Send', the message, though it is sending, may sometimes stay up on the screen as though I did not send it. When I select 'Send' again, it does disappear from the screen but does not display it sending in my inbox (it normally shows the message as sending, it receives a checkmark when sent, and then it disappears; as I set it up to). I can, however, access the SMS Outbox folder.
Finally, though I think this is unrelated, when my phone starts up from having the battery removed - which I did try - I receive a message stating "Uncaught exception:java.lang.NullPointerException". The first time I received this message was upon waking up one morning, as though it had occurred sometime during the night, and I dismissed it as unimportant as it did not seem to mess with the functioning of my Blackberry.
I do not have any backups to restore my phone to, as I just updated my computer to Windows 7 and cleared the majority of the hard drive in doing so. Also, I just, today, updated my phone to the latest version of all my applications.
Today I got an "uncaught exception error" after I pulled the headset adapter out while listening to music without hitting the pause button first then holstering the phone. It must've happened a couple of times before without the error appearing because a couple of times in the last week when I hit menu I noticed "playing now" was missing, even though I was in the middle of an album. Anyone get this? IDK if I should install the Sprint version over this.
I recently had an error message come up on my blackberry curve 8520 saying 'uncaught exception 3', this message now comes up every time i switch my phone on. I originally thought it was from one of my apps that i had downloaded and now removed from my device. My keypad is now not completely working. I would like to also save all my contacts to my sim as i don't want to lose them all if my phone does break altogether.
I installed the official release for OS 5... and On boot I keep getting the following error Uncaught Exception: Application net_rim_bb_phone_app(54) is not responding; process terminated {ok}
I press okay and the phone seems to run okay, but it bugs me, any ideas?
my storm is set to loud profile yet my ringer my alarms all sound all together will not play neither will any videos stored or from the browser I get the uncaught exception closing player message on videos..
My curve firsts gave me error messages uncaught exception application registry get or wait for (0x7c802477365c3985) now my phone keep giving me a white screen when I switch it on with app error 253 reset. Keep resetting and same white screen. What do I do?
A couple of months ago the What's App application required an update. I updated it and ever since my phone has steadily had more and more issues. First, I kept getting this uncaught error message, shortly thereafter the 2 email accounts (both gmail) that I have linked to the account disappeared. The message icon shows that I have messages, but icons not there (I have tried the show all option). At one point the message icon started exponentially adding the number of messages until it got up to over 86,000. When I reboot the phone it goes back down and then steadily increases again. usually though it's more to 400 - 500 rather then tens of thousands. I have been trying to install updates and do a wipe of the BB so that I can start from scratch, unfortunately the application loader is unable to back up data. The desktop manager is unable to connect to the blackberry and indicates that an upgrade is required. I have tried doing the upgrade both directly from the phone and connected to the desktop manager, but nothing seems to work. If I try to upgrade the software directly from the BB, I get to the start download button and when I click, nothing happens. I have removed all applications except bberry app world and one game that I play, Pixelated Plus. Still nothing.
I get this message when i try adding a contact in my phone book. Seem to have this problem after installing animated avatars vol 2 on my 9300 curve 3G OS 5. Tried deleting the app, removing battery while the phone was still on and even tried upgrading the OS to 6. But of no avail. Teribbly disappointed that BB has such issues with the most basic requirement of adding and editing contacts.
I have the Blackberry Curve 8530 I keep getting application error 523. I can make calls using my bluetooth, but none of the buttons work. What do I do to restore my phone?
Whenever I click on the Blackberry Messenger icon it will not open and displays the pop up error 'Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointer Exception'.
its been almost a month since i am facing this error. i have tried updating my softwares but it keeps on repeating. and just because of this my bbm is not working.i am really irritated by this. if not can you tell me where to go?
I got a message that it's time to update my software on my Curve so I did. Since then, BBM won't open and it says uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException. I've tried turning the phone off, taking out the battery, replacing the battery and turning the phone back on but that doesn't work.
I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem.....every time I reboot my phone, I get this message "Application_net_rim_bb_phone_app(47) is not responding. I am on sprint and running .419. I can make phone calls and everything, but just curious what that error message means.
Also, I am no longer getting MMS messages with this update, everything comes through as a SMS, and I have to use that dreaded sprint picture mail to see the message. In which the message never comes out clear.....
I am getting following error: uncaught exception. Applicationregistry. waitfor (0x7c802477365c3985) timeout.Bcoz of this i am not able to make or receive calls.
When restarting (after battery removal) the device opens with "uncaught exception: Index 6>= 6" or "uncaught exception: Index 8>= 8" messages. I want to find out why, and solve the problem. Anyone who can be of assistance ???
