i am a newwbie in BB. Recently bought a Bold 9930. The phone was actually used with Sprint but now it is unlocked. I am using it with another GSM operator which is not listed in the Official OS update list.
Is it safe to update the OS which is given for Sprint? Please note that currently I am not using any data plan.
i got a problem, my blackberry 9930 show me white screen and error 102, cause a few days ago, i uninstall a application, and after ask me reboot, starts showing the problem, i try to starts safe mode, i just press escape key when goes out the red led, and just starts normally and allways shows Error 102.

I was change avatars, crop and save more than more but still won't update, and I ask to my friend, he/she said: your bbm display picture not update from 1 weeks ago. 1. Host Routing Table & Battery Pull
2. Delete & Reinstalling my BBM, Downgrade & Upgrade

I attemepted a OTA software update on my 9930. Yeah yeah yeah i know i'm a moron and shouldve done a wired update. Problem is the update is froze on 14% (has been for over 6 hours). Tried battery pulls, plugging it into my laptop, looked all over the place online. I'm not able to cancel the update. I've got a back up from a few months ago on my computer so i'm not even worried about wiping out the phone but i cant even figure out how to do that!

I've just got a replacement Nokia 5800 from Vodafone today as the last 2 weeks its been sent in for repair may have seen my other post on it's problem, anyways they couldn't fix it gave me a replacement 5800. I was using a temp Nokia 1661 and I recieved a text from Nokia I believe saying a new firmware was out for my Nokia 5800.
Since I have only just got it back I just wanna know if it's worth updating currently I'm using FW V31. And apart from that new Music Library I dont think its really worth the update if thats all it mainly does.

I figured the batt was dead but when tried to switch it on it would fully boot but show the home screen. I security wiped yesterday because of a problem with App world. Luckily the phone itself didn't go in.Outwardly the battery looks okay, except that a couple of the gold 'connection points' look a little oxidised. The device was disconnected. Reconnect your device and try again." So I did . . . three times. Same message each time. This doesn't happen every time, but at least 3 or 4 times a day. Is this a known problem with Blackberry or do I have to contact Verizon? Nothing has changed since I bought this new phone, such as where I use it, the carrier, etc. I have pulled the battery numerous times to see if that solved the problem, but it continues to happen regularly.

How can I go about switching the Blackberry service from my old phone to my new 9930?
I am able to make calls with the 9930 but have been unable to activate the Enterprise service on it. I have tried using the desktop software to switch devices but that seems to have only transfered the data from my old phone to the new one.
I bought my BBB 9930 several months ago, today my phone did not start. I tried everything, taking battery out for about an hour, direct connect to PC etc..Every 20 seconds the blackberry logo and bottom bar will slightly light up (faded low low light) and disappear right away then 2 seconds later the red light will turn on and off and then the same thing will happen again 20 seconds later into a loop.
