View 5 Replies View RelatedHaving been able to control my music via the supplied headset of my Music Express 5800 it has now stopped working. I can still hear perfectly well via it, but the volume control, stop, start of skip functions have now stopped. I'm not too sure the ability to answer the phone from it exists either. Can anyone tell me if this is due to the headset itself or if there's an option in the 5800 that I need to look at? If it's the latter I won't need to make a trip to the store.

View 3 Replies View RelatedNo matter what I do the WiFi on my Samsung Galaxy S6 does not work with certain apps and processes. It seems to be connected with Google- such as, pictures on the Play Store will not load, YouTube videos constantly are loading but never play and certain games think I am not connected to the internet at all. Things like web browsing and google search work fine however, but streaming is incredibly slow. This ONLY happens with my AT&T WiFi at home- WiFi in other locations works just fine. My WiFi signal is full strength at home. I constantly have to use my data services (T-Mobile) and everything works great then.
Here is what I already tried:
1. Changing my DNS settings to Google Server
2. Clear app data and caches
3. Uninstalling and reinstalling the apps
4. Complete factory reset of the device (and lost all my games from a corrupt backup file, with nothing working still)
When I was resetting my device, I knew the WiFi still wasn't working because when it tried to connect to my google account only and not my Samsung account (again- google seems to be where the problem happens) it was stuck at "getting info". But when I switched to data it worked.
I use a blackberry 9700. Recently, I tried opening my camera but it always says "Camera could not start. Close other applications and try opening again." I've closed all running applications in my phone but the Camera still won't start....

Nokia E52-1 (RM-469)
Firmware: 034.001
I have a Galaxy S5 with Lollipop through AT&T and had Best Buy install my Pioneer AVH-4100NEX. I updated the Pioneer firmware, set it up to look for Android Auto on USB2, Android Auto is set to start automatically, and I have the phone and Pioneer connected via Bluetooth. However, when I plug the micro-USB into the phone, all it does is start charging; nothing pops up saying the phone isn't compatible or anything else and I don't get the Android Auto ToS message. When I pull up the AV menu on the Pioneer, neither the USB1 nor USB2 icons are lit up. I've tried plugging the phone in with and without the Android Auto application installed. I double-checked and Best Buy did plug the USB into USB2 using the USB cable from the box. USB Debugging is enabled on the phone.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have been reading a lot about the Neo V and I am thinking about buying one but I have just found out something really disturbing: you cannot disable the light sensor. The auto brightness feature works in a way that is undesirable to most people because the screen is too dim when in a dark room or viewing a dark video. (I looked at a friend's Xperia Play, which I think has this same "feature"... it was so dim in a darker room that it was really unpleasant to use - is it the same with Neo V?)
I have read that the only possible way to get around this is root your phone and install an application that disables the light sensor.
Of course I do not want to root the phone because I do not want to risk my warranty. But this auto brightness feature bothers me so much that I might just not buy the phone at all because it would be really annoying to have this nice phone, but with a dark, dim screen. I know, it saves battery life, but what's the point of having a nice display with a dim screen.
Has this changed at all with the ICS update?
is it possible to disable auto lock on my phone (c2) ??? and how can i do it ?

I have minimal dataplan and would like to have email on the phone but I would like to restrict the frequency of download of new content. On my old iphone4 I can force it to not refresh unless I open the app. Lumia 920 seems to only have the options:As Items ArriveEvery 15 minEvery 30 minHourlyDailyAs I said, I dont have much of a data plan, only 200mb a month. And would only refresh/sync email when I decide to use the app and not let it run on a set schedule in the background as per synd drop down options.

I have a Bold 9700 on the Bell Network and have lost all the BB functions. Phone was working fine and then I lost all ability to access email and BBM.
The email icons are there but the BBM icon vanished along with all my other app icons (NHL, Weather, ZoomPass etc.). I've also noticed that the blackberry logo that is usually beside the 3G icon in the top right is also gone. What is weird is that the phone can still make calls, text and browse. Bell data support says everything is fine on there end. I've wiped the unit via JL_Cmder and reinstalled the latest OS 5.0.0.545 and still not working.

When opening emails I have no menu functions, when pressed the menu button returns me to home Page. All other menu functions seem to work OK

It is getting quite annoying. I have set the 'Show WLAN availabiliy' to Never in the WLAN settings but it still appears every now and then, probably when a network is nearby Im guessing.
View 21 Replies View RelatedMy dad has a Nokia 5800 and gets text messages usually with numbers in, but they aren't phone numbers but Symbian just thinks they are so the are red underlined and clickable (so you can easily dial that number). Now my question is: how do you disable this? The numbers are a bit harder to read when they are red underlined and the click feature is totally useless in this situation.I recall seeing this option on my E71 but I don't remember where.
