Blackberry Bold OS 7.1 Latest DM I have had my phone for a month and wifi sync was working fine all that time. I could see my home library and download from it as needed. Last night I tried to add an album and when it started to download it shut down and there was a message "missing files connect to DM via usb and sync. I could no longer see the option to "Show home library". The problem is that i forgot that I had deleted that album from itunes so they were no longer on the physical drive. I could not get rid of the missing files error so I deleted wifi sync application through DM. Removed all music and then synced up via usb again. I then reinstalled wifi sync. Now, I get the message "no computer library found". I don't know what changed but I have tried everything to get it back. It is a business phone so enterprise email and my business' IT policy dictates a lot but I do not see that this would interfere. IT policy has Mass media mode disabled. When I plug the phone into usb I have only "Charge only" or "Media sync" as options. If I choose "media sync" I have to enter my password and desktop software does not see the device. The only was for desktop software to see the device is when I plug it in I have to enter my password on my PC screen and not make a choice on the device (Media sync or charge only). It syncs fine through usb. I see my entire itunes (Or WMP I tried also to same effect) and I can sync the music I choose. But away from my pc and there is no way to see my home library anymore.
My device has found my library once, and I realized afterwards that it was an old library file because it included podcasts from 4-5 months ago. My "itunes library.itl" file is found here in Windows 7: %userprofile%My Musicitunes (if you put that into windows explorer it will bring me to the file, which is actually found in a non-standard location on a 2nd internal hard on my computer.
Would it be possible to change the sync program to look at relative URL's for "My Music" such as %userprofile%My Musicitunes instead of direct URL's like I'm guessing it is doing? this syncing tell me both the relative and direct URL for their ITL file?
Having issues with their Nexus 5 not finding their 5ghz Wifi network? My N7 does have some issues however if I toggle the airplane mode on it, it will find and connect the 5ghz network. However, on the N5 toggling airplane mode, restarting the phone, nothing seems to find it.The network is not hidden, though did try just entering the WiFi information to the phone to give it a try and it still didn't find or connect.I downloaded Wifi analyzer and it won't find the network either.
My computer is authorized, I have an iTouch that synchs my entire song library, but my iPhone will not synch my iTunes library. I've even gone as far to reset my iPhone two separate times and it still will not synch.
hie guys am trying to sync my library into my iphone and its not working, but if l purchase anything on my iphone when syncing it goes tocomputer itunes, l dnt knw if its to do with my settings?
In order to free up space on my IMac, I have moved all my itunes music to a portable hard drive. I ended up deleting the itunes library folder at the same time and consequently changed my defaulted itunes to the library folder within the hard-drive (which is attached to the computer at all times).
When launching itunes from the icon on the desktop, it launches the itunes within the hard-drive.
My issue now, is that I cannot transfer any of the music purchased in my i-phone to my i-tunes as it states the phone is synced to another library.
Is asks whether I want to sync it to the new one but I gather I will lose everything currently on my phone?
First, if I do proceed to sync it will it from now on sync to this itunes library and is there any way I can attempt to save the stuff already on it? Including music I've purchased from the i-tunes store and all my contacts?
how do I sync my apps to my itunes library, it is saying that it will erase all my apps on the phone and replace with library. I want it to be the apps on my phone...
I used to have multiple iTunes libraries that I eventually condensed into one, and I somehow cross-synced my iPhone and now it won't sync with any of them. (I get the "this iPhone is synced to another library, would you like to erare the contents and sync with this library" message.) I've tried the trick of copy/pasting the Persistent Library ID, but that doesn't seem to work (unless I'm doing it wrong). I'm A-OK with wiping all the music from the iPhone and loading it all again (if anything I'd prefer to do that now that I've unified my music libraries into one) and all of my contact and calendar items are properly synced with my main laptop. What I'm worried about are the other things on the iPhone (apps, photos, notes, recorded memos, etc.). Especially the apps. If I let iTunes wipe the phone to sync with my new library, will I retain those other items? Or will it wipe everything and I'll lose any apps that I've bought, photos stored on the phone, notes, etc.?

I have two I phones an old 3G and 4S.I use the 4S in the US and I planned to unlock the 3G in order to use it in France.I have itune on my computer and I would like to know if I can sync my two iphones on the same itune?
The laptop I had my iTunes on recently quit on me. I created a new user account on a desktop and proceeded to log into my iTune account. When I plugged in my phone it told me to "removed and erase" to sync the computer with my phone. I figured it would add all the music to the library on the computer. I agreed and all the music from my phone went in the library, however it was all removed from my phone. I tried to sync it up, and when I try it tells me there's nothing in my library to snyc except a recently added CD. Now I have no music on my phone, and only 2 GB of the 19 GB I had on my previous library.
Is there a gmail app for the blackberry. I have an aol email, and now a new email supported by gmail. I currently get my aol email on my blackberry, but can only view my gmail on the web browser. Is there a way to get both?
I recently bought a new computer and when i plug my ihpone in it says its syncing but it doesnt update the library on my phone with all the new purchases ive made on itunes. My ipod nano works fine. I have authorized my new computer.
On another topic I am also extremly confused and irritated by this new update for ihpone 4's. Why is it that the update will delete ALL my files off my phone. Songs, videos, conttacts apps. Things I have spent hundreds possibly of dollars and ALOT of time over the years accumulating.
My wife's iphone was tied to a laptop iTunes library. The laptop's hard drive died some time ago, and she has since refused to update the iOS version or sync the phone with another computer, for fear of losing access to the considerable amount of non-iTunes MP3s that were formerly on her laptop, and are now only stored on her iPhone.
So my question is twofold:
1) Can I update the iOS for her without syncing the itunes library on the phone? She is currently running iOS 3.1.3 (7E18). If I can update it, how do I do so safely?
2) Is there any way to set up a new iTunes library on her new laptop without destroying the music library she already has on the phone?
My goal would be to simply get the iOS version and iTunes database up to the latest version, so we can subscribe her to the iCloud service and back up all her music.
My Macbook OS X 10.6.8 will not recognize my new iphone 4S - therefore I can't get my itunes library to sync up.I have dowloaded the new version of itunes, restarted the computer, restarted the phone, etc.
I have only just got my first HTC phone. I think its quite good so far, however I am have trouble trying to sync with my PC. I have downloaded and installed the latest sync software from the HTC website, then plugged in the phone and selected the HTC sync option. The PC recognises that the phone is plugged in and starts the software start up screen and displays the message 'updating htc library' in the bottom right hand corner. This is as far as I can get and the software eventually times out and closes!!! I have tried on another PC and the same error occurrs!
When I connect my BB Bold 9700 to the laptop by USB the clock appears, the battery icon shows a plug but then I get the message that it will not charge. The phone cannot be detected by the desktop software (finds it no problem on Bluetooth). I have seen that the mass storage function must be turned on. However with OS6 there appears to be no way of doing this as the media card does not appear in Options.
I recently went on the properties of a user made picture folder and ticked the 'hidden' option. The function works a little too well, as I can't find the folder anywhere and I don't know how to get it back!
When try to download my wifi to my motoactv I keep getting the following message: The scam for wifi networks library failed.Check to see that the access point is on and that it is configured with WPA, WEP or no encryption.
Like the title says, I need to have a way to record some phone conversations. I know some will say that I have to advise the person I'm talking to, I intend to.I've looked everywhere for an app to do that and didn't find a single thing. Unfortunately this is important enough for me to change phones if I can't do it on my Bold. But I don't want to change this awesome phone.
