BB Bold :: Password Has Changed, Old One Won't Work

As it sits right now I am on attempt 10/10. I am not sure what has happened. I was attempting to install a program through Blackberry World via the computer. I got to the part where the computer asked me to plug my phone into the computer. I then selected the PIN number for my phone and the computer said I have the password on and needed to enter it. Well I tried my password and it failed, tried a few more time and it failed. I disconected my phone and tried to gain entery but the password window was no longer **** out the password but was actually using letters and numbers.
I have my work emails fed to my Bold and all has worked well until today - when I was required by my trusty employer to update my Outlook password. As I have tried to follow the instructions from Blackberry (the verify form message), I have gotten stuck in a loop. I go to "Setup" -> "Email account" and click on it. This takes me to "Email Accounts" where I choose option "Internet Mail Account" (it is not an Enterprise account). Click. Now I am back at the previous screen. This loop is nauseatingly repeatable. I have also noticed that, I can really lock up my phone depending on how I exit the Setup app.
Battery removing time. So I have also been trying to simply remove the email account altogether and have been stymied at that as well. I went to the folder for the Outlook emails, chose "Options" then "Email Account Management". And I always get this popup: "Unable to open email setup application. Contact your wireless service provider." Meanwhile, and just for clarification, the other email account (Yahoo) is still receiving mail -- got one while I've been typing this. Thus I cannot get to the settings to change the account/password, and I cannot just delete the account outright. So far as I know.
I got a new pay as you go sim chip through rogers and so i had to enter my berry ID username and password. when i did it told me it was wrong, so i went on my laptop and changed my password and tryed agian and it is still telling me that it is wrong. i am 100% sure that i am entering the right username and password as i have them sitting right in front of me on my laptop and am able to sign into it on my laptop, yet when i try and enter it into my phone it tells me it is wrong, ive entered it 9/10 times and now i dont know what to do
I wanted to shorten my original password from 6 characters to 4 so I went into Settings and chaged it now it reads my 'new password' as wrong and disbles my phone. CAn anyone give me a hand with this one??
i changed my password on iPhone 5, the iphone is lock now.i dont want to restore because i dont have any backup and i have many photos and movies of my grandmother who died last year.
My password doesn't work anymore : How can I change it without cancell all my datas? Since my computer assistant helped me to synchronise my BB's datas with my computer (in which he did not succeed), my password is not anymore crypted on my telephone, and it doesn't work anymore !!! So I can not use anymore my contact list or my calendar. How can I change my password or make in sort that it works again like before, BUT NOT cancelling all my datas on it?(which are not on my computer, neither on the SIM card. As you can imagine, it is very important for me...
This is my first post so I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong section. My girlfriend has an iphone 4s and an ipad2. Her appleid password has recently been changed without her authorization. Even her security questions have been altered so her original answers are rejected. She's tried using iforgot and the appleid support website but since her info has changed she doesn't receive an email from said site. She called apple support and the tech told her that she would need to pay for support ($69.99) over the phone since it's been 90 days from when she purchased both products.
I keep getting a prompt on my LG G3 saying "Authentication Required. Password has been changed". My password has NOT been changed. My emails are not updating and it will not let me manually update either. when I do that I get this authentication message again.
I somehow managed to change my screenlock password, it used to be a four-digit code.I had the phone in my pocket for a while and after that I can't get in.s there anything I can do besides reseting to factory settings? If I connect the phone to my computer I can't reach any data on the phone so I can't save pictures and stuff like that so I'm not very keen on reseting the whole thing. read somewhere that I might be able to use my gmail-account but I don't have that option. When I type in the wrong password five times it just says I have to wait for 30 seconds. Over and over again..
I have changed my email password on my gmail account using the web browser on my desktop. But I am having difficulty accessing the email settings on my Torch so that I can tap in the new password. I go to "Set up" and then have the choice of "Internet mail account" or "Enterprise account". I click on the first one and get a page entitled "existing users". I then have to tap in my user name and password. I assume this refers to my blackberry username and password. But when I tap the info in and press "continue" I get a message saying "The user name is invalid. A user name must be at least 4 characters". My user name is my gmail address which includes 16 letters before @gmail.com.
I CHANGED my font from English to Persian but my password is in English and I can't enter my password now. How can I change my font before enter my password to use my phone,? Why can't I use my key board setting for change the font?
I changed my iCloud password, I'm able to receive mails in my computer but not in my iPhone, Also my iPhone shuts down from time to time even if the battery is almost full. When I reopen it, it changes the hour. If there something I can do alone or do I need to take the iPhone to a technichian?
Yesterday I changed my Apple ID Password. Since then when I try to make a FaceTime Audio call from my iPad or my iMac it get a Call Failed Using iPhone message. Â
My iPad sees my iPhone as far as using the Hotspot and FaceTime has my phone number listed as the one to use. Â
I had a 3g phone and had it set up with iTunes everything was great. I upgraded to a 4s and when now I try to sign in with iTunes it won't let me. I tried to create a new account and it won't let me. Not sure where i'm going wrong;( I even tried authorizing this computer at work to sign in and all it says at the top is accessing iTunes store but never signs me in.
I had to change the password for my microsoft live account today, and since then the Store will not download any apps. I've updated the 'email & accounts' section for the new password, but the Store still won't download anything.
Do I need to delete and reinstall my e-mail account in order to send/reply emails? The same email account on my computer works fine it is just on the iPhone and iPad I cannont send/reply.
While i was using my Nokia 1208 last night, it spontaneously turned off. When i turned it back on and typed in my PIN, it requested a security code. The default 12345 wouldn't work and i have never changed the code. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me and the first time it was just impossible to fix it so i bought a new 1. Can some please help or post of you have had a similar problem!
My iphone password screen will not accept my password. It doesn't work. How do I disable the password or reset it? This is the password that comes up after you slide the arrow to open the phone on the home screen. I have upgraded to the IOS 5 software
My Call Log used to show up on my main screen. I changed my theme, and now I cannot find it at all. Does anyone know how to find it and place it on the Menu screen?
Device info Your carrier: Celcom Malaysia Model: 9780 OS: OS6 Battery Pull didn't solve my issue. my previous sim card had a problem and I had to change sim card but still keep the phone number.Now when I managed to change sim, the BB Protect gave me a notification within the app itself notifying me about my sim card being changed. Being prompted to login using BB ID to verify this change, I tried to log in but it was with no success. Now, my 9780 isnt connected to BIS regardless of having 3G coverage.I also had BB Protect on with my previous sim, when I changed card it gave me a message to confirm this change and asked to login with my BB ID, but tried over wifi and BIS but cant connect.
Having so much diffculties, I made a backup on my pc and run the security wipe. But, still unsuccessful.I tried rebooting, called my telco but still no success. Also, my telco told me that BB Protect had nothing to do with any of this and I'm from Malaysia.
I have had a Bold 9780 (OS 6.0 Bundle 2647) on Vodafone UK since January. I basically went to bed, and my phone was fine. I woke up and it looked like this:
It's actually alternating as I use it between this screen, the normal screen, and a weird mix of both.
I pulled the battery - no change! The last upgrade I did was yesterday for App World so don't think this would have affected it. I did have the LCD screen replaced back in April after an accidental knock but I've not had any other issues with the screen. The handset itself is still working as normal, and I look after it pretty well so can't understand what has happened.
Normal settings changed to something or other - guessing Default? Nothing done here on my end other than a couple app installs and then uninstalls. All the alert tones and default ringtone went to something other than what they were.
I day tripped it from the UK to the Netherlands. Without any obvious intervention from me Input Langauage changed from English to something else - a completely different alphabet. How can I avoid it happening again? It was a big problem because my password is in English!
