View 4 RepliesI would definitely consider the M8 the problem is that there is no widget for the included email app. That's a key feature. Being able to see my inbox from my home screen is something I do all the time. I don't want to have to buy a 3rd party app for email (and only maildroid offers this at 19.95). Especially since an email client is built in. Any widget that works with the built in email app that will let me see my inbox without opening the app?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am recently facing disheartening issues with the native e-mail client of Samsung Galaxy S5.All the time the message "e-Mail has stopped" keeps popping up. No matter if I run the client, or not. I had two accounts on that (work & private).
First, it occured just on calling the mails, but then it occured on reading them, too. I tried clearing the cache, clearing the data, force halting the app. And it got worse. While I had to try to look at my e-mails to obtain the error, I now just have to have a lit screen and the message keeps popping every 3 seconds now, even if the app does not run.
When I try to set up my gmail account in the Email section of my Samsung galaxy 6, the Gmail app launches and traps me.
View 1 Replies View Relatedi updated my bold recently and when i did the task app and memo pad was taken off my phone and i have looked everywhere and went into the At&t store but they weren't able to do anything and i'm on a mac with no access to a pc. I have OS 5.0 and i have done a battery pull after i restored it with the task app selected and it still didn't work.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI love the native browser except for how it displays crackberry.com forums. The text is microscopic no matter which text size I set it at. I do know that I have to pull the battery for a text change to update (.405 software), but even that doesn't seem to change the forum's font size while other sites like ESPN and Facebook are affected.
The Opera cursor is way too laggy for me but that broswer displays the forums great and the BerryBlab app is way too slow for loading the forums and threads.I this an issue with my OS? How do you guys view the forums in native browser?
After searching on my V10 yesterday when I needed to record some audio I realized there's no native recorder?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI just got google mobile app and I see here that there's a gmail app as well which I installed. Just wondering which of you guys use most when you have gmail as your main email? The native messages app or the gmail app for BB? Also the google search app is pretty nice but I don't see any use for it when I already have the Browser icon in my home screen.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI feel like its slowed over time. Not only does the phone sometimes take a good 3+ seconds to find the name I type in in the search box but after I input text and hit the send button, at times it could take 5 seconds to actually go out. Is this the individual app itself or am I having an overall processing problem?
View 11 Replies View RelatedI've seen other threads talking about the use of MyWii, but I'd like to know if anybody has native tethering working yet under the following scenario:
- Iphone 3GS (JB with Pwnage)
- Bootroom 5.11.07
- Grandfathered AT&T unlimited data plan (or international unlimited data plan)
-Pwnage 4.01
- Ultrasn0w (optional)
I purchased the Photon recently because it stated that it supported SIP connectivity. Well it appears it doesn, but only over WIFI, unless you use Google talk.It appears that Sprint is attempting to keep users from using SIP over their data network, as everything that I have found indicated it is not possible as the feature in Android is disabled. I've seen where people have rooted other versions of Motorola Android devices to get around this, but have not seen if this is possible on the Photon.
It seems very near sited for this feature to be turned off.I get the minutes of use perspective for Spring, but fail to see how it supports the data network service they claim is entirely open - as obviously it is not. As companies chose to deploy Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) more and monre in Corporate America, it will only ensure they can't us Sprint, as the ability for their employes to support their open SIP network while off site will be limited to only when they are on a wifi network. And, as video become a bigger part of their business, having support on the data plan will become a bigger part of their business.
I would like to request Foursquare integration into the Ovi Maps application. There is currently no working nativeFoursquare app for Symbian. Nokia would do very well to integrate it cleverly into Maps.

View 15 Replies View RelatedCan anyone provide details or know anything about the tasks app (as in "to do list") that comes with the XYBoard 8.2? In playing around, I actually thinks a really well done app. Simple and clean. I have one screen on my XYBoard with just that widget and have been asking tasks, checking this off, and getting things done. my life is more than just the tablet. I'd like to be able to access to the list from the web and my Bionic. I know there are plenty of task/to do apps out there. I just can't seem to find out what this specific one is and wanted to know if someone could clue me in.Is it native as of Honeycomb 3.2? Was if provided by Moto or Verizon? Or is this one of their hand-picked apps for productivity that came preinstalled.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWith the wealth of programming in the BB OS, it just seems anomalous that nobody has made a nice, rich and accessible business-type calendar/datebook that can sync with a desktop version so that new items can be typed in, instead of relying on the functional-but-certainly-slower onscreen method. And, so the calendar can be viewed from the desktop when appropriate.
I come from a long history of smartphones, from Kyocera through Palm, etc., and never thought to come up against this particular brick wall. So since RIM hasn't devised one, I thought I'd search the Web Store and find one, but specialized calendars seem to be the rule.Tried Google Calendar, but so far it won't sync with the RIM datebook.

View 3 Replies View RelatedToday the native calendar (green one) on my Galaxy S5 stopped syncing with my Google calendar. When I checked the settings there were no calendars listed. When I try to add a calendar, the app crashes. In addition to that, all the appointments on my phone have been deleted. The calendar is version 1.0.
It also will not sync to Outlook, which it had done previously.
Wife just got iPhone4s and wants to e-mail video she took to friends--it is about 5 minutes long and file is something like 350 MB (so I assume it is high def format). Anyhow, too long to e-mail so is there a simple way to compress (to maybe 384X286 for example) either within iPhone or using some free program she could use on her Vista laptop.

After installing the Gingerbread upgrade, I don't see a Settings > Call Settings > Accounts option like in this video. Is the native Gingerbread SIP client not part of the 1.3.232 upgrade? Or have I just not found it on my device?

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhether it was my recent os upgrade to 517 or the new BIS 3.0, but something amazing has happened to my native browser. It went from being frustratingly slow and almost unusable to lightning fast! Its so different I have been thinking of it as a whole new app.I used to use Opera Mini exclusively, and had even gone as far as to "hide" the icon for the bb browser, but that has all changed. I haven't even booted up OM in a couple of days. Has any one else noticed this incredible change? Is it the new BIS or was my it 517 upgrade? Most pages now load in less than 3 seconds!
