Aug 13, 2012I'm using Foursquare on a Nokia N8-00.I notice that the built-in GPS is always being used by Foursquare even if it's already connected to the internet anyway. Naturally, this takes up more battery power because 2 connection types are being used at the same time.Now, I know that this can also be changed by unchecking the "integrated GPS" in Positioning, under the Application Settings.What I'd like to know is if there is a way to unable it but only for Foursquare so that I do not need to go to my settings to turn it on every time I want to use my GPS apps such as Garmin Mobile XT or Nokia Maps.

Sep 12, 2011I have a Blackberry Bold 9900 here and when I put the battery in, the phone turns on (Red LED lights up) then goes to a black screen with a white battery icon on it with a RED cross through it, plus a spinning hourglass.

BB Bold :: Starting Without The SIM Card?
Dec 7, 2011I removed my SIM from my BlackBerry and I started it without the SIM. It is actually asking me the BlackBerry ID password.
If I click on Cancel button the device is asking me the confirmation of "Deleting data from the device".
I would like to know which data will be removed from the device.
BB Bold :: Error Starting App
Aug 22, 2011I have a bold 9780 for like half a yr and from one day, when I tried to start an app, it said "error starting app: error loading module, too many applications loaded." instead of opening that app for me. It's been like this for quite a while and more and more newly downloaded apps from that day on started to have this prob; sometimes when I restart my bb it would get back to normal but sometimes not. Is it because my bb's memory's running low or some other issues?

Jan 15, 2010I woke up in the middle of the night and saw my bberry at the start up screen with the white bar. It was at the 75%. I don't recall installing any apps before i slept which would require a reboot. So, i pull out the battery and reinsert it. It was still stuck at 75%. Tried it a few times this morning and still at the start up screen. I need help ASAP!
I called T-Mobile and they said a file is corrupted and would need to send me a replacement.Is there anything i could do?

Jul 7, 20129900 getting switched off again and again and not starting untill i pull out the battery and put it back again.its really annoying and started happening all of a sudden, i have been using my phone from past 4 months.never had any problem.i even upgraded from 7.1.0.342 to 7.1.0.523 as a solution but no change. deleted all my apps also ,still not solved . and wiped my handset 2 to 3 times.

Nov 13, 2011I found some applications, such as foursquare and Dropian, cannot be installed on my E7. Other applications, such as Gravity and Y-Browser, were installed without a problem though. I tried both of Ovi Store on the device itself and Ovi Store on PC, but both failed. I am not sure, but I guess it might be related to a Qt issue because Dropian is a Qt-based application. For your reference, my device firmware is up-to-date.

Nov 3, 2011It turns that a new version of foursquare is available - running on Qt and requiring Nokia's "smart" installer to install it. However, when the installer gets to "Installing 2 of 6" it fails and gives the message "Installation Failed" followed by "To continue this installation later, select this icon in your application menu".
I have Googled and Googled and haven't managed to find a solution that doesn't require me to install a modified version of Symbian. Nothing else, including uninstalling and reinstalling the installer has worked.

Nov 19, 2011I have a BB Bold 9780 with an older version of software on it (cannot confirm as device is white screened with error messages on it).The device was showing Error 561, so I attempted a software update to fix fault.The device has completed the install but cannot connect to the device to reboot - have retried 3 times and waited the half an hour each time only to get an error message on PC.More than one PC tried, still showing fault.Error 507 on the support pages suggests the device does not have OS on it, is there anyway to reload this without Desktop Manager?
