BB Bold :: Cannot Add Bbm Contacts

I recenly updated my BBM on my device BB Bold 9900 and ever since then can't accept BBM invitations and Invites sent shows only as "Pending for Authorization" but recipients are not receiving them either. Tried sending PIN messages but I got a red x next to the message and the status says: "Service Blocked" . Anway, that happening, I assumed I don't need to re-send all my BBM friends invites since some friends was able to communicate with me. But for those who have deleted my profile (knowing it got lost) and were still on my contact list were the ones affected. I tried deleting them and sent an invite only to find out that I can't accept BBM invitations and invites sent shows as "Pending for Authorization" but recipients are not receiving any. (they also have the same pending for authorization notice on their end) When I tried to send them a PIN message I get a red x next to the message nd get the service blocked message.

Trying to Sync via PC patch cable the BB Address Book (Contacts) with MS Outlook Contacts.Set-up failing apparently because wireless data sync with the Bold is turned ON. Can't locate referenced setting on the device to turn OFF.

My apologies if this is discussed somewhere else, I looked, couldnt find it. So does anybody know of an easy way to sync my contacts FROM my blackberry TO my gmail contacts? I have google sync on my phone, but that only messed up my contacts by dumping a bunch of duplicates into my BB contacts and it doesnt seem to reverse sync. I have since deleted my gmail contacts so I dont suffer this fate again, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to reverse sync from BB to gmail.

Have a new Bold 9780. I placed the SIM card from my old phone (which contained lots of contacts) into it, however the contacts do not show up in the contact list on my blackberry, so I cannoy access them to send text messages or make telephone calls.I've received a call from one of the numbers, and the name that it was saved under on my SIM showed up, so something appears to be there somewhere, but how do I access them as 'proper' contacts?

I bought my bold 9900 last november and back then I connected the phone to the computer and switch from the 9700 that i own previously. Since then I never connected the phone to the computer again until yesterday to update the software. In the middle of my first attempt to update there was a crash so I started again but for my surprise after de update has finished and i reinitiate the handset it seems that almost eveything was wiped out, I had to reinstal all the applications and when the phone was on it came the option the contacts from sim to be installed but then i have some contacts missing and part of the info of some of the ones that still there are also missing, the weird thing is the pictures that i had in the phone are all there.... DO you think theres anyway to get the contacts back? SHould I restore from the backup of the 9700 that i did when i bought the new phone?

Contacts on my BB Bold 9780 are messed up, while the ones on my desktop are still good. Can I "force" a sync to use the desktop Contacts to overwrite the handheld Contacts?

I have a Bold 9000 that keeps going to contacts no matter what icon I click on.I tried upgrading the OS and the phone worked fine for about an hour and then went straight back to only going to contacts. The same thing happens when I downgrade.I am unable to make calls or do anything from the contacts list. The phone is basically unusable.
I have tried the upgrade and battery pull and restore from back up.Does anyone have any suggestions of what this could be and how to fix it.

How can I delete all contacts from the phone memory on my Bold 9780? I've only seen options to delete single entries but not all in the list.
I noted that under contacts, there are email, phone, facebook entries. How can I configure the contacts to only display phone contacts?

I have had a BB9900 for a few months and my e-mail, calendar, contacts and tasks were in sync with the BES run by my company. I have downloaded several free gift apps from the App World. Some of the apps asked for access to the personal information on the phone. Now the Contacts app that came with the phone says "No Contacts" No filters are applied. I have uninstalled the apps that have been installed. How do I get my contacts to display once again?

I got a new BB 9700 Bold yesterday and having problems with setting up the sync for the calendar and the contacts which are on my outlook. My hotmail email accounts are working okay. The outlook is on my PC and is the front face for my hotmail accounts.
When I go in to the BB Desktop device manager - version 5.0.1 (latest version) , I go in to the configure option on the left and it lets me click on calendar> then I select outlook and it then lets me select 'finish'. However at this stage an error box flashes up saying 'no available message stores'.
In addition when I check the wifi config on the calendar and contacts icons on the BB device it will not let me select yes on the wireless connection for them.

Hi , I need to display only Sim contacts in phone contacts option rather than contacts that are saved in memory card. According to me knowledge there is a bug in these cell phone perhaps if you have any old nokia phone you may find this option.

adding new contacts? When I go to my contacts book - to "new contact" and click to add -- nothing happens - it's as if I didn't click it - or else it freezes up and I have to do a hard reboot. Same thing if I go to the call log and click to "add to contacts" -- nothing happens.
This phone is only 9 months old - still under warranty. Best Buy has turfed me to the Blackberry site.

I have a Bold 9900. All of a sudden I can't see any of my contacts. After installing the latest version of the Blackberry Desktop Software I can't choose to sync my contacts in Organizer. It says it is not available. I have turned off wireless sync in Contacts on my phone.When I go to Contacts > Menu > Options > my contact list it says I have 2,826 entries. If I call someone by dialing their number their name appears on the phone screen. What can I do so that I can see my contacts again? What can I do so that I can enable syncing of my contacts via the Desktop Software?

Just upgraded to the 9700 from the 8900. Having issues synchronizing the address book through the DM. It synchs only 3/4 of the addresses and none of the email addresses. For example I have 361 contacts. It synchs only 290 of them and leaves off all the email addresses on all of them. Never had an issue synching before on the 8900 or 8350i.

It was fine until Monday when the contacts did it again. It also deleted all the information that was added to each contact (like facebook, email, picture etc) and defaulted itself to a standard work number. It would show doubles of some contacts, three of others, and some even four. I then went to AT&T and they just looked at me like I was stupid, saying that it was because I synced my phone to my computer. Well for starters, I don't have an address book on my computer, and I don't know how to used outlook. Also, I've synced my phone with my computer several times before with no issues.I then went home, called AT&T and the Blackberry Department and still nothing. They said it was all a syncing issue. So after all that being said, I re-deleted the extras and re-organized a few.
Today I noticed that when I linked one of my BBM contacts (she had gotten a new pin) to her contact info, the address book again duplicated itself. So I am guessing this is the problem? Is there away I can link BBM Pins to Contact Info without it duplicating all my contacts and deleting their other information? I'm really crazy when it comes to organizing, and I can't keep having my contacts getting messed up continously.

I am changing from a 9700 to a 9790. I have a ton of contacts in the old phone's internal memory and need to move them all to the SIM card so I can pass the info into the new phone. Is there a way to copy all the contacts at once to the SIM card? Otherwise I'll spend a week moving them one by one.

I have the Blackberry 9700 V5.0.032,I had my email sync with the contacts but then it duplicated all my contacts list when I already had the settings to 'NO' In duplicated names. I found out you can erase the duplicated names by pressing Option -> then press letters RSET --> which deleted ALL my contacts clean instead. I tried to put the names and numbers back into my phone but it wont let me save and so now I don't have any contacts on my phone.

I have a BB Bold 9900 ( v7.0.0296,Platform 5.0.0.496 ) I've done a full back up yesterday using Blackberry Desktop Software ( Bundle 34 ) so i was trying to restore the data, and everything seemed to be restored except the contact list, i tried to restore the contact list seperatly, but out of 322 numbers only 42 were restored! I tried to do it over and over again, the same number of contacts was restored, but never all of them !
