Client's pin-to-pin messages were being blocked by the BB's firewall. Once this option is unchecked, is there any way to recover and view the previously blocked pin-to-pin messages, or do they need to be resent?

But I'm loving it!My question is about my hotmail account.
When I send messages from the BB they do not appear in my outlook 07 and vice versa, is there a way to make it do this?I would also like to get all of my old message from outlook (pre BB) onto the BB for reference, is this possible?
I am the proud owner of a Bold 9780, and I can't seem to view received multimedia messages, such as pictures. There is this "download now" button, but nothing happens when I click... Also, I can't send pictures. There's a red X on the left of the message I tried to send. The data services are turned on in my settings, and my plan includes picture messaging (but it doesn't include any other data).

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am a new 9700 user and am struggling a bit with SMS converstations with contacts who are also in my BB Messenger list.These conversations are showing as collapsed in the SMS view. They also appear in the BB Messenger conversations view but if I restart the handset they disappear from there and only appear in the SMS view.
I have attached an image of a "collapsed" SMS message. Look carefully at the blue horizontal line directly above Mon 18 Jan 2010. If I click on this, the conversation expands.Any thoughts on how I can prevent this from happening and have all SMS conversations visible. Ideally I would like to keep SMS and BB Messenger chats separate but am struggling to do this even after removing the link between the BB Messenger contact and the contact in my address book.

Problem: By default text messages are in conversation view.
1) Does "Asha 308" Support folder "View Flders"?
2) If yes then please tell the method!
3) If not then how can this feature be suggested to Nokia, so it can in incorporated in any new mobile software release.
My 9700 recently started not letting me view my new text messages. For example, sometimes I get forwarded chain texts and it won't let me view them, it'll show a random block of text and that's it. And if I try to reply to it, it won't show me my reply, it's only doing this with a few contacts, but it's still extremely annoying.I've tried uninstalling my third party apps and it didn't fix it, is it a setting I have to change or does anyone know anything?

1-I can't send or receive texts from certain contacts (right now it only seems to be from my boyfriend, we're both on At&t).
2-My text threads lock-up. A new text comes in, but I can't actually open the message. I can open all the previous messages, but any message at the top won't open.
Everything is superb however 1 thing is annoying me and i cant seem to sort it, ive had a look round the forum and cant see this elsewhere.
When viewing "Messages" im getting Emails but its also displaying BBM messages too, the help files say check Filters but i dont even have that as an option when clicking Menu > Options. I just want Emails displayed in messages nothing else, SMS and MMS is together in another view, which is fine.
I have separated email from SMS/MMS messages.When I select the SMS icon I can see SMS messages from a specific date ~7 days ago, but nothing more recent. When I select View Folder and select SMS Inbox I can see all my SMS messages up until current.Does anyone know how to fix the corrupt SMS/MMS icon (which is presumably pointing to a corrupt view of the SMS Inbox)?

Anyway i put the battery back in and now i can't recieve text messages, i recieve the notification for them and so i click to view but they have dissapeared from my inbox so i have no idea what any of my messages say. I have an iphone 4 (not 4s) my phone company is chargin me an incredible high number of text messages while I was out of the country, that was 2 months ago. I want to know if there is a way to look for messages by date and not by person I texted, because I really dont remember who do I texted or if I really texted, so I been looking around all my messages for about 2 weeks but I have lots and lots of friends so it is impossible.

I recently just noticed that 3 of my contacts messages are being stored together when i group messages by contact as well as in the conversation window.The only thing in common with all these contacts is that they all have the same surename because their first names and contact numbers are all different.Is there anyway I can stop this from happening and seperate the messages that have previously been grouped togtether?

I think i have the same problem with a few BlackBerry Users out there. I can't view SMS even though there's clearly a notification stating that i've a new SMS. I need to go to View SMS inbox to view the message.
