Jul 16, 2012I've got a customer who is using a 9900, but the network/battery/date/time bar is missing. All you can see in that part of the screen is his wallpaper.

BB Bold :: H+ Network Option Missing On Unbranded 9900?
Sep 14, 2011I've bought Unbranded Bold 9900, all thing works perfectly.Except the Network Option.. I can't set the network to H+ like 9900 from Rogers/Bell/Telus..Here in Indonesia, my carrier offering & provide H+ Network,but I can't change my unbranded 9900 network to H+..My friends also bought 9900 from Rogers Canada,he bring it to Indonesia, and he also used the same carrier like mine who support H+ Network..In his Rogers 9900 he can switch the network option to 3G/H+,he got H+ symbol at the signal bars, and he can enjoy the H+ network.My question is:Can I have the H+ network option in Unbranded 9900 ?So, I can enjoy too the H+ services on my carrier..Is there a difference between unbranded 9900 and 9900 rogers ?

May 27, 2015I have a S6 edge and trying to find out where is the network mode can be found. Far is I know, it should be under the "mobile network" menu, but is not there. All I have under the "mobile networks" menu is: Mobil data, International Data Roaming, Access Point Names and Network operators. None of these including the "network mode".
If I try to find it in the search, it takes me straight to where is should be, but again, is not there.

May 27, 2012I used the internet normally, untik such a time that i decided to chance my network from zain to mobily (networks from KSA), however, i cannot chage the APN since it is missing. im rinning ai IOS 5.1.1 iphone 4S. how could i bring back the cellular data network? as far as i know i have that before (IOS 5) and im not sure if the update took it off or some other reason.

Jun 24, 2010So, I opted to do a restore on the new iPhone 4 from a 3G running iOS4 image. Everything seems to have restored just fine but I've noticed that the battery level percentage isn't being reported on the top of the screen. I've crawled through the settings and can't find anything on changing this.Was wondering if anyone else had run into this or if I'm going to need to bite the bullet and build the phone up from scratch. To be honest this shouldn't be necessary, but could be my only option.
BTW, my reason for doing the restore is simply a matter of data. I have several apps that contain 2 or more years of information. Most have a "save/restore" feature but several don't. Even those that do have their own unique way of saving which will add time to building the new phone.

May 28, 2012When we broght the Unit from Dealer, Though it was packed we found Battery was missing from the unit. When we took this case with the dealer he said as the Box was packed he cannot do anything and we will have to take this case with RIM.Later as we wanted to used the unit urgency we procurred another battery from Blackberry Store, But we found that the battery backup is not at all great. As a customer we deserve a Battery to be part of the Whole unit.

Jul 4, 2011I've looked all over the web, my instruction manual, the index inside the phone, and in still cannot find the meaning of this symbol in the middle of my battery bar. From what I've seen on the internet, its as almost as if it does not exist. I would probably believe so if it was not for the fact that I am staring at it right now as I type this. I have had problems with the USB port on it before and I am pretty sure that has something to do with it. Also when Its plugged into the computer and the port and USB are finally working in unison, the computer says that it is malfunctioned.

Also yes i already have all saving modes on Since day one and i don't keep data,wifi,nfc or anything on if i don't use them.
Also im missing the download manager app the app that show what you downloaded . Its uninstallable also its running inside Since on apps it isn't disabled. My friends have z3s and they all have it on apps except me ... why?

Mar 7, 2012I had recently downloaded and installed the new os 7.1.0.267 os from SK Telecom form the software download page of on blackberry site to my bold 9900. Upon doing that i was able to access the new mobile hot spot feature and even set it up for use after calling my service provider for the APN which is Lime Jamaica. I even tested it by using another phone which detected it. However sometime afterwards about 30 minutes to an hour later while listening to music my headset got pull out by mistake and upon putting it back in realized music wouldn't start playing back after pressing the side button. Unlocked the phone only to see the play icon highlighted in music player but nothing wouldn't register when clicked with trackpad or touch screen. plus got a message on the screen saying that device media player was busy, which continued for a while. Did a battery pull afterwards which fixed the problem. However a few hours later when i decided to show a friend the new feature and test it by connecting his phone, upon accessing the connections menu the mobile hot spot option was missing even in networks and connections. essentially it disappeared form the phone the only apps on the phone besides the default ones was wikitude and whatsapps. Even after a factory reset it didn't return. Did a clean wipe of the os and installed the os again upon which the hot spot option returned only to disappear again after about a few minutes at which time no extra apps was insatlled just the default ones. Have no idea whats causing this and whats worse the 7.1.0.267 download has been removed from the Sk Telecom link.

Jan 24, 2010I recently upgraded to v5.0.0.411 and have had almost no problems so far. One problem I have had though is whenever I do a battery pull my battery instantly says it's drained upon starting back up. Today it went from 50% to 15% after one pull. I know it is a false reading because recently it went from around 50% to 3%(the yellow low battery light was flashing when I turned it back on as well), however, I was able to use the phone for hours after this and it remained at 3%. From what I've read I'm thinking this might be a problem with the battery or battery contacts? But it's strange that it started happening as soon as I upgraded my OS to 5.0. Any suggestions or info?

Whenever I do a battery pull my battery indication after reinsertion reads 0% and shows the battery as red. My battery indicator before the battery pull will read anywhere from 80% to 50% but after the battery pull the indicator changes to read zero and is shown in red. If I don't charge the phone it will die even though prior to the battery pull the charge was fine at 80% or so...
I'm pulling the battery because of memory shortages. I HAVE replaced the battery and I still get the same problem. Pulling the battery after this happens changes nothing. I've pulled the battery numerous times afterwards and I never get the battery indicator to read what it did before the battery pull. I don't dare pull the battery if I'm not near my charger as the phone will die in a matter of minutes...

Feb 3, 2010Now that I have upgraded to 5.0 OS, what is the best battery app out there to advise when your battery gets to a certain level. I noticed on the 5.0 OS it gives no warning and when you reboot, it drains the battery fast. Twice after rebooting my battery was low and my BB just shuts off with NO warning. I grant you my battery was approx. 35% before rebooting. It seems that the battery monitor on the BB is not accurate.
