BB Bold :: Apps - Jammed On "Please Wait"
Nov 21, 2011I requested for my Password Recovery and now the screen is stuck on "Please Wait" - won't allow me to do anything. Even switching the phone off dose not help.

Jul 26, 2010I currently have a Tour and I'm considering upgrading my phone and my dad's 8330 to Bolds. With my NE2, buy one get one free and an early upgrade promotion they offered me, I can get both for only sales tax (about $45 each). I want to have a phone that can utilize OS6.0 (webkit) so if LTE weren't around the corner, this would be a complete no brainer.
I haven't heard much buzz about LTE Blackberries except for the possibility of the Storm 3. I'm not a touchscreen fan so I'd be waiting for a QWERTY Boldlike device.
Any thoughts? Should I wait or just pull the trigger now and get a great deal on a couple of Bolds. I can always upgrade my main line in 12 months but will the LTE BBerries even be available by then?

Jul 19, 2011My Blackberry Bold 9780 crashed yesterday and has been problematic ever since. I have do a hard reset to rid the phone of all 3rd part applications. Since doing that the phone hasn't improved any, it crashes randomly and won't connect to Blackberry Desktop Software.When rebooting the phone has a series of errors:

May 5, 2012So my iPhone 3gs, when I plug in headphones, they won't go all the way into the jack, meaning the sound coming out of the headphones isnt what it normally sounds like. also, when i then unplug the headphones, and go to change the volume on the phone, it says that the headphones are still connexted even though they arent.

Jul 4, 2012This 'Senior' got jammed-up. Unable to change settings, settings unresponsive and am stuck in Siri. Problem happened IN SIRI, now can't change settings to even access the Siri option. SETTINGS WON'T LET ME ACCESS OPTIONS 'below level of Wallpaper'. Swipe won'r allow to go to any other screen in settings.This happened in SIRI and I can't even disable 'turn-off' Siri Unable to close applications on bottom of screen as well, as usually done.The 'voice mode' is on, and that is what jammed everything up.The only applications which show 'open on screen are' Messages,Phone, Settings and Safari, Mail, Music, and I am prevented from 'closing them'. I did a turn-off, began again with the apple logo but can't reset.Can't get past the first screen in my apps. I BELIEVE it is a SIRI problem but can't change settings other than 'Airplane Mode through Wallpaper.' how can I get 'out of it' without going to the Apple Store. Tiny store ,International Record as "Smallest Apple Store in the World", Santa Rosa, California..and they aren't much interested in giving-up that claim to fame!

Huawei Nexus 6P :: Volume Down Jammed - Can't Boot Past Bootloader
Jan 6, 2016The Volume Down button is jammed (the phone fell and landed on its edge slightly crushing the frame where the volume down is). Curiously the Volume Up button still increased the volume.
After turning the phone off the problem came when turning on the phone as it now only boots into the bootloader as a result of the jammed Volume Down button. Once in bootloader mode, the volume up/down buttons do not change the reboot options - it appears the stuck Volume Down button is causing this.
The way to fix this is to take the phone apart (as per the Youtube clips) and physically straighten the frame. This is no easy task, so the question: is there a way around this so that the phone can boot?It's rooted and fastboot commands work. (I installed TWRP but can only boot to recovery with adb).

Apr 6, 2010well currently im with verizon and my contract ends may 28th. i really want the iphone because im not crazy about my lg touch screen compared to my itouch. anyways, should i just go ahead and switch to at&t and get the 3gs? my thought is that it would probably be smart to get the 3gs and wait until the 4gs or the second 4g comes out so they work out all of the nit pics. plus the pics i saw look like the top of the 4g is thicker than the bottom, anyone else notice this? i dont need the video chat, and 16gb will be fine because i have a 64gb itouch for my music.lmk what you guys think. and how is at&t compared to verizon? also how much per month are your guys' plans?

Sep 4, 20104.1 only brings small features that I am not too excited about. I'm gonna hold on to my JB and wait for 4.2 to come out. I don't know if the DevTeam will release a JB for 4.1 because 4.2 is just around the corner. IMO, it would be better if they wait till 4.2.

May 24, 2010i'm trying to upgrade from my current 3G iphone to a faster iphone. I use my iphone as my main internet device (i have my laptop, but most often use the web on my iphone). The 3G is almost unbearable when it comes to things like web browsing. It's SOOO slow, especially compared to the 3GS. I'm trying to decide whether to get the 3GS now, or wait until the next gen iphone. The 3GS is pretty dang fast, so much more than my 3G. But the next gen iphone might have that cortex A8 processor and more ram. If that's the case, do you think we might see ipad like speeds on the next iphone. Worth waiting for?

Looking at the log with "logcat" I found the following error:
E/wpa_supplicant( 1775): ERROR - wpa_driver_tista_private_send - (ioctl_cmd = 8021501, res = 1, errno = 99) E/wpa_supplicant( 1775): ERROR - Failed to do tista scan! W/wpa_supplicant( 1775): Failed to initiate AP scan.
The only way to fix the problem is rebooting the device (and it did not even work all the times).

However, I called the closest Apple Store and they do not do priority lists. They said call back every morning to see if they received a new shipment and if so, they can't hold any. Sep 3, 2014I use the iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1.2. When I unlock the phone with my finger print, there is an animation where the icons move from the edges towards the center of the screen. After this animation is done, I have to wait approximately an entire second before I can swipe left/right on the touch screen in order to get to the apps on the other screens. Simple 'quick' tasks such as checking on emails will take far longer.
