4.1 only brings small features that I am not too excited about. I'm gonna hold on to my JB and wait for 4.2 to come out. I don't know if the DevTeam will release a JB for 4.1 because 4.2 is just around the corner. IMO, it would be better if they wait till 4.2.

well currently im with verizon and my contract ends may 28th. i really want the iphone because im not crazy about my lg touch screen compared to my itouch. anyways, should i just go ahead and switch to at&t and get the 3gs? my thought is that it would probably be smart to get the 3gs and wait until the 4gs or the second 4g comes out so they work out all of the nit pics. plus the pics i saw look like the top of the 4g is thicker than the bottom, anyone else notice this? i dont need the video chat, and 16gb will be fine because i have a 64gb itouch for my music.lmk what you guys think. and how is at&t compared to verizon? also how much per month are your guys' plans?
View 24 Replies View Relatedi'm trying to upgrade from my current 3G iphone to a faster iphone. I use my iphone as my main internet device (i have my laptop, but most often use the web on my iphone). The 3G is almost unbearable when it comes to things like web browsing. It's SOOO slow, especially compared to the 3GS. I'm trying to decide whether to get the 3GS now, or wait until the next gen iphone. The 3GS is pretty dang fast, so much more than my 3G. But the next gen iphone might have that cortex A8 processor and more ram. If that's the case, do you think we might see ipad like speeds on the next iphone. Worth waiting for?

But plan to in 2 weeks, I was wondering if i was just luckily at bestbuy at the time they got a shipment in or if they fly off the shelves and are out of stock alot of the time.

However, I called the closest Apple Store and they do not do priority lists. They said call back every morning to see if they received a new shipment and if so, they can't hold any. Not even for 30 min.
Do some Apple Stores really not have wait lists? What do you recommend?

View 24 Replies View RelatedI use the iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1.2. When I unlock the phone with my finger print, there is an animation where the icons move from the edges towards the center of the screen. After this animation is done, I have to wait approximately an entire second before I can swipe left/right on the touch screen in order to get to the apps on the other screens. Simple 'quick' tasks such as checking on emails will take far longer.

Since apple is coming out in a few weeks with a fix for the reception issues. Does that mean a few more weeks until JB now? Do the devices have to wait until this firmware is released so they could JB? Would they release a JB knowing there is another update due in a few weeks?

Is there a trick to the double tap hold for favorites.
I can click home from the first home screen for spotlight.
I can click and hold for voice control.
I can double click for multitasking.
But if I double click and don't release the home button for phone favorites, nothing ever happens. Is this not how it is suppose to work.
I have an iPhone 4 with Movistar. I bought my iPhone on May/2011 and i started having problems with the home button during february. I took my iPhone to Movistar technical service and the give a new one.
Whitin minutes of using my new iPhone 4, i noticed that the gadget was really hot and the battery drained really fast. Also, i could only talk if a put the phone on speaker mode and not in the usual way. On the next hours, the iphone was so hot that it feel like it burn my hand and hurts, no damage, but it was hot enough to hurt.
I took it to Movistar first thing in the morning and they noticed the problem right away (it was new), but they donīt want to give me other at the moment, i have to wait 10 days, i already waited 10 days the first time, so they can see and then give me a solution. I think that they never got me a new iPhone the first time, and only replace it with a used one. Movistar Chile is know for they corrupt practices
There is no Apple oficial representation here, so i donīt know who can i contact, but i trust the quality of Apple products (i have and iMac and an iPod Touch also), so i know that the company donīt hand defective new products like that.

i was using my iphone 4 last night when all of a sudden the hold/lock button at the top of the phone become stuck. I have not dropped it or anything and so cannot understand why there is a problem. it is stuck in the downwards position, as if i had pressed it and the button has not come back up.

View 10 Replies View RelatedThe proximity sensor on my iPhone 4 has been driving me crazy and I've been holding the phone to my left ear the same way as I've held every iPhone before with no problems. I thought what would happen if I moved it up a bit so the sensor was at the top part of my ear instead of at the hole part of the ear. So far, in the 3 calls I've made, it seems to have fixed it. Will have to see some more of the next couple days and it does require you to think and focus on how you are holding it but at least I can use the phone.

About 5 weeks ago, I got my iPhone 4s wet. It was not completely submerged in water and had a phone cover on it at the time.I put it in a bag of rice for about 3 weeks and it is now fully functional.The buttons, sound, camera, touch screen, etc... it works the way it did before. The only way the phone will turn on is if I connect it to the charger, but it will only stay on for a few mins before a red line appears across the screen and fades out then will power itself up again. If i leave it connected to the charger it will keep doing this over and over again.

I don't understand what is happening with the app but I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Moto Photon is my phone All it keep saying is please wait,synchroniation in progress. I call customer service and they told me to reset my phone did that and reinstall the app but still no dice . Customer service said that the app feature for the phone was only available the razr and razr maxx. Did a google search but i'm still lead back here. I can receive text messages and email calls on my motoactv but I'm unable to recieve my fitness info on my phone.
