BB Bold :: Adding Email Accounts Via Web Account?

I want to be able to edit my signature etc!

My bb bold was sent off for repaid and I picked it up yesterday and tried to load the 3 email accounts which were present on it before it went in for repaid. I have managed to load my hotmail account however when I try to load the other two email accounts it says that I need t verifiy the details. I have confirmed that the details are correct however I'm having no luck.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have searched hi and low so i assume there is no way to set the default DIFFERENTLY for each email account i have (i have three). i know how to set the default for the entire device (options, device settings, advanced, default) but that sets the default for all three of my accounts the same, which forces we to use the pull down to change it. is there no way to have a different default for each account?

When I go to "setup - email accounts - I have an option of Internet Mail Account and Enterprise Account. I select Internet Mail Account and when I select the Blackberry boots me out" I have nothing but problems with this OS 6.0 on my BB.

I don't think that will work. How do I change it to an Outlook Express account. The email address is xxx@yyyy.com The email server is ttt.ddd.com Since there's nothing to identify it as an Outlook account is that part (or all) of the problem?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI used to have my work e-mail address (not an enterprise account) linked to my blackberry. I have no idea how it happened. When I tried to set it up it asked for a password and I didn't have one for it. I closed the e-mail set-up thinking it had not worked. However, despite the blackberry saying it could not set-up the account, lo and behold a few minutes later I got the e-mail account activation message and everything was working. This was before I downloaded the new OS.Fast forward to today: the e-mail account accidentally was deleted. Now when I try to set it up I get more or less the same messages but it does not work magically as it did before. I have contacted our IT administrator to ask if there is ac password for my specific e-mail. We use Microsoft Exchange Server. He told me there are no other passwords than the one I use to access my e-mail through the internet. However, I have tried that password and it does not work.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI think about 90% of my contacts in my address book on my Tour had all of a sudden disappeared. Yes, I didn't do anything and it's gone! Well this is what happened. I added a new email account to my BB and it was "activating" the email account. There was also a new icon that showed up while "activating". After about 20 minutes it's done "activating" and the icon was gone. So I thought everything was fine and dandy. The next day, I was told that my windows live account kept on signing in and out on it's own every few minutes. I made a call using speed key and there was no name for the number (the call did go through though). So I went to my address book and saw that 90% of my contacts had disappeared. That's what happened. I did not do a back up before I added a new email account to BB.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got a replacement BB Bold b/c my old one died. I have my work email on my BB which is on an exchange server, that works no problem. I used to also have my personal POP account on my device as well. When I configured my new phone and put in my old SIM card into my new phone my POP account icon appeared on my phone. However my device is not recieving any of my POP account messages. I tried deleting the POP account through "settings" and "email settings" but the icon still appears on my device.I initally deleted my POP and added it again anyway and it still does not work, any suggestions?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a new 9700 with BIS.I have two email accounts. The first one was set up without any issues whatsoever.The second one is being more difficult.Up until last week, it was an exchange account so I tried to set it up as OWA. No matter what I tried, the 9700 wouldn't set up the account.
I then switched that email account it to another host at the weekend (the same host who hosts the account which does work on the 9700). The change is complete, the mailbox is 100% up and running and all the DNS records have been updated.
BUT the 9700 still won't recognise the account. I just don't know what else to try. I have tried a battery pull and also re-sent the service books but it still won't recognise the account.
I cannot set up internet email accounts on my new blackberry bold 9780 . I visited the blackberry website and found the instructions on how to set up. Per instructions I should select - Set up - Email accounts - and then Internet accounts, but unfortunately when I select Email accounts it only shows me Enterprise Email account set up not Internet emails account set up , per instructions it should show me both options

View 6 Replies View RelatedI got my BB Bold 9900 just after Christmas and had no problems in setting up my email accounts onto my device (hotmail & sky) however upon downloading the Olympics app it appears too of deleted these. I have gone to my setup and clicked on email accounts but its just not working. It clicks but doesnt act on the click (i can click like 20 times and nothing happens) and the screen remains the same like I havent clicked on anything. I can click on other options as BBM and it goes staright to my BBM chat so no problems with the button except for it doesnt act upon the email account.
I am with T Mobile who have been most unhelpful with this, I have done software updates and still this is not working
how to setup my email accounts? Everytime I click on the Email Accounts (under setup), I nothing happens. I can't even see the enterprise setup which I use to. I've had this on previously on Rogers and now just changed over to Fido.
View 3 Replies View Relatediv had my bold for a year and from i first set phone up i have not been able to go in to my email account set up menu. it does not do anything when i try and select it. its never been a problem as i only have one email address and never needed to add or edit account but know i am not receiving emails as i need to validate enail address with blackberry and cannot do this through my phone. iv tried restarts and registerng with wireless netork but nothing it works. i just cant click on the account icon .

I was following KB03133, however i never get the link "I will provide the settings" . Telus wont allow me to use the web login, so i cant access it that way.
