my phone did not pick up a charge and kept showing the lightning bolt then no bolt and repeating over and over every ten minutes not my phone has died and i can no longer use it because it wont charge. i have to spend 30 minutes finding a position for the phone to actually charge and now i cant use it.

I had my Bold 9900 2 days ago , everything was okay and working fine. I heard from a friend that there's an OS update you can get online you better go and download it, after installing the upgrade an error appeared while installing the update. Then I noticed that my phone is turning off " restarting " every like 3-5 mins . So I searched online for a solution and I tried the following options :
1. Using the loader application but it didn't work.
2. Resetting to Factory Settings but it didn't work, and the device now can not be seen by Black Berry Desktop.
After that I can't use my 3G services and still the problem the same of restarting by itself. Even I tried to downgrade the version of OS but I couldn't because now my PC can not connect to my Device.
I tried using a car charger and before that my Blackberry was charging perfectly but then I used the car charger and when I got inside to charge my phone it wouldn't they like bolt looking thing that shows your blackberry is charger wouldn't show up and the red light doesn't show up either. I took it into my service provider but they thought it was just the battery so I bought a new and I put it on the charger when I got home but still it wouldn't charge, so now I have two batteries that won't charge, right now I'm charging them by using my friends blackberry then putting the battery back in mine. Also when my charger won't connect to my phone I can't even charge it from my pc because it doesn't hook up.I really just want my bb to charge.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy bold 9900 doesnt play music through the headphones anymore, it just blasts it out. i have tried rebooting it and tried several pairs of headphones. when i plug them in, the icon flashes between the headset icon and the normal icon. i have also tried putting them in slowly and holding them in, but none of these work. I have only recently bought it and it has never been dropped or damaged.

Still no charge, but this time, at least the charging light came on for a very short time. Since I have very small crack in the screen, they say the warranty is voided. So I have a phone less than a year old that is dead and I have no recourse?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my BB Bold 9900 10 months ago and I never had problems charging my device. But just the other day, when i got home and charged it, when i woke up, Led - RED light blinking and wont turn on. I used a different charger ( brand new) but still the same. I tried connecting it to my laptop to charge but still, no good. BB desktop says that device was not connected (obviously since it has no power). I searched online and tried the "kickstart" they're saying where in I have to charge my phone for 2 hrs and remove battery for 10 mins and put the battery back and wait for another 2 hrs - still no good . Although when i tried that, I saw the charging icon for a few secs during the first 2 hrs but didnt see it again.
Has anyone got a suggestion? Would you know if I need to replace my battery or have this fixed? We dont have BB service center here in the Phillipines. Dealer would normally send the device to Singapore to have it checked/fixed. I cant afford not to have my phone because of my job and I have files stored in it..<sigh>
my bold 9900 screen will only work when on charge.when unplugged it freezes,goes dull and wont respond.if you plug it back in it still does not work. it wont turn off.if you leave it to go flat or remove battery then plug it in it turns on again!

I removed the battery to reset it and now a red LCD light is flashing and the phone starts to turn on you know when you first turn it on and it says blackberry then the line starts to load it just keeps doing that! I can't go to my network provider at the moment because im in Australia!

Suddenly without updating anything i plugged it in my computer to charge it and as soon as i connect the connector the phone shuts down with the red light flashing. I reopen the phone to charge it into the wall... Same thing as soon as the connecter enters, phone crash. So I have no way to charge it. I thought it was a battery default so I bought a new battery. I've googled this problem and everyone seems to have it. The X10 does not charge the phone anymore. We think its a USB connection in the phone thats causing the problem. Soetimeswhen i move the cable (Where it connects to the phone) around abit I can get a charge but lately nothing at all. Tried other usb cords and battery's and still nothing. It just happened out of the blue.

I have tested multiple wall chargers, as well as multiple cables, and while they all work on a computer USB port, and the chargers can charge all my other devices fine (including a HP Touchpad that has higher power reqs than the phone), the phone refuses to charge off the wall. I have gone into the Android recovery and did a factory reset as well as clearing the cache, but no go.

I have two usbs in my car. One directly to my audio system and other is a cigarette lighter to usb (2.1amp). Both won't charge my BB9900 but it charged my BB9360 curve and my friends BB8300..
On the usb connected to the radio i get a pop up saying this usb doesn't have enough power to charge, on the inverter (Cigarette lighter to usb) nothing happens as if the USB isn't connected to anything.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently came from an 8900 to a bold 9700. I used the screenshot tool a lot. So I downloaded it to this phone and now it won't work. It just takes a shot of a white screen. Should I update the OS and try again? I'm currently running .330 which is the default for all tmo bolds. This is the only solution I can think of. If anybody knows something I don't about this please speak up.
