BB Bold :: 9900 - Sending Group Text (Only 8 Out Of 18 Receive Message)
May 8, 2012I have a Bold 9900. Under "contacts" I have created a distribution list, mainly my baseball team so if a game is cancelled, I would like to address them all in one swoop. The problem is, only 8 out of 18 receive a text. I go to the "text message" icon, press the blackberry button on "compose text message". When it asks "To:" I select from my contact list, my baseball team.
Some of the entries on my list have an email address only while others have both. What do I have to do to successfully reach everyone on the list? Would it work better if it were only email or mobile addresses? Does it matter whether they are MTS or Rogers customers for their cell phones? Do I require to add 1+then the area code for the cell phone numbers?

Feb 8, 2012Just upgraded from Curve 8520 to Curve 9360, and I'm a little disappointed at the moment. Firstly, the battery doesn't last half as long, and secondly, its sending duplicate text in an email.
E.g.:
I send an email saying : Hi, how are you?.
What it really sends is : Hi, how are you? Hi, how are you? </div>

Oct 18, 2012I downloaded the new OS but when I installed, I had to input all the details from my contacts list. Now I have two duplicate contact lists for each of my three email accounts. The real problem is that I cannot send a new email. I can reply to anything but anything new I try to write fails. Once I have hit sent, the top of the message show: Sent Using: Unknown

Dec 1, 2012After doing the upgrade this week, I notice there are some glitches. I can no longer send a photo to a BBM contact directly - Send to BBM group is an option, not BBM contact. I can attach a picture from BBM, but with small thumbnails it can be difficult.
Some of my apps like Popup, no longer work. Might be more..just slowly trying them out.

Jun 25, 2012I have recently synced my hotmail email to my new blackberry bold, for some reason it duplicates my signature, which I set on my hotmail, every time I send an email. When I get rid of the signature and just sign my name, it says my name twice. I have made sure that I don't have a signature set on my phone, and so it is just my hotmail one.

BB Bold :: Stop Duplicate Copies Of Email Sent?
Sep 25, 2012Whenever I read, or reply emails in Outlook 2010 on my laptop/pc, a copy of that same email gets sent to my handheld again (ending up with 2 copies of same email).
how I can stop this from happening? It's a pain to read or reply to 5 emails and then have the same 5 emails sent to my handheld. If I read them on my 9900, delete or reply to them, no duplicate is sent again.

BB Bold :: 2 Email Accounts Lead To Duplicate Contact Lists
Nov 18, 2011method of deleting an old email accoun in the contacts section of the handset?
I set up a second email account and synched all my contacts not thinking that the handset would show them all twice. I found that you could show only one set but i had to go into options and do this every time i wanted to display only one set of contacts on the device. In the end this drove me nuts and i've since deleted one email account as it is rarely used for anything other than purchasing things over the internet. I thought that this would resolve the issue and the deleted account disappeared as you would expect but there is a hangover in the contacts lists where it still shows both sets of contacts and i can see the old gmail account is still there. I've rebooted the device and been through all the menus and the only place this old email account exists is in the contacts folder.
Ideally i would like both accounts on the handset and for it to only display one set of contacts from one account at any time while still synching both email accounts when any changes are made on the handset.

Aug 11, 2011I have just synced my new blackberry bold 9780 with my pc via the desktop software.The first time it synced no problem as all but I now have duplicate contacts for both email address's and now it wont sync at all. Comes up with an error saying yahoo server is temporary unavailable.This happened with my old blackberry too and I never did manage to get it solved as Vodafone was saying its Yahoo problem and yahoo was saying it was a vodafone problem.

I'm on virgin mobile in Canada. 3 days ago it started telling me my messages have failed to send and sometimes I'd get the 'service currently not available will resend when network becomes available'. But the thing is when I would get those messages the texts were actually going through and the phone would send duplicates of these messages without my input. Now it's sending duplicates regardless if I get those failed message notifications. I've factory reset the phone twice. I've hooked it up to the computer to see what's going on and to see if there is an update. Both the computer and the auto update option say I'm up to date. Phone is not rooted. Running Android 5.0.1. I've called tech assist and I've replaced the sim card.

Sometimes it will send multiple duplicate copies of an SMS text. I mean 4 or 5 copies of the same message, usually straight after 1 another. Mar 7, 2011Ever since I switched to the new OS 6, I cannot send SMS messages to anybody. Here's the problem:
- I send an SMS to various people with different phones
- Various people tell me they cannot read the message, different phones (Nokia, Android) report getting "message format not supported"
- For some reason, only iPhone users can read my SMS
- Sending MMS works, but not SMS
My phone provider is WIND, and I was wondering if this is due to my provider or the new OS? I can only use BBM for so long lol.

Sep 14, 2011I have 3 mail accounts connected to my bb. Originally all posted to one folder messages folder in the message 'center' where all the sms etc go into (middle of the screen icon at the top) i am not sure what has started to happen but suddenly i then had 2 messages folders and now i have 3. They all go to the same place and sometimes contain the same message which just appears in all 3.
I think this started when i started configuring the sync of the deletion of the folders "folder reconciliation". how i can delete these additional folders as they are just a nuicense they mean very little as mail is randomly flowing into them.
