View 7 RepliesI bought bold 9790 four months back during June'12. When i make a call, handset speaker is not working and i am not able to listen to the caller when it is in handset mode. When i opt for speaker mode, i can listen to the caller. Is there any option which would've got changed by mistake OR is it speaker related problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy observation is that REBOOT issue some how related to battery level reader s/w or something. because as soon as battery level goes below 80%(approx), device start rebooting and after some reboots it shows battery level in "red'.
Remove battery put back and 80% cases reboot cycle stops and battery level is normal. However it remains for some time only. try to make/recv call and it starts rebooting again.
i got a new bold 9790 and its only a day old i charged the phone all night but after an hour it died and the phone is also overheating what should i do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have taken a new Bold 9790, one week back, its touch and type, this is my First Blackberry Device. the mail problem i am facing is that the battery is draining out very fast. in just 5 hours of usage it comes down to 50%, and its only calls and messages on mail, texts. if i use the social networking services and music, it will come down more fast.i had taken the phone to the technician at distributor, he did some settings and deleted some files, still it does not solve the problem.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo after the phone heated up and then died I had the battery replaced but it still doesnt work. When the new battery was in use it would turn on but the SIM Card would not work or be recognized by the phone. I have been using a different phone with the same SIM card and know that it isnt that. What should I do?

When I connect through USB port to recharge, I get a message on the blackberry that says something to the effect: "The device you are connected to is not capable of charging your battery." I am able to charge by connecting directly to the 115 V AC plug but not via computer.

View 4 Replies View RelatedRecently I have been getting a problem with my 9700 Blackberry. When I make or receive calls, I can not hear anything out of my handset. The person on the other line can hear fine (Usually with me going Hello Hello a million times!) The only time I can hear anything is when I have my bluetooth on or switching it to speakerphone.
I tried doing the soft reset (battery pull when the phone was still on) ...still nothing. Although it did work a couple of times. Its on and off, but recently the situation has gone from bad to worse.Anyone out there with the 9700 with the same issue? It's really annoying and I do use the phone a lot for important calls.
I gave my sister my old curve its about 1 1/2 yrs old. the day i gave it to her the phone worked just fine but after she flew back home the battery would only last her a few minutes. i told her to try a new battery but it still has not changed anything. i even got her to upgrade to 5.0 just to see if it would make any difference but it doesnt.
she barely uses any apps, and mostly uses the phone for emailing.on standby it will every 10minutes or so the battery life will go down by 10%, and after a few texts or a minute or two on a call the phone will just die. she can pretty much just use it when its connected to a power source.Seems like a phone issue but there is no warranty on it
Is it normal for my 9700 to take more than 5 minutes to start up?? Its strange because not to long ago I used to do battery pulls or a soft reset and my device would be up and running within a minute or two!! By the time it load up my battery is almost drained!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got an Xperia x8 and I want to plug it in to charge the battery and also to connect it via usb to my laptop but I don't get how to plug the charger into the phone. I can see where it is supposed to go (to the left of the on/off switch) on the top edge of the handset but, there there is a covering over the jack with a usb symbol on it. I can not believe I am having so much trouble with such a simple task, it's embarrassing. how to plug the usb cord or battery charger into the x8 handset.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo this just started today. I just unplugged my S6 from my charger, after charging it from heavy usage a few hours ago. I boot it up, and a minute later I notice that my battery has dropped by 2%. A few seconds pass and now the device was at 97%. I was puzzled and was wondering if my battery life was getting bad.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought this iphone a month ago and the battery was fine for the first few weeks. Now it seems to be draining faster. I've turned off all the settings that save battery life, i've restored and set up as new, i've reset all settings, i've tried calibrating the battery i've tried EVERYTHING!

My iPhone 4 loses an average of 10% battery every 30-60 minutes and usually loses 1% when I put it on standby.

My iphone was working well and one day it started to drain really really fast. almost 1% per 3 minutes, without using any app. I've done everything i have to do to improve my battery life:Touch ID, Location Services, Notifications, Background App,Brightness All of them disabled. So , i made every kind of restore that exists (network settings, without any Security or Icloud copy). I've disabled my Icloud Account too. and the problem persists, i really dont know what to do.Â
I bought my Iphone 5S, in December 2013, so i cannot imagine that my battery drain in that way. In 4 hours , i have to charge it again, with a minimal use.

So my Sprint Blackberry Tour 9630 takes on average 13-15 minutes with a battery pull reset. I love the phone, and have no complaints about it except for this issue. I've had plenty of blackberries and this is taking the longest. I have no clue as to why it takes so long - I dont have any apps really installed, and no pictures/music, etc. loaded.
Anyone have any thoughts or ideas how I can make it run faster? This is the stats of my phone:
5.0.0.624 OS
914.6mb of free space (917.7mb total)
My battery life is horrible. I can barely get a day done and when I stop using it, the battery drains really fast by about 10% in a few minutes. I'm a huge Sony lover and the fact that I can't get the actual amount this Z2 is capable of is really frustrating. pÂ
View 5 Replies View RelatedSince updating my Iphone 4S to 5.1.1. I lose about 2% of battery every 5 minutes. Before I updated I could go the whole day without a charge. Now I must leave it plugged in at my desk all day. I double click the home button and close out apps when I'm done, so I have nothing running in the background.

My iPhone battery looses 1% every 2 minutes so I'm wondering if that's normal? I've only used for 3 hours and 1 min and I'm at 44%. Is this normal? And if not how do I fix it to improve battery life. I only users my phone to txt and go Facebook that's about it.

My iPhone lost almost 10% of battery in about 35 minutes while I was listening to music. All of my apps were closed and my phone was locked. This has happened a few times. Shouldn't it have lost 0%-2% instead? My phone even loses around 3%-4% at night when I'm sleeping but I only use the timer to wake up at a certain time. All the other apps are closed. I've turned off the unimportant features in settings but it's still losing battery. Should I just get a new phone?
